Makeup Brushes -Victoria's Secret - Push Liner Brush

a clone of TM #11, with nearly the same high quality and ease of use. I like using dark e/s to line my eyes so this brush is very useful. Not AS soft and dense as TM, but for $8, I'm not complaining. I've found that VS has very nice brushes, and this is the best of them all.

Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Line Intensifique

I'm an eyeliner spaz, so in order for me to rave about any eyeliner, it had better be good. And this IS! It's very easy to apply, is buildable for a very thin line or a dramatic cat-eye, and lasts well even on my oily lids. I love it, will repurchase it in several colors.

wow! not a UD knockoff but great in its own right. five shadows (mostly shimmery) which resemble Stila Boho Cafe colors (i got downtown browns). Postitively a steal at $3.95. Also comes in a blue, purple, and pastel palette.

Palettes -Revlon - Skinlights Custom LipColors in Rose Quartz

Wow! I HAD to buy this since I'm a sucker for palettes! :) it comes with 6 pans, a mirror and a brush. The pans are the same size as Illuminance creme e/s pans I believe. It has four "color dips" (pigmented, with subtle shimmer) one "lip effects" (iridescent gloss with slight pigment) and one colorglaze (nearly clear lipgloss) It's a great way to personalize your look. I paid $10 but they were BOGOF @ Rite Aid. I will definitely use this a lot!

Palettes -Stila - 5-Pan Holiday

a great way to try out several stila products for minimal $$. I really like the neutral eyeshadows, they're good quality as all stila eyeshadows are. I was hoping that the lipgloss was a lip-glaze but alas, no fragrance or flavor, simply a light pink (goes on clear) gloss. Convertible color is also quite nice, it feels sticky on your fingertips (a very little is needed, one dot on each cheek for blush) but blended it gives that "i just got in a snowball fight" glow to my cheeks! It's great for travel or a fast look.

Palettes -L'Oreal - The Fast Face In A Case

this is super cute. I got it in Mocha, with 2 eyeshadows, a cheek color and a lipcolor. The eyeshadows creased in about five minutes, even with FYEye underneath. but the colors worked well together and they are very easy to apply.

I really liked this scent when I first tried it, but it seems to...come unglued...during the day. I can't really describe it, but it's just not for me. It is nice and light, a kind of "i just showered" fragrance.

Treatments -Neutrogena - Multi-Vitamin Acne Treatment [DISCONTINUED]

I like it! have repurchased several times, definitely helps to keep down the little whiteheads on my jawline, but does nothing for big zits, so I use BP. this and Persa-Gel give me really nice skin.

**EDITED** now I prefer L'Oreal Line Intensifique, but this is still nice. The only liquid liner I can use properly. The pen shape is easy to control. I have it in brown/black and I can always count on it to look great. Didn't smear or smudge on me, and I think I have pretty oily lids. The only thing is you have to SHAKE it every once in a while to get the product on the pen. Really, really great stuff.

Lip Gloss -Prestige - Vinylwear in Alloy

Wow, my first prestige product. The color's great, a neutral pinky-brown with a bit of shimmer in the tube but goes on pretty sheer. I think the tube is cute, and the wand doesn't get goopy, it deposits a proper amount of product. Lasting power is better than most lip-gloss, but seriously, could it smell any worse? BLAGH! Still, the price and product itself outweigh this. I bought mine at Rite-Aid for $3.99. Will buy more colors to suit my mood but this is the most wearable IMO.

Lips -Revlon - Line & Shine

Always on the lookout for 2 or 3-in one products, I had to try this. Was almost $10, but worth it. Has a nice lip-liner at one end, and a gloss at the other end with doe-foot type wand. Definitely easy to use.

Lips -Fira - Puzzled lip gloss
rated 3 of 5

Hmm...if you like lipgloss the consistency of vaseline, with glitter omnipresent and colors ranging from royal blue to mint green, this is for you. A cute concept with the palette shaped like either a puzzle with pieces or tetris squares. Definitely only for the young/young at heart.

Palettes -Fira - Cosmetic CDs
rated 3 of 5

Gosh, these people are rippin-off-high-end-cosmetics fools. Is supposed to be like LORAC CDs minus the blush I guess. Some of these are nice but some have downright scary color combos. A nice gift for your middle-school aged sister. Wouldn't be caught dead with one in my purse. Unfortunately the eyeshadows aren't close to LORAC's either, with a bit finer/dustier quality that almost makes them hurt when you brush them on.

Palettes -Fira - Face Collection
rated 3 of 5
epheme 8/14/2002 4:02:00 PM

Hmm...this is a knockoff of UD face cases. The shadows aren't quite up to the UD standards but then again there aren't huge chunks of glitter floating around in the Fira case either...comes in four palettes, with either a purple, pink, green/neutral, or gold vibe to choose from. The lipglosses sure don't live up to lip gunks either, but for less than $10, what do you expect? Looks cuter than it is, but the stuff inside isn't that great.
