Brows -E.L.F. - Eyebrow Lifter & Filler
gazelma 5/21/2013 2:24:00 AM
I'm mainly rating for the highlighter portion of this product. It does what it says it does. It acts like a "push up bra" for the brows! I'm not impressed with the filler, but I was never a fan of pencils like these. It's a bit too harsh and I feel like I don't have control like with a brush. I don't care much for the sharpener but I suppose it can be handy for some. I don't like the packaging much because the caps tend to fall off. Oh, and the pencils (the "lead") breaks a lot when I sharpen it, very crumbly. I would not purchase this again.

Eye Makeup Remover -E.L.F. - Makeup Remover Pen
gazelma 5/21/2013 2:22:00 AM
This stuff is shit, imho. It doesn't remove my eyeliner if I make a mistake and the product gets caught on the tip and makes more of a mess than needed. Maybe I am just inept at using the product, but I know that I won't be using it. I'd rather just take a Q-tip and some water/remover and do it myself.

Treatments -E.L.F. - Shine Eraser Blotting Sheets
gazelma 5/21/2013 2:20:00 AM
I guess it ... blots? I feel like I have to use plenty because it seems more thin than other blotting sheets I use. I am also annoyed because of the colour. I am not sure if I caught oil or not because the sheet itself is nearly transparent. You need to hold it up on the light to see if there's oil. The price is good for what it is and it does its job but that's one of my gripes. My brother adores this stuff and always asks me if I have a spare package, haha.

Treatments -E.L.F. - Zit Eraser
gazelma 5/21/2013 2:17:00 AM
$3. Great to have on hand. Put it in your purse, whatever. It is slick and nice. I like how you can twist the bottom to dispense the product (unlike the zit eraser for $1) and put as much as you want on your zit area. When I feel like a zit is going to pop up, I rub it on the area, and ta da, no zit the next day! No irritated skin! It does have a smell but I'm not sure what - kind of like tea tree oil or something? I have had no problems with how much it lasts. I've been overusing mine and there's still plenty of product.

Moisturizers -E.L.F. - Daily Moisture Stick
gazelma 5/21/2013 2:15:00 AM
It really moisturises, but it is no match for my elbows (which ELF says you can use it on). I use it mainly for the face after I shower or do my beauty routine and it keeps my oily face moisturised without making me break out. I do wish this had more product but it is in the end around $3-$6? It has no scent which is a plus.

Lip Treatments -E.L.F. - Studio Lip Exfoliator
gazelma 5/21/2013 2:13:00 AM
Amazing product. I really exfoliates and scrubs the dead skin right off my lips! It is a very chic packaging, nice price point, and it tastes great. Like brown sugar maple or something. It also has an adequate amount of product in the tube. Leaves my lips nice and smooth for nice lipstick application later. Highly recommended, it's much neater than doing a homemade sugar scrub.

Lip Treatments -E.L.F. - Studio Line Lip Primer & Plumper
gazelma 5/21/2013 2:11:00 AM
As with most of the ELF studio lines, this is a cheap product and nice packaging. $3, I believe. I wish I could like it because I have really pink lips but I find this primer doesn't do much for me. It's just a nude lipstick that easily smudges and makes a mess. I don't use the plumper because I have really plump lips already, so that's kind of a waste. To be quite honest I would not buy this again. Not everything from ELF can be perfect though, right?

Brows -E.L.F. - Eyebrow Kit
gazelma 5/21/2013 2:09:00 AM
Perfect, perfect, perfect. Even when I use higher end products from Benefit or Anastasia, I always come back to this. I own multiple in the darkest colour and keep one in my school bags or purse in case I am without it. This lasts a long time and doesn't fail to keep my brows looking bold and perfect. Again, at $3, this is a total bargain - I always stock up online because it usually sells out in my colour. Cute sleek packaging too. Also, I don't really use the brushes provided for me, I use my own.

Blush -E.L.F. - Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
gazelma 5/21/2013 2:07:00 AM
I own Nars Orgasm and imho, it's not THAT great of a dupe but this is comparable and great on its own. At first I was frightened because when I applied it, it looked so strong on my face! So you need a light hand with this and a little goes a long way. Perhaps a stippling brush? I dab some on my hand before applying on my cheeks. I always get compliments on my makeup wearing this! I have a fat round face and I get the appearance that I have cheekbones. For $3, this is a great product, and I hope they never stop making it. Compared to years ago ELF has been stepping up their game with their products.

Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Studio Makeup Mist & Set Spray
gazelma 5/21/2013 2:05:00 AM
I will always keep buying this. It smells okay, package is nice, price is great, and it does its job. My makeup doesn't budge all day (in combination with other products). Highly recommended, especially at $3.

Eye Primer -E.L.F. - Eyelid Primer
gazelma 5/21/2013 2:04:00 AM
Packaging and price is great ($1). However, the product itself could be better. I find it did not help at all with my oily lids and my eye makeup creased. Perhaps oily lid people should look elsewhere. I use the ELF studio eyelid primer and it works much better than this.

Blush -E.L.F. - Studio Blush in Candid Coral
gazelma 5/21/2013 2:02:00 AM
Love the packaging. Reminds me of Nars. The powder could be better, but for $3 I'm not complaining. It's a bit too loose. It's also very pigmented in my opinion so a little goes a long way. I find this to be the case with most elf studio blushes. however, this is a nice peachy coral colour which is great for tanned skin tones.

Mascara -MISSHA - Mascara Base
gazelma 5/21/2013 1:59:00 AM
My favourite. On the Missha Canada website it's $8.99, or on sale for $5.99 as of right now. It really curls and lengthens my lashes. However you should use this wet, and pile it on, before putting on your mascara. If it dries it'll be hard to coat over the white stuff. This is a staple in my makeup bag and a HG mascara primer of mine. Do yourself a favour and get it! :)

Mascara -E.L.F. - Wet Gloss Lash and Brow Clear Mascara
gazelma 5/21/2013 1:57:00 AM
For $1, this is great. The packaging is nice and the product is adequate for its use. With that said, I use this both for mascara and brows. I find its a bit too sticky for my liking for my brows, even when dried a bit. However, comparing it to say, $25++ for the Anastasia clear brow gel, this ELF version is a good cheap substitute. The mascara thing is good too, to prime lashes. I do use higher-end products but this is great for having a spare or going to travel, or the gym if you want to save your more expensive products. Definitely recommended!

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Pineapple Grunt soap
gazelma 5/20/2013 11:56:00 PM
Doesn't lather much. But it smelled amazing (not too much like pineapple, more like a pina colada? had coconut hints in it.) which lasted for quite a while on the skin. The soap also lasted a long time too, more than a month and I used it everyday.
