Not going to lie, I was extremely turned off upon seeing the glitter- but man, this is the definition of a 'golden glow'. The sparkles are only noticable if you are looking for them- otherwise this product really does a great job of bringing out that sunkissed look.
Primer/ Corrector -BeneFit Cosmetics - The Porefessional

This came in one of benefit's Christmas kits and I'm so glad it did. This primer turns my face into a matte, silky canvas, ready for whatever you are applying to it. The pores on my nose were covered, and my skin felt strangely smooth. Definitely purchasing the full size.
I got this in a sample size through one of their holiday kits and I'm in LOVE- this mascara is perfect for getting those teeny tiny bottom lashes! It's precise brush is great for separating every lash, and the formula delivers great length. However, this easily comes off with water- not good when working out or raining outside.
This mascara delivered great volume, but for the price I'd rather purchase Maybelline's Falsies. I do enjoy the plush size of the brush.
Eyeliner -Bare Escentuals - Buxom Lashliner in Suede

I wanted to get this in Leatherette, but my local Sephora was out so I settled for Suede. I was surprised, in a good way, that it was more of a dark brown than an earth-y BROWN brown. I've used the MAC fluidline gel liner before, but I wanted to give this a shot. I think it might've actually lengthened my lashes a bit, but I'm going to have to go back to MAC. This gel liner seemed to go on oddly sheer for me, so I felt like I was really gunking it on, whereas with fluidline, I got just swipe my brush once with the product. There's also another gram's worth in the MAC one, and it's only a few dollars more. I love the consistency of this product though, I just wish that it wouldn't fade quite so easily- it's not that it even smudges or anything, it just kind of...fades. All in all, a decent product, but I still prefer MAC's Fluidline!
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Coconut Lime Verbena Body Splash

Yum. I love this sharp, but creamy scent. The lime smell is strong upon initial spray, but it does down within seconds and you're left with this beautiful coconut lime scent. I'm going for the EDT next time!
Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara
shaesquared 1/4/2011 12:05:00 AM
I picked this because my drugstore was out of Waterproof Lash Blast, and it worked out just as I expected it to! It's a great, very black mascara that gave me plenty of volume and held most of the curl. Well, the curl had its off days, but it was adequate most of the time. The only thing this mascara didn't do that I wish it did was give more volume. I can't decide whether I liked the curved brush or not, but it was excellent for the bottom lashes, hence the 4 for packaging, but the size of the brush was perfect. However, just like Lash Blast, I had extreme difficulty getting this product off of my eyes.
Gorgeous peachy pink nude colour. It goes on much sheerer than I'd like it to, however, so I have to do 2 coats. This is always my go-to colour!
I really wanted to like this colour, but it just didn't work for me! After drying down on my nails, it just looked like a rather dull, dusty steel blue.
Goes on wonderfully smooth and opaque, one coat usually does it for me! The colour is a nice shade of lilac, but it goes more towards the grey side, whereas I was hoping it was more of a lilac with pink undertones, rather than grey. Definitely five stars if it was what I'm looking for, but it's not.
This colour is just so odd. I was looking for a pale yellow but had to settle for this as I couldn't find anything else. In natural white light, it appears as is in the bottle, but under yellow light, it looks very green and...Fiona-like, I suppose. Which would be great if it was what I was looking for, but it isn't. I will definitely not be repurchasing this.
This shade of coral pink with a golden specks is absolutely gorgeous. As with all OPI, the consistency is fantastic. I'm usually a sheer nude girl, but this colour has been on my nails all summer long so far!
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blitz and Glitz
shaesquared 2/14/2010 9:07:00 PM
Although it is rather pricey, I don't mind shelling out the twenty bucks for this eyeliner. It's absolutely smudge/smear proof, and lasts forever! I like that Blitz and Glitz isn't exactly a harsh black, and the flecks of glimmer in here are very subtle. I usually online line my top lid, so I'm not sure as to how to would last on the waterline. EDIT: over a year of daily usage, I think there's still a good third of the product left, so this stuff definitely lasts! The only thing is that's it hardened quite a bit, which means dipping more, but the staying power of it and everything is still fantastic!
Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Angled Eyeliner Brush
shaesquared 2/14/2010 9:00:00 PM
I picked this brush up on a whim, but I am so glad I did! It really is a fantastic brush- no shedding, good precision, and super soft bristles!
I received this as a part of my birthday freebie in Silver Green and to be quite honest, I wasn't expecting much at all from it. Upon application, I was expecting it to be super creasey as it was very creamy and glided on easily. After a day of gym in first period and then a two hour rugby practice in the rain, tht eyeliner, though slightly faded, is still on! It hasn't even creased! Though the colour is more a teal blue than 'silver green', I can still see myself reaching for it. I think I'll be trying out some other colours!
