Foundations -Ultima II - Glowtion foundation

I have a terrible time w/ foundations/TM's turning orange on me so I was worried when I tried my aunt's bottle of this but it really went on great and blended well. I bought this in fair and its really doing a great job. It's a tad thick so I mix it w/ my SPF 15 moisturizer and it glides on perfect. It provides a very natural luminous glow and has great staying power. The only gripe I have is that if you don't put it on and blend it well quickly it can leave some blotches...but for the job it does evening out my skintone and giving me a healthy glow, I can handle that!

Conditioner -Aveda - Deep Penetrating Hair Revitalizer

This product works for my hair OK in the winter when it's dried out but during the rest of the year, it's just too heavy on my for the most part healthy hair. I will use it about once a month as a hair mask for repair from my flat iron. The scent is wonderful though...totally indescribable but oh so divine! If I need to "wake up", I'll just uncap and sniff at the beginning of my shower!

This product is nice...but nothing to write home about. I have very dry skin and needed something to help constant handwashing. (at the time I bought it I was going from farm to farm and had to disinfect my skin). The orchard scent is nice...seems overpowering at first but really isn't. It has a nice silky feel and absorbs well, just doesnt have staying power. This has become the lotion I apply at the end of my pedicure and it does a good enough job.

Lotions/ Creams -Mary Kay - Satin Hands

This really is what most reviewers have said...a treat for your hands (& feet!). I have the trial size and am in dire need of purchasing the full size set!!! The results are FANTASTIC! I have a bit of trouble getting the lotion to absorb completely but IMO it's worth the extra effort. A little pricey for frequent use like I need, but still a great set nonetheless.

Blush -MAC - Sheertone blush in Tenderling

This blush gives my fair, pinky undertoned skin a nice little very subtle "flush" w/o looking like I have makeup on. A MAC SA put this on me and ever since I've been hooked. I use a more "stand out" blush when I want to be "made up" but this is great for my "every day" color. Price is very reasonable and w/ MAC, for every 6 empty containers you return you get a free lipstick.

Not good packaging...but don't judge a book by its' cover. This is the cheapest but most effective staple in my makeup case. If you want luminosity...it's here. I apply it w/ a heavy hand BEFORE my tinted moisturizer and end up with this healthy glow. For $2...why not try it?!

I have a terrible time finding a foundation that doesn't turn orangy on me. I finally gave up. I apply a moist. w/ SPF before this...then apply this and it works like a charm. My skin is clearer, it evens out my skin tone, and no foundation lines, streaks or orange tint. But as your sole moist., if you have dry spots, this probably won't cut it.

Lips -Unlisted Brand - Bellini Lip Shine

Beautiful high shine lip shine in a pale fleshy pink color. The microglitter adds a great look but is so fine and not gritty at all. Handy brush applicator is much better than wands. The only downside? You have to reapply often but it's worth it!

Pressed Powders -Unlisted Brand - Glow On!

This product is at grail status for me now! It's perfect for giving that "candlelit" glow. If your skin has pinky undertones, you can go a little heavier on it to warm up your face. Really helps brighten up face and detract from flaws. This will ALWAYS stay close at hand!

I love this stuff! Everytime I wash my hair I run this through my ends before blowdrying and it really makes a difference. TIP: mix a few drops w/ your conditioner after shampooing, massage in ends and leave in for duration of shower before rinsing. WOW what sleek shine!

I LOVE this product! After having some irritation problems with another, more expensive brand on my VERY sensitive combo skin...this is a welcome change. It applies easily, absorbs well w/o being greasy, is a great base to apply makeup over and has the SPF...a HUGE plus! After a thin layer on my face I mix this w/ my tinted moisturizer for a flawless, natural appearance. Will continue to use!

Cleansers -Aveeno - Skin Clarifying Cleanser

I love this product. I have VERY sensitive combo skin that had developed an irritation to the higher end regime I was using that left me dry and itchy. This product combined w/ their pos. rad. moist. has been great. It cleanses my skin w/o being harsh, has really helped even out my skin tone and has cut down on my breakouts. Definately worth the price.
