Concealers -New York Color - Cover Stick in Medium
rated 2 of 5
FiestyFemme 11/26/2004 5:39:00 PM

This was another cheapie product I would never have bought had there not been mega raves for it. It comes in this awful cheap looking lipstick tube, but it's exactly what you'd expect the packaging to look like for $1.99. It also doesn't twist all the way down into the tube, so until you wear it down, it's really easy to nick the side of the concealor on the cap. It IS a good concealor though! It's fairly creamy, blends easily, and is pigmented. It doesn't crease on me or settle in fine lines. It also doesn't cover these completely horrid dark circles of mine, but I'm yet to find anything that will. I use the shade Medium, which is misleading because it's really a light shade. I'd repurchase this again! :)

EDIT 4/19/05 - I tossed this at the beginning of the year. It was starting to look dry on me, even with eye cream, and it was creasing and sinking into lines (and I'm only 20!). It had to go.

Liquid -Clinique - Superfit Foundation [DISCONTINUED]
rated 3 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/14/2004 6:57:00 PM

I've had two different bottles of this, and I'm finally ready to give up on it. The first time around, Superfit did not work for me because my skin was oily. The foundation would oxidize on me, and I'd be an oil slick within an hour. I decided to give it another go because it makes my best friend's skin look so good, but it's still not for me. As far as the oil control and wear, it was much better for me this time around because my skin is combo. Semi-dewy finish, medium coverage, and fairly long-wearing. I just can't find a good color match! Creamwhip was the perfect shade level, but it was just way too peachy for me. Ah well. I've got better things anyways.

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipgloss - Nude Lustre
rated 4 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/14/2004 6:49:00 PM

Nude Lustre is a great lipgloss! On my medium pigmented rosy lips, it tones down the pink and shows up as a warm sandy peachy pink. It's very flattering and looks pretty natural on this MAC C3/Aromaleigh 2W skin w/medium golden brown hair and hazel eyes. I'd repurchase if I ever ran out unless I found something better (like this color and formula minus the scent!).

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipgloss- Cherries in the Glow [DISCONTINUED]
rated 3 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/14/2004 6:44:00 PM

Cherries In The Glow will make a great lipgloss for fall! This is actually my second one of these--- I had a stupid moment and gave the first one away. I recently rediscovered how much I like this! Cherries In The Glow shows up as a sheer reddish tint on my rosy pigmented lips, though I do have to do a thick layer. I'm thinking it will look great w/flushed cheeks! I'll repurchase should I ever need to unless I find something better. I'm a MAC C3/Aromaleigh 2W w/medium golden brown hair and hazel eyes.

Lipstick -Prestige - Desire
rated 5 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/9/2004 9:56:00 PM

Prestige Desire is what I like to call my Barbie pink--- it's a medium frosty blue-based pink... very 80's. :) I love to pair this w/Revlon's Super Lustrous lipgloss in Shine That Pink. This looks the best, IMHO, with smokey eyes and pink cheeks. I'd definitely repurchase when I ran out! I'm a MAC C3/Aromaleigh 2W w/medium golden brown hair and hazel eyes.

Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild - Wild Shine Lipstick in Latte Shine #323
rated 5 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/9/2004 9:52:00 PM

I love the Wild Shine lipsticks because of their gel-like texture. I also love the fact that they're fragrance free, and you can reapply w/no gunky buildup! Latte Shine is a warm caramel brown on my rosy lips. It lets some of my natural lip color show through, and it looks really natural on me. I'll definitely repurchase this! I'm a MAC C3/Aromaleigh 2W w/medium golden brown hair and hazel eyes.

EDIT 4/19/05 - Great color and formula, but it's just not for me anymore. I rarely wear lipstick, so this was given away.

rated 4 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/9/2004 9:49:00 PM

I love the Wild Shine lipsticks because of their gel-like texture. I also love the fact that they're fragrance free, and you can reapply w/no gunky buildup! Suga' Shine is a warm golden pink w/a hint of a coral of my rosy lips. It really brightens my face! I'll repurchase for sure when I run out. I'm a MAC C3/Aromaleigh 2W w/medium golden brown hair and hazel eyes.

EDIT 4/19/05 - Great color and formula, but it's just not for me anymore. I rarely wear lipstick, so this was given away.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Wet Shine Diamonds - Pink Topaz
rated 4 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/9/2004 9:44:00 PM

Pink Topaz is a gorgeous warm bronzey pink w/pink shimmer. It's something I find easily wearable for all seasons, but it looks especially pretty w/a tan (fake, of course!). I'll definitely repurchase when I'm finished with this one. I'm a MAC C3/Aromaleigh 2W w/medium golden brown hair and hazel eyes.

EDIT 4/19/05 - I've since given this away, but I still think it's a great color. I just can't stand stuff that I never use cluttering up my stash, so this had to go.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Wet Shine Lipstick - Pink-a-boo
rated 5 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/9/2004 9:39:00 PM

I love Maybelline's Wet Shine Lipstick! I love the fact that they're smooth and slick upon application, and that they have no discernable fragrance. I think what impresses me most is that you can reapply w/o having gunky buildup! Pink-a-boo is a light nude pink w/silver shimmer. I love to pair it w/PF Baked Smokes Trio--- it compliments smokey eyes well! I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. I'm a MAC C3/Aromaleigh 2W w/medium golden brown hair and hazel eyes.

EDIT 4/19/05 - Though I still love the color, I ended up giving this away since I rarely wore it (because honestly it's not like I'm sporting grey smokey eyes everyday!).

Lips -Maybelline - Wet Shine Lipstick in Pink Pout
rated 5 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/9/2004 9:34:00 PM

I love Maybelline's Wet Shine Lipstick! I love the fact that they're smooth and slick upon application, and that they have no discernable fragrance. I think what impresses me most is that you can reapply w/o having gunky buildup! I'm on my second tube of Pink Pout, and that says a lot since I'm not loyal to much. Pink Pout is a warm light golden pink. I find it wearable w/most anything, and it does not wash me out. I'll definitely repuchase this again and again! I'm a MAC C3/Aromaleigh 2W w/medium golden brown hair and hazel eyes.

EDIT 4/19/05 - I'm not changing my rating or review for this since it is a great lipstick formula and color, but I've since given this away since I was never wearing it. However, I'd still highly recommend it to those who are looking for a pretty golden pink.

Lip Gloss -Almay - Whipped Gloss - Cherry Splash
rated 3 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/9/2004 9:27:00 PM

Cherry Splash did not work for me :( I found it to be a little too bright and cool for my neutral to warm toned self. It's my fault for purchasing it though, because I knew that I don't really feel comfortable or think I look good in reds. I'm a MAC C3/Aromaleigh 2W w/medium golden brown hair and hazel eyes.

Lip Gloss -Almay - Whipped Gloss - Amethyst Glimmer
rated 5 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/9/2004 9:19:00 PM

I would never have purchased Amethyst Glimmer had it not been for the positive reviews here, so thanks! :) Amethyst Glimmer looks super dark and scary in the tube (at least to this nude and light pinks only girl!), but on my rosy lips, it shows up as a sheer medium pinky plum. I find it very face brightening, and it seems to wear off evenly. I'd definitely buy this again! I'm a MAC C3/Aromaleigh 2W w/medium golden brown hair and hazel eyes.

Lip Gloss -Almay - Whipped Gloss- Sheer Raspberry
rated 3 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/9/2004 9:13:00 PM

Sheer Raspberry is another gorgeous shade from the Whipped Gloss line. It's a warm, medium pink w/shimmer... very pretty! :) It really brightens up my face, and looks great paired with a simple eye and flushed cheeks. I would definitely repurchase if I ever ran out. I love the brush applicator and minty scent of these glosses! I'm a MAC C3/Aromaleigh 2W w/medium golden brown hair and hazel eyes.

EDIT 4/19/05 - This shade is in my giveaway bag now. Gorgeous as it is, it looks harsh with my coloring and just off.

Lip Gloss -Almay - Pink Cloud
rated 3 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/9/2004 9:06:00 PM

Despite loving the Whipped Glosses, Pink Cloud was just not for me. It was way too cool for my neutral to warm toned complexion. However, I'm still giving this 3 lippies because I love all the other Whipped Glosses I've tried. This was my own fault for getting a shade I knew would be too cool for me. I just couldn't resist the pretty blue sparkles! ;)

Lip Gloss -Almay - Whipped Gloss - Nude Reflection
rated 3 of 5
FiestyFemme 10/9/2004 9:04:00 PM

I love the Whipped Glosses, and Nude Reflection is no exception! On my rosy medium pigmented lips, Nude Reflection shows up as a warm brown nude glaze. It still lets my natural color show through, so I feel this looks really natural. It's definitely something I could wear everyday. I love the brush applicator and minty scent! I'm a MAC C3/Aromaleigh 2W w/medium golden brown hair and hazel eyes.

EDIT 4/19/05 - I don't wear this often anymore, and in fact, it's probably going to end up in my giveaway bag. I still love the Whipped Glosses, but I'm just not as in love with this shade as I once was. I can't say I'll be repurchasing.
