this lotion is ridiculous. i have sahara desert skin on my legs; nothing has EVER worked. after my shower, i put about a quarter-sized amount on my legs and work it in. it absorbs super quickly and doesn't leave a greasy film at all. in about 5 minutes, my legs are completely smooth and soo soft! i even use this on my face and it does an amazing job without causing breakouts. i'm usually too lazy to lotion after my shower, but this absorbs so quickly, i never have to worry about getting it on my clothes!

great mascara! got this in a swap and haven't stopped using it since. makes my wimpy lashes long and dark. only problem is that it does smudge on me, i haven't found a mascara that doesnt smudge! (except for that kiss me one that makes the tubes around your lashes.) can't imagine how amazing this would look on thick lashes!

Shampoo -LUSH - BIG

I'm on my second tub of this and I love it! I have super fine/thin/oily hair that can't last a day without washing. seriously. i could never style it, curl it, or ANYTHING without it being a gigantic pain in the ass. a friend of mine told me to start the "no-poo" regimen and stop using drugstore shampoos (in my case, head & shoulders) i finally came on MUA and saw the reviews for this and decided to give it a try because while i was not ready to give up washing my hair, i was willing to try something without harsh chemicals and completely natural. boy, was i glad i tried it!! the first couple of times i used it my hair was soo soft and shiny to the point where my guy friends would be like, whoa...it's like a pantene commercial! i knew then that i had stumbled upon something amazing. while it didn't give me penelope cruz-esque volume, i did notice more lift at my roots and my hair seemed to feel thicker, not so flat and boring. it definitely leaves your hair with that squeaky clean feeling and it's a good idea to at least condition the ends because it does tend to leave those a little dry. i do think my hair got spoiled by BIG because it doesn't seem to look as thick as when i first started, (but still crazyyy shiny and soft), so i'm alternating between regular shampoo and BIG and also trying to shampoo only every other day, which if you knew me or my hair rather, that would've been unheard of! Also, a little goes a LONG way with this shampoo. i use about a dime size amount and it lathers up really nicely! oh, remember to massage into your scalp for volume! def worth a trip to LUSH for a sample. =)

i'm soo glad i got this. i usually go for the dark colors like chanel's vamp or a deep purple, but i couldn't resist a hot yellow for summer! I thought it'd be a little weird looking on my skintone since i'm asian, but it looks great! at least i think so. =) the color is really bright yellow-y gold..just looking at my nails makes me smile!

I LOVE this scent. It's very delicate and light. I'm into light floral-y scents; none of that sweet stuff for me. My only gripe is the lasting power, but I love each note of this! And the bottle is so adorable.

OH. MY. GOOODNESS. This has to be one of my absolute favorites from mac. I use it every single day now. I'm not a make-up fanatic or artist, but this stuff is foolproof. I was scared of the color being too dark but it's just perfect. The color is sheer and buildable so that you can see exactly how much contour (or blush) you are creating. I use this under my cheekbones and underneath my jawline and it makes my face look defined, but not in a drag queen way. at all. it looks amazing with global glow, btw. must try!!

Eyes -MAC - Smoke Signals Gentle Fume Quad

I've been thinking about getting this palette for a while because I wasn't sure that the colors would work on me. Finally, I decided what the heck and just bought it. I'm so SO glad I did. This palette is soo versatile; the colors are amazing! I start with rondelle all over my lid, with gentle fume half way out( middle of lid to outer corner), carbon quarter way out and wing it a little. I blend the gentle fume and carbon (becomes almost dark blue-ish) and finally I use waft to bring rondelle (in the front) and all the other colors together. I'm trying other ways of using this palette, but right now I'm gonna be late for work!

This is a great great color. Purply gold?? Doesn't that just sound delish? Anyhow, I really do want to love this, but my only gripe is the chunky glitter bits. It gets ALL over my face! The color is really very pretty and shows up a lot more when wet. I've been looking forward to this collection for a long time, but I have to say, I'm just a little disappointed..damn chunks!

I picked this up because it was on sale at walgreens for 2 and change. The color looked pretty cute in the bottle, but I never anticipated that it would look just as cute on my nails but it does! It took me about 5 seconds to do my left hand just now, and all it took was one coat, but I'm a two coat girl, so after this review, I'm putting on another. The consistency is great, it's on the thin side, but the color is def not compromised. It's also easier to apply. (Esp compared to my chanel polishes, some of those things are just crap.)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Cranberry eye shadow

I cannot stop using this!!! I got this with clair de lune from the moonbathe collection and I really love this color. It's the perfect red/pink I've been looking for. It's shimmery and oh-so-pretty. It's more like a dark rosy pink and doesn't look freaky if applied right. And I only apply it right half the time! But still it's really very pretty and it fades to a nice color at the end of the night...ahh this is a bad review. All you need to know is that I love it, and it's worth a try at the mac store! =)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Claire de Lune

The second I heard of this new e/s from the Moonbathe collection, I knew I had to have it. Clair De Lune is one of my favorite pieces of music. I ran my ass off to the nearest MAC (I do this often) which was the counter at Macy's. Let it be known that MAC store MAs >>>> Macy's MAC MAs. Anyhoo, I saw this and didn't know if i wanted it. The color was so light and when I tried some on my hand, it was eh. But I bought it anyway with cranberry, because it was clair de lune. I tried it the next morning for school, and I LOVED IT. It blends so perfectly with cranberry as though the two colors were made for each other. CDL is one of those e/s that looks like a different color when you look at it from different angles. It was like a very light version of cranberry from some angles and from others it was pretty much invisible, but it does brighten up the eyes. I probably wouldn't repurchase, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts. I get tired of stuff so quickly, but this color just seems really versatile. I'll try to get some pics up! =)

Highlighters -MAC - Barbie - Pearl Sunshine

How can you not love something called Pearl Sunshine?! It sounds beautiful and looks beautiful too. I ran my ass to MAC about 2 weeks ago to grab this and luckily, they still had it. I didn't open it until i got home, and when I did, I was a bit put off. The color was so light! I didn't think it would show on my light asian skin. So the next morning, I swiped some on and wow! it totally glowed on my skin. I have huge pores and oily skin, my sunscreen helps a bit and this powder helps me not look so washed out. My friend even complimented me, saying my skin looked smoother! =)) There's no glitter and the shimmer is so so fine, there's nothing like it. I use this all the time even when my cheeks are rosy from the sun cuz this stuff is just magic! But!! it might not work for everyone, so I suggest you try it out at the store first, if you can find it.

This is my HG red nail polish. Actually, it's HG in general. It's the most beautiful red ever. It's kind of metallic but in the best way. The color is so rich and there is shimmer, which i normally can do without, but it is just so beautiful to wear. In the light, the color simply comes to life and is just magnificent!! This is a definite must-have. I hope they never stop making this!!!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Elaborate

I can't believe no one reviewed this!! I got this along with En Pointe and decided to keep this one. The color is described as "Soft low karat gold with pearl" it's soo pretty. I have fairly pigmented lips, and this stuff goes on soo pretty. It has shimmery little glitter flecks on it. I know some people don't like that, but I don't mind at all! You can easily layer this over any lipstick or color to add a little sparkle. It is sticky like the other lipglasses, but it sooo doesn't matter cuz it's gorgeous! It's LE so hopefully you get to try it/buy it b4 it runs out!! I'm thinking of getting a backup, but I have a thing about getting tired of stuff quickly so maybe not. I'm definitely considering it though!

I got this after reading the reviews and I'm so glad I did. I tried it once and put it away and recently started using it again. Now I use it everyday! It's really pigmented so a little goes a long way and the color is really very pretty on me (asian). I can't go a day without it! I got blushing petal, btw!
