Liquid -Maybelline - Fit Me Foundation

This was one of the worst foundations I've ever tried. The color was just so orangey looking (but aren't all Maybelline foundations orange looking?). I'm already oily skinned & I feel like this made me 10x oilier when I had it on. The coverage wasn't good at all & the smell of it was just disgusting. After it being on my face for an hour, I still smelled it! I don't recommend this.

Foundations -Cover FX - COVER FX

I need a foundation with a lot of coverage. I have deep red scars on my cheeks from past acne that I need to cover up. I was told this would be the best foundation to use for that. I watched YouTube videos, I read reviews & unfortunately I fell into the hype of it. I finally went out & bought it. I couldn't wait to use it since everyone was saying such wonderful things about it. This foundation on my face was a complete nightmare. It gives coverage but in such an unnatural looking way. I tried to apply it every way possible & still got the same result. I really was not impressed at all.

Concealers -Hard Candy - Glamoflauge Concealer

I was using Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer for over a year & I actually really liked it. I was tired of spending so much money on it though. I saw this concealer & it's the same size as the Tattoo Concealer with just a huge difference in price. I never tried anything by Hard Candy before, so I gave it go. First thing I wanna say is.... A LITTLE BIT GOES A LONG WAY. It is thick & if you use more than a tiny drop it can look a bit ridiculous, so be careful. I like this better than the Tattoo Concealer, it covers better & it lasts longer. I like it in the color light for under my eyes but when I try to cover some scars on my cheeks I feel it looks too light for that. I will be picking this up in a shade a little darker & see how it goes for my cheek area.

Mascara -Prestige - My Biggest Lashes

I naturally have very long thick eyelashes. I am constantly getting asked what brand of fake lashes I have on( which I can't help but always laugh at being that they're real), but I'm always trying new mascara's. I was placing an order on Ulta & I stumbled upon this because they were having a sale on Prestige cosmetics. I ended up getting 2 of them for I think $7 or $8. I fell completely in love the second I put it on. My already long beautiful lashes looked even more long and beautiful. It really adds a lot of length & thickness to them. I also noticed I stopped using my eyelash curler when I started using this. It may sound weird but I noticed when I apply it my lashes start to curl on their own. This is my absolute favorite mascara & as long as they make it I will continue to purchase it.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

My search for a moisturizer that will wow me & be everything I need is continued being that this completely failed. I'm oily skinned and was told this was "amazing". This did absolutely nothing at all for my skin. My skin actually felt overly dry after using it. It also started giving me little pimples all over the day after. It really was a waste of money for me.

Powder -Maybelline - PureStay Powder Foundation

I've been searching & searching for an amazing foundation that would cover all of my dark red acne scars. I prefer powder over liquid because my skin is an oily mess. I saw this for only $6 & decided to give it a try being that I've tried everything else from drug stores & was still searching. Nothing to lose for $6 right? I absolutely loved it as soon as I put it on. It gave me full coverage, completely covered all my scars & made my skin look smooth & flawless. The best way to apply it is with the sponge it comes with. I wish I could find those exact sponges sold somewhere. It's the best, softest sponge I've ever used. I was in complete love! However, that did not last long. My face broke out in HUGE (I do mean HUGE) cystic pimples. I've worked extremely hard on keeping my acne at bay being that I've struggled with it for years & this completely brought it all back. Two months later here I am still trying to heal from the break out this make up caused. It's a shame because I had finally found everything I wanted in a powder foundation. I gave it a 5 because it honestly deserves that. If I didn't break out the way I did, I would still be using it & this would be my HG foundation.
