Blush -Aveda - Petal Essence Cheek Tint - Oleander

I love this new cheek/lip stick from Aveda -- goes on so smooth and easily blendable and smells good too (but nothing over the bend)! This color when on looks so natural and I like this far more than NARS stick of similar shade. It looks quite dark in the stick but goes on with a natural not too blue or too brown look. I hope they make more colors because I love this. I am a GGG/hazel eys.
Definitely a washout! I am a NC30 and this is ghastly! I sometimes like a pale lip but this makes me look dead! I can't imagine this looking good on anyone!
I love the Chanel Bronzers in the Irreelle line. This is the first one I have purchased and now I have to have all 3! I am a GGG/hazel eyes -- NC30-35 Winter/Summer and I could use this as a face powder in the Winter. The sparkle is subtle and just gives the bronzer some depth. The color for me is just simply perfect for me right now before I go Summer darker. I have tried Lancome(the one in the huge compact), MAC, NARS Laguna - ugh, and many others and none compare to this line in Chanel. Not too orangy, rosey, dark or browny -- JUST RIGHT! Gettin' 'em all!
Too me TRUE is simply a blush -- but a beautiful one. On my GGG skin it looks fab in the Summer. I can't imagine this being used everywhere - it is too dark and too sparkly but on the cheeks and maybe on the eyes it is gorgeous. My Summer staple!
I was so excited about this when I read the color description and saw a picture of it but it is nothing special. It is just like Gypsy if Gypsy had a gold shimmer and also alot like Flair but a hair warmer because of the gold shimmer. I am sending this back. I am a GGG NC30/35 Winter Summer and I have a lot of lipsticks that are very similar that I like a lot better. YAWN---
When did NARS (my Holy Grail makeup company) start making all these ho hum or worse, UGLY, eyeshadows. They haven't had a good duo since Earth Angel. This is just awful. I can't imagine it looking good on anyone. Someone needs to tell the makeup makers that hardly anyone on earth looks good in the new awful lime greens they are trying to hawk. Just plain nasty!
This is the newest lip lacquer from NARS called Capucine and I think it is beautiful. It looks like a bright orange with a little gold shimmer in the pot but once on it turns a little to the coral side. It is sheer and the shimmer gives it depth. It has great staying power. I am a GGG w/hazel eyes and have been looking for an orange that didn't look ridiculous and I have found it. Simply luscious!
I love these new shimmer lipsticks and this is positively gorgeous! It reminds me of MAC Nymphette lipglass and it is everything that NARS Orgasm lipgloss wishes it could be. This is a gorgeous peach with golden shimmer. I am a GGG. I think I have to have all these Sui Shimmer lipsticks!
This is one of my favorite duo's from NARS. I am a GGG with hazel eyes and I look great in these shadows singularly or paired. The green just makes my hazel eyes smoulder and the taupe (more of a bronze) really brightens my eyes. Oh, and before I forget, the best thing about NARS shadows is they never burn my eyes. Blue Ribbon winner on this ANGEL!
Hated it and I would like to find anyone of any color that would look good in these ho hum colors! Went right back to Sephora!
Highlighters -Guerlain - Les Meteorites balls powder

Just received the Meteorites Beige Chic and I really love it. I can only use the colored balls in the dead of winter because they go on so light -- and I do love them -- but these are great. Give a great powder glow finish. I am a GGG and I think I could even use these when I am tanned but right now when I am as light as I can get they are lovely. These should be great on everyone unless you are a person of deep color.
Palettes -Diane Von Furstenberg - Glamour Compact Sun Goddess Golds

Although normally these colors would look great on my GGG skin - the eyeshadows went on very cakey and the lip items burnt my lips after being on a short time. The blushes were good but the supposedly translucent powder was too light and not translucent at all but opaque and cakey. Very nice packaging and really had hopes for this all in one palette (I love those) but this dog is goin' back!
I lova lova LOVE this. The color is gorgeous on my full GGG lips. It is just the right amount of golden shimmer and is sort of a sheer reddy corally golden neutral color. This is beautiful and you can't beat the packaging and they taste good too. Gotta have more of this formula in other colors!
OK -- so I am a sucker like everyone else but I HAD to have it. It is almost just the same as MAC Nymphette but Nymphette is so much prettier and yummier too. This is a pale peach with gold shimmer and just makes my GGG skin wash out. Lots better out there --Get MAC lipglass Nymphette you'll like it a lot better. This is going back. Sweet Dreams is so much sweeter than this puppy dog!
Primer/ Corrector -Guerlain - Divinora Pure Radiance

I have been looking and looking for the perfect primer for my powder foundations and at last the HOLY GRAIL! I have older oily skin and hate those MOISTURIZING primers because they add to my problem of creasing and settling in the lines with my powder foundations and then shine on through in an hour. This is wonderful - a smooth and flawless finish and the powder just adds a fine mist and no caking and no shine. I definitely have to have a back-up on this gem!
