I never appreciated my L'Occitane soaps until I moved on. I'm trying to use up stuff before buying other products. I used another line for quite some thime when I finally ran out. I had one bar of the Sweet Lemon I received as a gift. So I decided to use it. The scent was just divine. Not overbearingly lemony, but refreshing instead. I just finished it and moved on to something to use up. Oh my! I have to drench my skin in moisturizers when I'm done. My skin had felt so good using this I actually forgot to apply any moisturizer and my skin didn't miss it! I must go back to my local L'Occitane and try more of these wonderful soaps!!!!

Skincare - Face -DHC - Acerola Gel

THANK YOU! I found the perfect daytime moisturizer for my combo skin in the warmer months! This is greasy, dries rapidly and doesn't turn my makeup a different color. When I first used this I was wondering if it was doing anything for my skin at all because it is so light. But this has done wonders in combination with the Olive Virgin Oil (which I use at night). My skin is improving week by week the longer I use this impressive line!

Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Bottle

Hope in WHAT bottle? That's my question for Philosphy. I'm sorry for $33 I don't expect to have to use something for years before my skin clears up considering I don't break out that much anymore! There are many other great products for a LOT less that have performed miracles on my skin. I think the "purging" quote I got from the company is their way of covering up that this doesn't work. I don't mind a month or two of "purging", but 6-7 months is beyond ridiculous. I've found my HG in HABA and DHC right now and haven't had any issues with severe breakouts and cystic acne with those lines like I have Philosophy.

Fragrances -Philosophy - Falling in Love

I just adore this scent. Cotton Candy is a wonderful description and the blackberry really comes through with drying time. However, it simply didn't last on me. I found myself having to use four times as much as any other fragrance which drastically disappoints me since I love the smell so much!

Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

All I have to say is, Thank Goodness I've used all this up now and will never have to use it again! I used this for 4 months last year hoping my skin would get used to it since so many raved about it. I spent even more money on acne treatments. This definitely isn't the line for me. Almost everything I've tried isn't what I expect from this price range! I went back to my beloved HABA & DHC skincare lines and never will look back! I don't know why I do that to myself.

Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - Pied de Pepper Foot Cream

Okay, be forwarned, Vanja is right. This SUPER SPICY smelling. If your not into deep earthy spices beware. I, however, ADORE spicy scents! I actually bought this for the DH. His feet are VERY dry and nasty. When he uses this in the a.m. & p.m. on his feet consistently they look, feel and smell wonderful (foot odor is a problem for him too, poor guy). I ended up using it on my feet because I do a lot more walking and my feet were drying out too. It's truly amazing what this has done for me! You don't need much, a little goes a long way. So we haven't experienced any staining problems either. But I leave my feet hang over the side of the bed for about 2-5 minutes before I crawl under the sheets. I've even worn white cotton socks right after application with no problems. I rub the excess on my elbows and knees and had great success too. Some of the scent transferred to my sheets and they smell spicy/sexy too (alas, it washed out though). DH keeps some pre-moistened hand wipes on his nightstand because he doesn't like the smell on his hands all night. This way his feet don't mess up the floors and he doesn't lose the product into the carpet.

Misc Beauty Tools -DHC - Hinoki Polishing Facial Brush

This brush is great. I managed to buy it on sale and am going back to order another one before the sale ends. I don't think I'd pay the full price for this, but on sale it's okay. I like the outer bristles being a little stiffer than the inside bristles. When I first felt this it was dry and I thought it was going to tear my skin apart. But the bristles get soft when damp and do an amazing job! I still keep my Sheseido cleansing brush around for the days I use my home chemical peel so I don't over exfoliate and cause my skin to be super irritated.

Toners -DHC - Mild Lotion

One of the things I truly appreciate with DHC is the ability to refine everyday useful ingredients suitable for skincare. I love how this toner returns my skin to it's natural Ph balance without over doing it. Nothing fancy, just great natural ingredients combined to achieve fantastic results. My tone, brightness and overall appearance has dramatically improved. This has a lovely, very light (you really have to sniff hard) smell too. Has a very calming affect on my combo skin!

Moisturizers -DHC - Olive Virgin Oil

A remarkable moisturizer! My skin has never looked better. I would caution if your like me and tend to be normal/oily in warmer weather or just oily all the time, don't use this during the day. In the winter I got away with this in the a.m. and p.m. Now that it's warmer my makeup turned colors just like when my skin was oily at age 16. When I cut it out all together my skin did worsen slightly, so the antioxidents are fantastic for my skin, I just have to limit it to the evening. The other thing I did was modify where I apply it first. I use 1-2 pumps and start with my declotte, neck and than my face. This really reduces most of the product ending up on my face. My neck is dry and this really improved the overall appearance.

Cleansers -DHC - Mild Cleansing Soap

A super follow up to the deep cleansing oil! My face, neck and declotte have never looked better. I have normal/dry skin during the winter and normal/oily during the warmer months. This has survived all climates so far. My face does feel a little tight when it's drier, however, the Mild Toner brings it right back to the comfortable zone again. My sample had a more "soapy" smell, but the actual full size product smells divine with the honey and olive oil. At first I thought it was a lot of money for soap, but I'm not even a quarter of the way through after 4 months of 2 times a day! I'm so grateful I ran out of my usual skincare, otherwise I would've skipped right over this amazing line!

Skincare - Face -L'Occitane - After Shave Balm

Another hit for the hubby. He loves the original and the new Cade too. Now I get to freely shop at L'Occitane, as long as I come home with his treats too. Between the Shave Balm and the After Shave Balm his face has dramatically improved.

Cleansers -DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil

Absolutely the best makeup (no matter how easy or stubborn) deep cleansing product I've used. I was incredibly surprised it left to oily residue on my face at all. It rinsed off easily with no rubbing or mess. It quickly dissolved all makeup (including waterproof mascara) and passed my white towel test too. It does slightly sting if you get it in your eye, but nothing like other eye makeup removers I've used. I would recommend contact lens wearers remove their lenes first or use a cotton swab or puff to clean the eye area than rinse. I've used a Q-tip to dip into the oil to aid in removing those makeup mistakes too. Comes in handy for your feet too if your yoga or martial arts class get your feet dirty!

Lipstick -DHC - Lip Creation Lip Trial Sets

I agree, other companies should follow suit here! These are great and for a low price I get to sample the right colors for me to put into DHC's palette! I have dry lips so I don't have any issues with running or bleeding and found some lovely colors too. The choices are nice and so far every color I've worn I've been complimented on. So for $3.00 give it a go!

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Alkmaar Soap

On the LUSH forum this is described as Silky Underwear in soap form. Whoever said that was correct! I love SU and this only enhanced that. I'm very funky about soaps since they tend to dry me out. But this one not only smelled good but didn't super dry me out either. It's not real moisturizing, so if that's what your looking for, this isn't it. But it's a great layering scent for SU. I still have to use a light unscented body lotion (now if they made that with this scent I'd be in HEAVEN). I enjoy this on my "dates" with DH. Between American Cream, Alkamaar and SU he simply can't resist!

Conditioner -LUSH - American Cream

I just simply ADORE this. So does my DH. I can't keep his nose away from me when I use this. I do enjoy LUSH's bath & hair products. If you pick the right ones for you they are truly amazing IMHO. The vanilla/strawberry combo does wonders on my fine chemically processed hair. Even my hairdresser told me she wouldn't recommend anything since what I'm using does an amazing job on my hair (it's all LUSH baby!). My hair is glossy and soft and never weighed down by this conditioner. Which is amazing to me, I thought with as heavy as this was it would not be easy for me to obtain any kind of volume. I'm absolutely taken by the results and smell!
