Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Rose Lip Treatment SPF 15

I don't know why this product gets so many rave reviews. It dried my lips out to the point of peeling. At times it was like putting raw rubbing alcohol on my lips. :(
Styling Products -Got 2 Be - Kinkier gloss 'n' define curling mousse

I bought this thinking it would enhance my curls and waves and it did a mediocre job. It also did not provide the hold I was expecting.
Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Expert Face Brush

Oh Em Gee. I love this brush. I wish they made this brush before the MAC 187 skunk brush craze. This brush applies foundation like a charm giving me the airbrushed finish. If you like the buffer brush from the Core Collection, this one is even better because you can also apply cream brushes as well. I purchased mine at ULTA with my $3.50 off coupon and it was BOGO 1/2 off.
I have extremely oily acne prone sensitive skin. This foundation remained matte for a maximum of 5 hours on my skin. Like every foundation, it looks really pretty the first 15 minutues after applying but it didn't stay pretty for long. Not HG status for me. I will stick to EL DoubleWear and Revlon Colorstay. This one is best for combination skin that gets oily only around the T zone but I wouldnt recommend for very very oily skintypes like myself. Not too expensive but I rather get a better performing foundation for the money.
Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - Proclaim - Argan Oil Intense Hydrating Masque

Just left this masque on for about 4 hours and it did an "ok" job at moisturizing and adding slip but nothing major to merit 5 lippies. Thank goodness I only had a sample pack and didn't purchase an entire tub. I will stick to my L'oreal Mega Moisture Conditioning Treatment.
Conditioner -Organix - Brazilian Keratin Therapy Conditioner
tualmarebelde 2/29/2012 11:04:00 AM
Tried it this morning and it made my hair frizzy and dry. This conditioner didn't provide any slip or moisture to my thick wavy hair. I would not repurchase nor recommend to anyone with my type of hair.
Although I love my nudes, this one just doesn't perk up my skin tone. I am NC 35- NC40 (summer). This is more suitable for lighter cool toned ladies. For now, I will keep it till I run out. I prefer OPI Privacy Please to Bubble Bath. (tad overrated too)
Ok, so like may Makeupalley fans here, I love the pixowoo girls on youtube, but this brush collection is well, OK, but not amazing. Here is why: Detailer brush: cute very small pointed brush I would use for concealing or placing shimmery eyeshadow in the inner corner of the eye where the tear duct is, that is pretty much it. Pointed foundation brush: this brush is wayyyy to small for foundation unless you are putting foundation on a toddler. I expected the pixiwoo girls to at least design one for a human adult face like the Louise Young brush they use and love so much. Buffing brush: Great brush. Dense and applies mineral and liquid foundation like a dream. This one I truly like. Contour brush: Again, you can use this to contour and even apply blush or highlighter lightly and even use it to buff your foundation in. Overall, the price is great but not worth the hype. It does come in a cute case but my disappointment is expecting the "gurus" to come out with something to knock your socks off. These brushes are essentially similar to EcoTools in that they are synthetic so choose carefully, some are great and others are well....mediocre.

Cute concept, dense and large but for a synthetic brush it is incredibly rough and scratchy. I would go for EcoTools over this one.
This is such a classic dark wine red. Better than the Lincoln Park After Dark goth color look. Office friendly, doesn't attract a huge amount of craziness to your nails. Looks very polished and classy. Vampy but not trashy, definitely a staple! (NC 35, for reference)
I am not a perfume connoisseur. What I do know is that I hate and I mean hate fruity scents. It totally clashes with my body chemistry. But this, CHLOE is the best stuff ever!!!!! I agree with everyone here, it just smells like CLASS, not trash. :-)
I love how it holds a curl in my lashes but absolutely hate the way it smudges. Not only in heat and humidity but also in cold weather. Might be my oily skin but there are drugstore brands that do a better job at a fraction of the cost.
Sorry to be the minority but I can't rave about this item as being a dupe for Nars Albatross. NARS Albatross is a finely milled powder. ELF's Gotta Glow on the other hand has a harder texture which makes it difficult to blend. I give them 2 lippies for trying but if you are looking for quality and long lasting performance I would just buy Albatross which will last you a lot longer than a MAC Blush and help you achieve the look you are looking for! Hope this helps someone! :-)
Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Last Salon Nail Color - Disturbia 217
tualmarebelde 9/20/2010 5:48:00 PM
Love love love this color. Great value for the price. Like others said, the brush leaves a lot to be desired. It is too small for lonnggg nails, might work best for short to medium nails If you want to achieve a beautiful purple color I would only use 2 coats, if you use 3 then you might get a darker and more black effect. Wet n Wild polishes might chip after 4 or 5 days but I think it matters what top coat you use as well. Overall this a beautiful fall color and looks very polished and chic on short fingernails. Cheap but effective thrill! LOL
Conditioner -Bumble & Bumble - Creme de Coco conditioner

I give this conditioner a 3 for it's moisturizing properties. It really does moisturize dry damaged hair. It, however does not provide slip or control frizz so you will need a serum afterwards. It also does not detangle your hair in the shower so because of this I took off 2 lippies. I also took off lippies for price. It is just too expensive. I got it as a gift, thank goodness, but would never purchase.
