I have been having trouble finding a blush I can use that has a touch of pink. For some reason, talc now gives me milia and I couldn't even use the Prescriptives rosy glow for some reason even though it had no talc! I saw a kit on sale at London Drugs for $12 which included this blush, a brush and 5 different mineral eyeshadows! I love them all! What a steal! I am going to buy another kit since this is a wonderful blush for the spring.

Scrubs -Derma E - Microdermabrasion Scrub

This is the best treatment! I am allergic to Sodium Laureth Sulfate and most scrubs make me break out and irritate my skin. I have been using this for two weeks and my skin is super soft. All the tiny milia I had from using blush with talc have cleared up and I had some small cysts under my chin which are gone! What a great find. I love using it.

I am allergic to shaving and my legs get SO itchy. This stuff has saved them. It lasts all day and is the best. I used it years ago and just started again a few months ago. Now I will never stop.

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals ALL

I used it for awhile but then found it didn't work all that well. It also took so long to buff and apply! I still use the Bare Vitamins skin revver upper. I like that and I am one of the few people who like the containers. I rinsed them out and use them with my Jane Iredale Powder Me sunblock. I switched to Smashbox Halo instead. I found that when I used the Mineral Vale I had blocked pores but with out it the ID doesn't stay on well. Edited to add that I used this on top of my Mac Studio Finish concealer with the concealer brush. It works well and with my Halo my skin looked really good all day! The concealer brush is the best. So overall not a bad product.

Toners -Clinique - Clarifying Lotion #3

I tried this years ago and my skin broke out so badly it was awful. This is not a good product unless you are the kind of person who can use motor oil on your skin and not have problems! The only good point is that it looks really nice.

Hair Color -Unlisted Brand - Herbatint - Permanent Haircolour Gel

I really like this product and alternate it with L'Oreal Colour Expert. You just need to make sure you have no products in your hair or it won't cover the gray. It doesn't smell at all and if you use the Royal Cream Conditioner it is just like a salon treatment.

I am surprised at the negative comments about this product. I have used this as a blond in Toasted Coconut and as my more natural light brown colour in Almond Rocca. The highlights were great! At first you may find they stand out a bit, but they blend beautifully after a few days. A cheap alternative to salon streaks! Even my hairdresser complimented my colour. I use half of the colour and all the streaks then just touch up the roots the next time. I would suggest only using the streaks every few months so you don't overdo it. I alternate with the natural hair colour from the health food store.

Cleansers -Neostrata - Multi-Activ Cleansing Milk 4 in 1

I have been using this for years and it is very good. I lather it up at night and then remove with cotton balls. You need to follow up with a toner and it works very well with the Neostrata line. If you don't use toner, then just use a cotton ball with cool water to ensure you remove all traces of makeup. Definitely a good product for all skin types! Does not dry out your skin or make it oily.

Cleansers -Earth Science - Clarifying Facial Wash

I have been using this for over a year for my oily skin. I use it in the morning and it feels so fresh and doesn't make me break out. It is non drying. It doesn't take off makeup so I use a different product at night. Definitely one of the best cleansers to get you going in the morning and no sodium laureth sulfate which I am allergic to!

Sunscreen -Jane Iredale - Powder-Me SPF Dry Sunscreen

This is the best product ever! I found it last Summer and have been using the tinted on my face every day. I have tons left and have some at work and some at home. I use it under my makeup and then as a blush. During the day I put it on to absorb oil and block out the sun. The great thing is that it works right away and feels wonderful. I was recently on a sailing trip and was wind burned. I put this on and followed with Smashbox Halo and looked ready to go out! The burn was gone. I love this product! I don't use the applicator though. I use my Bare Escentuals Full Coverage brush. A Kabuki works well too. Dermatologists have been recommending Jane Iredale for years! This stuff really works. You don't have to put a ton on. You should just re-apply when you are out in the sun as you should any sunblock.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Light

I started using this almost two months ago and it has changed the way I see myself! I have stupid scars along my smile lines that I hate and this product really helps fill them in and blend them. I was using Bare Minerals but I found it came off too easily with my oily skin. After trying this, I checked out Halo Hydrating Powder and was hooked on both! My skin looks so much better. I find the primer protects your skin from the harsh pollutants in the world. I find my skin tone has really improved with the two Smashbox products.

Treatments -Neostrata - Anti-Wrinkle Night Complex

I have been using this for years with my Neostrata oily and acne prone skin toner. They compliment each other and I love that my oily acne prone skin does well with this. I don't really know how well it works, but I do look much younger than I am and it is the only anti-aging serum I can use. It feels really nice and I just started using Derma E Scare Gel as a moisturizer which works really well with this too! Edit: I had stopped using this for several months but still had some left. My skin was starting to break out so I went back to this and it totally cleared up! This is great for acne prone aging skin!

Toners -Neostrata - Toning Solution (8%)

I have been using this for years. When I stop I break out! It is important to use it twice a day if you have acne. That way it will clear up your skin and prevent more problems. I had cystic acne in my twenties and this really was a HG for me. It is great as an anti-aging treatment as well! I always get it on sale and it does last a long time.

Moisturizers -Derma E - Derma E Scar Gel

I was at my local health store and saw this. I have always been scared to try thing for my scars which I've had for 20 years and were caused by cystic acne. They are along my smile lines and usually don't bother me, but sometimes they are all I can see. I have been using this for two weeks and not only have I already seen improvement but it is an awesome product for my oily skin! I saw some friends the other day and I had to tell them the name of this. It is a gel and feels so great on your skin. I would highly recommend it for any skin even if you don't have scars as it makes your face so soft and perfect. For scars people need to be realistic. I am happy with the results so far and will keep using this as a moisturizer! Edit: I am now on my second jar. I guess for people who are ultra sensitive it may be good to scoop the product out with a small spoon. I have found it really has helped clear up my skin and if I do get any zits the marks are gone within days! UPDATE JAN 31ST My scars are SO much better now. Really. I feel better about my skin than I ever have. This is the best stuff and I will continue to use it as a moisturiser.

I loved this product at first. I saw that it had talc in it, but I figured it would be okay on top of makeup and primer. I found I was getting tiny whiteheads in the areas where I applied it after just a week. I was worried it might be some other products I have been using like my Smashbox Halo and Photo finish light which I love, but when I stopped using the blush the dots went away. I just can't use talc! Otherwise I loved this blush! Just be aware of talc as it can be a leading cause of break outs for many people. It is in so many things even concealers and so called 'natural' products.
