just bought this on a whim because i found a very small, very cheap bottle of it. i agree with other reviewers that the packaging is totally lame and misleading, and that this is a fairly generic perfume that most anyone would like. nothing special really. when i first sprayed it, i immediately thought of Marc Jacobs -- very flowery, gardenia/tuberose, but in a clean, modern, non-grandma kind of way. i don't regret that i bought this -- although it's a bit generic and flowery (like shampoo), that makes it perfect to spray in your hair! =)

this smells like a glade plug-in air freshener on steroids... instant nausea. the dark, red bottle is very misleading -- this perfume is not at all mysterious or sexy. it smells like cheap hairdye or bathroom deodorizer -- some sort of "super fresh" scent you'd use to mask heavy chemicals. maybe it just doesn't work with my body chemistry -- i don't know! whatever it is, it's bad!

while this does come in a lovely range of colors, i find the scent to be unbearable. i call this the french-old-lady-cosmetics smell... it grosses me out in a revlon/chanel-lipstick kind of way. uggggh. it's not sexy and vanilla-scented like MAC lipglass -- it's synthetically flowery like cheap soap/perfume. whenever i wear it, i'm distracted by how gross it smells. yuck. to top it all off (couldn't resist the bad pun), the gold cap-cover cracked a bit and keeps coming off! i keep getting tempted by the colorful testers at the drugstore, but all it takes is one whiff for me to keep walking...

i love this!! i carry this and the body shop's hemp hand protector with me everywhere i go! the little tin is particularly convenient to carry around as it doesn't spill... i can discreetly/absent-mindedly dab this on my fingers at work while i'm doing something else. it's great... and because it's a bit waxy, it's not greasy, and it doesn't wash off too easily. highly recommend it!

why, why, WHY is this always #1 in the magazines?!? i have no clue. it's awful. it's completely liquid-y and never dries. the brush is very sparse and you end up with 3 big, clumped-together lashes. it's as horrible as its garish packaging.

i wanted to like this so badly! i love grapefruit scents and YSL in general, but this one really just doesn't work for me. it smells *wonderful* at first (so fresh & citrus-y!) but then fades into a horrible powdery-musk that smells like some sort of teen deodorant. yikes. unfortunately this note also seems to have incredible staying power!! eww.
