Eye Primer -NARS - Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base

I'm pretty happy with this product. I have tried many shadow primers, including UDPP and TFSI. UDPP used to work amazingly well for me. However, after it was repackaged, I no longer find it to be as effective. This has been a pretty good replacement. I tried it originally because of the excellent reviews and I am happy that I did. It keeps my eye makeup on well. I will notice some slight wear after about 5-6 hours, but that is pretty decent for me and my oily eyelids. I'm not in love with the wand packaging, but its something that I can live with. The price is slightly more than what I normally pay for shadow primer, but only by a few dollars. All in all, I am happy with my purchase. I will buy again when I run out.
Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Georgia ] ] [DISCONTINUED]

First of all, the packaging is great. I love Benefit's boxed powders and figured I would love this one as well. I like Georgia, but I definitely do not love it. It makes an ok finishing powder, but there is no way I could use this as a blush. I'm pretty pale (NW15) and this did not provide much color at all. I will continue to use this as a finishing powder to set my makeup and perk up my collection. However, its pretty useless as a blush.
This is the best bronzer that I have used, and I have tried many. The texture is great and blends effortlessly into the skin. Also, the color works very well with my NW15 skin. You can dust it lightly for a hint of color, or you can use a more dense brush and build up to a deeper shade. It doesn't pull orange on me either, just a nice natural tan shade. I will def repurchase if I run out, which will take a while since you get tons of product in the packaging :)
Palettes -Urban Decay - Book of Shadows Vol. II [DISCONTINUED]

This is an AMAZING palette. I saw it in Ulta and knew I had to have it. I was sad to have missed out on the first Book of Shadows, so when I saw that there was a second volume, I was super excited. The price of the palette may seem a bit high at almost fifty dollars, but when you think about what you are getting, its actually an amazing value. One individual Urban Decay shadow retails for 16 dollars. In this palette, you are getting 16 shadows and spending under fifty dollars. I'd say that's a pretty awesome deal. You get a generous amount of each shadow in the palette, much more than you get in the UD shadow boxes. As for the quality of the shadows, Urban Decay has some of the best shadows you can buy. Most are a slightly shimmery, but not too much so. There are a few that are quite glittery, but they look beautiful on the eye if used correctly and with a primer. The shadows blend like a dream and with sixteen different shades, you can create TONS of different looks. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a great value and who wants to add some variety to their makeup stash.
Mascara -Yves Saint Laurent - Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils
smm9032 2/9/2010 2:35:00 PM
I was so excited to try this mascara based on the reviews here. I love Diorshow mascara, but was looking to try something new, so I gave this a shot. The packaging is absolutely beautiful. I wish the quality of the mascara itself measured up to the packaging, but it does not. My lashes are already pretty long, but they have no volume. I know many people had success with Faux Cils, but it does not work at all with my lashes. With this mascara, my lashes clump together badly. Even after combing through with a lash comb, my lashes do not look right. I also found the formula to dry out quickly, which is a huge problem since it costs 28 dollars. Although the scent of the mascara is nice, I find it a bit overwhelming for a mascara. Overall, I would not purchase this again. I guess I'll be sticking to Diorshow for now.
This is such a pretty gloss. I was happy when I recieved this as a gift from a good friend because I have been wanting to try it. I like it a lot. The color is a very pretty pale pink that is flattering against my fair skin. The gloss feels comfortable on my lips as well. It is neither sticky or drying. I also like the fact that the gloss is completely free of any gross odor or taste. Although not a plumping gloss, my lips looks so much smoother and plumper after applying Turkish Delight. I would gladly repurchase this great gloss again :)
Pressed Powders -MAC - Beauty Powder - Pretty Baby

I loved the adorable packaging so much that I decided to give this powder a try. I found it at the CCO for a good price so I didn't mind trying the product. The powder itself is ok. Its not great. Its not terrible. In fact, I didn't find that it did much of anything for my NW15 skin. It works to help keep shine away, but that's it. For the price I found it for, I will keep using it as a mattifying powder. However, I would never pay regular retail price for this powder.
This is one of the best palettes that I have ever purchased. I bought the natural eye palette for myself after using it on a client. They loved it and so did I. The shadows are very wearable and the quality is fantastic. They blend effortlessly and are more pigmented than other pricy shadows. The price is also pretty reasonable since you are getting 9 gorgeous shades for $34.00. This is definitely worth purchasing :)
Bronzers -Stila - Stila Sun SPF 15 Bronzing Powder - Shade 02
smm9032 6/15/2009 6:44:00 PM
This is a great bronzer. I have it in shade 2 and I love it. The effect is subtle, but I still notice it. The packaging is quite nice as well. This is one of the few bronzers that I have tried and loved.
This is one of my favorite lip products right now. This stuff definitely makes my lips feel fuller, without the stinging which is caused by some plumping products. The size is pretty big as well. I will most likely repurchase this.
I love this palette. The colors are very pretty and work perfectly together. The quality of Stila's eyeshadows rivals MAC. They blend nicely and have just the right amount of shimmer. I will buy this palette again and again.
Tinted Moisturizer -Stila - Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer
smm9032 6/15/2009 6:37:00 PM
For a tinted moisturizer, I feel that this gives decent coverage. The product does what it claims and illuminates the skin nicely. I had no problem with breakouts when using this either. I really like using this TM under a mineral powder. The price is high, but im considering purchasing again.
This is a pretty average liquid eyeliner. I find application to be a bit difficult. The color is a good shade of black, but the product fades a bit throughout the day. I most likely will not repurchase.
Bronzers -Too Faced - Pink Leopard Bronzing Powder
smm9032 6/15/2009 6:31:00 PM
I got the mini version of this bronzer for only 12 dollars. I love this as a highlighter for my cheekbones. Its a bit too subtle to wear alone as a blush. Also, the product itself and the packaging are adorable. I would definitely consider buying again.
I agree that this concealer is not great for the undereye area. However, I love this concealer for covering blemishes on my face. The texture is creamy and blends easily for a natural looking finish. This covers much better than other concealers that I have tried.
