Masks -SKII - Facial Whitening Mask
shirfene 9/18/2005 10:35:00 PM
SKII products are ridiculously expensive, bought this 6 piece mask for HK480 at DFS. Results? yeap, very good, leaves my skin feel soft and toned. It's very moisturising, too. However, if you seriously considering spending over HKD80 per mask session regularly, maybe its not necessary. There are many other brands that come out with this kind of paper mask nowadays, much cheaper too..

Shampoo -Kerastase - Bain Reflection 2
shirfene 9/8/2005 12:28:00 AM
I think I pick the wrong one, should have get the Bain Miroir 1 instead (maybe?). Bain Miroir 2 is a non foaming shampoo, if you're expecting a deep cleansing shampoo, this is not the one. does it protect hair color? sorta, but i find absolutely nothing special about it, over rated! I'm a big fan of the Nutritive range though, Reflection range is just not for me I guess.

Conditioner -Origins - Happy Endings Conditioner
shirfene 9/6/2005 7:31:00 PM
I like the citrus scent, and thats about it I guess. It didnt help moisturising my dry hair at all, could work well as a conditioner for normal hair but definitely not for dry hair. Need extra conditioning? go for something else.

Treatments -Kerastase - Masque Oleo-Relax
shirfene 4/10/2005 6:50:00 AM
For some reasons, Oleo relax mask is more expensive than Masquintense. I prefer masquintense though, as it gave me softer and much manageable hair. Oleo relax is good when my hair is stressed, a good treatment once in a while, whereas masquintense is a staple for at least twice a week, in my opinion anyway. Rave for Kerastase once again.

Lotions/ Creams -Origins - Reinventing The Heel
shirfene 4/10/2005 6:45:00 AM

A thicker version of 'Step Lively', good for cracked feet. I prefer this to Step Lively because I have really dry feet, it's non oily and yet moisturising. Heavy minty scent. I like using this especially after a pedicure, my feet feels amazingly soft. AU$44 for 150ml.

Shampoo -L'Oreal - L'Oreal Professionnel Color Guard System Vitamino Color Shampoo
shirfene 2/20/2005 2:46:00 AM
This product has been sitting in my shelf for years. I forgotten its existence until I had my hair coloured again recently. A decent shampoo, didnt give my itchy scalp and protects the hair colour at the same time. May not be the best in the market, but it's a good one, affordable price, too.

Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Creamy Concealer
shirfene 2/20/2005 2:37:00 AM
I have this in Honey, too orangey for my skin tone. A wrong colour purchased when I was in rush. Therefore I use it under my eyes. I like the beautiful packaging, but the texture is only OK for me. A bit too creamy, and looks shiny on my skin. It creases slightly under my eyes, I have to admit that it's a much better product as compared to many other undereye concealers, but I still love my Lancome Photogenic concealer, simply the best so far.

Lotions/ Creams -Origins - Step Lively Energizing Foot Cream
shirfene 1/29/2005 11:13:00 AM

150ml, AU$44
I really like this foot cream, it has very light and spreadable texture. Weird strong scent, smells like some sort of medicine. A perfect foot cream after scrubbing or pedicure. Do not expect great moisture from this product, go for Orgins 'Reinventing The Heel' if you prefer thick cream.

Lotions/ Creams -Origins - A Perfect World body cream
shirfene 1/29/2005 11:07:00 AM

A ridiculously overpriced body cream, for that kind of price, i'd rather go for kiehls. It smells heavenly, undoubtedly a really nice body cream for winter, I like using the lotion version for summer as well. I do not think there's anything special about its 'white tea' claims, just a decent overpriced body cream, which spreads nicely and non-oily.

Lip Gloss -Christian Dior - Diorkiss - 318 - Praline
shirfene 1/19/2005 6:48:00 AM
Dior Kiss is very similar to Lancome Juicy tubes range. I reckon JT is still the best. Dior kiss does not taste as good and didn't last very long on my lips.
The colour 'Praline' is a sheer red, you won't like it if you're after an outstanding red colour. Ok for me though.

Toners -Jurlique - Rosewater Balancing Mist
shirfene 1/18/2005 2:41:00 AM
I nearly finished my first bottle of this Jurlique rosewater and bought myself a second 100ml bottle. It's a very refreshing toner to be used underneath arnica cream, elder cream or calendula cream. No stickiness and absorbed into skin really quickly. I heard that it has some sort of 'whitening' effect but I don't think so, I'm using it only to add a bit of moisture to my skin whenever it feels dry. good stuff, affordable too!

Scrubs -Lancome - Exfoliance Clarte
shirfene 1/8/2005 10:31:00 AM

This is a very gentle exfoliator with bluish microbeads (looks like some sort of detergent :P ). I didn't like the scent like many other reviewers do. Scrubs well and extra gentle, I feel that it's like a Cetaphil cleanser with microbeads, if you get what I mean :)

Scrubs -Clinique - Sparkle Skin Body Exfoliating *Cream*
shirfene 1/3/2005 9:26:00 AM

Nearly forgotten that I've got this scrub, it has been hiding in my cabinet for like nearly a year. If I'm not mistaken I bought it for AU$36. The full name of this product is SPARKLE SKIN BODY EXFOLIATOR. The granules are kinda small but it scrubs really well, could be too drying if you apply too much. I like the refreshing scent. Good but not the best :)

Treatments -Modern Organic Products (MOP) - C-system Conditioning Mist
shirfene 12/26/2004 10:15:00 AM
150ml, AU$29.95
argh....such an expensive hair mist. This product is meant to be used after hair wash. Spray all over while drying hair, it makes hair easier to comb. According to the label, it meant to give a slight styling effect too. I don't find this product useful after using it for a while, I like the idea of a citrus scented hair mist, but I have to say that it really didnt do much to my hair. My hair still prefer kerastase oleo relax serum after the wash.

Conditioner -Modern Organic Products (MOP) - C-system Moisture Complex
shirfene 12/26/2004 10:08:00 AM
I bought this for AU$28 (200ml), kinda pricey. A very ordinary conditioner, didn't do much to my hair. If you're willing to spend that amount of money on a conditioner, I suggest you to go for something else. Nothing much to commend, my hair didn't like it :)
