Palettes -Unlisted Brand - Khroma Khloe's Kardazzle Face Palette

I was browsing through Ulta and found the new Khroma line by Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian. The Kourtney Palette was sold out and the Kim palette was too dark for my taste, but Khloe's palette is very nice. There are eight eye shadow colors. Four are matte and four are shimmery. There are also two blushes and a highlighter. The packaging is plastic, but feels sturdy. It's pretty and shiny. The eye shadows are good for both day and night. They are somewhat nude, somewhat golden. The highlighter is yellowish. This is obviously not going to look nice on every skin tone, but if you like nudes and golden colors, this will be nice to play with. The shadows blend nicely and don't feel chalky. I like the quality. The cheek colors are gorgeous, one is bright, while the other pale and nude. I love the combo. I did my whole face with this palette today and got a compliment on my makeup. It was only 13 USD, but it feels a little more expensive. I especially like that this palette is sturdy and heavy, not flimsy at all. I used a lid primer before applying the shadows, so I can't say if they would last on bare skin, but they blend beautifully. I didn't have much shadow falling onto my cheeks. I have seen better palettes, I have seen much much worse though. Quality wise, it's a 4 lippie product, but due to the low price, I have to give it five.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Redness Soothing Facial Wash gel

I used the whole bottle of this and that is not something I do often. I have many different face cleansers and all of them are either too drying, not effective, unpleasant in use, etc. This cleanser is very pleasant to use. It smells great. It didn't irritate my skin even though my skin is sensitive. I've even used this cleanser as a body wash when I had some breakouts on my chest and back. I have yet to find a cleanser that can treat acne on it's own. The active ingredients are washed away with rinsing and the little that gets absorbed is probably not enough to treat severe acne. That goes for all cleansers though, not just this one. A proper treatment should be used. All in all, I will repurchase this cleanser.

Moisturizers -Clarins - Multi Active Night Cream

This is a lovely night cream. It is moisturizing, but not greasy. It melts into my skin and leaves it plump and comforted. I have combo/oily skin and this cream is just right for me. It would be too heavy for daytime, but at night it's perfect. It has not clogged my pores and I haven't had any breakouts. My cheeks get dry from Retin-A, but this cream helps comfort the dryness. I couldn't be happier. The smell is wonderful.

Eye Shadow -Coastal Scents - 88 colors warm palette

I don't understand what the fuss is about. I ordered this palette based on the rave reviews and don't see anything special about this other than the price. Yes, it is inexpensive, but it's not worth any more than it costs. The shadows are teeny tiny. The colors are nice, true, but they don't hold up too well on the skin. I used them with a primer and they still didn't stay on as long as my other shadows. Maybe I am spoiled by using high end brands, but this really is nothing to write home about. Plus, the packaging is huge and doesn't fit into my makeup storage area. It wouldn't fir in my makeup bag either. I don't see this as a quality item at all. Giving a couple lippies for the colors, they really are pretty. All in all, I will not repurchase and have no desire to try any other Coastal Scents product.

Highlighters -Victoria's Secret - Radiant Face Trio - White Hot

I have been looking for a powder cheek highliter for ages. They are either too powdery, too shimmery/glittery, or just don't show up. I stopped in at Victoria's Secret just to look around and to my surprise, I found this wonderful product. I didn't know VS carried such good quality products. This highliter is absolutely adorable. The powder is very soft and melts into my skin. I put it on with a very soft and thick brush and it looks amazing. There is no glitter, just a beautiful sheen. I LOVE it!

Moisturizers -Chanel - Beaute Initiale Energizing Multi-Protection Cream SPF 15

I usually love Chanel products, but this was a huge disappointment. I was expecting this to be comparable to Age Delay since the SA told me this was supposed to be AD's replacement. This was a huge step backwards for Chanel. This product sits on top of the skin and doesn't seem to sink in for a while, even after massaging it in. The scent is nice, but a bit too strong. I did not feel like my skin was soothed or quenched. For the price of $75, I was expecting something much better. Will not repurchase. I will most likely take this back and exchange it for Hydramax serum.

Conditioner -Schwarzkopf - Gliss Kur Liquid Silk Conditioner

I bought this for about $8 USD. It was imported from Poland. I LOVE this conditioner. I am a product junkie and I have tried everything, from Suave to Kerastase. This conditioner leaves my hair very silky and soft. The shine is amazing. I am happy because my hair is not flat, but not frizzy either. It rinses easily and makes my hair dry quickly. I love it!

Liquid -Clinique - Redness Solutions Makeup SPF 15 with Probiotic Technology

I am NW20, red rosacea cheeks and red bumps on forehead. This truly covers the redness on my cheeks. I am amazed because usually in order to cover my redness, I have to use heavy foundations and/or concealer. This foundation covered all of my redness without having to layer it on. My skin is not irritated, dry, or itchy. I love this foundation! Love the price too!

I love these colors. They make a great smoky eye. The pigment is deeper than other quads from Chanel. I am happy with my purchase. The packaging could be a little fancier for the price.

I love this product! As promised by DDF, the results were awesome! I used it for the first time today and my skin feels soft and smooth. I have mild rosacea and my skin did not become irritated or red after using this product. My skin is glowing. This is perfect for someone who has sensitive skin. I am sensitive to acids so exfoliation is a hassle sometimes, but this really delivered awesome results without a sign of irritation. I give it 5+ lippies. The tube of the crystals will last months, so even though it might seem expensive, the price is very fair. This also comes with a rotating brush head which can be used daily for cleansing, which makes this item even more attractive.

I am disappointed with this. It is not moisturizing enough and my face burns a little bit for a few minutes after I put it on. As sunscreen, it blends in beautifully, but it does not do well as a moisturizer.

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Excellence Creme Blonde Supreme in Extra Light Natural Blonde

A little background info: I used to have dark brown hair. I went to the salon three different times and got hi-lights in order to turn blonde gradually and not destroy my hair. After appointment #3, my hair was mostly blonde with some dark hair left. In order to save some money, I decided to touch up my blonde with a semi perm blonde. I used the lightest shade of semi perm blonde that "Healthy Look" offered. My hair turned light brown. I was devastated! I went with 'Color Oops' and it took out most of the brown, but my hair was left all one color, a very brassy dark blonde. I tried to use a purple toner with 20 volume base, but it did not work at all. Days later after I couldn't stand my hair any longer, I picked this up at Target. I applied it on freshly washed/dried hair. I applied all of the serum on my lengths, then applied color on the lengths, and did my roots the last. I kept it on for about 50 minutes. Rinsing was fairly easy. The conditioner included made my hair soft and shiny. My hair does not seem more damaged. As for the color, it is not as light as the picture on the box, but it is lighter and no more brassiness. I will repeat the whole head application in 6 weeks to lighten my hair further. All in all, I am happy with the results.

Misc Beauty Tools -Matrix - Matrix Pump for 16.9 ounce jars

This pump makes it much easier to use the Biolage jar balms. I have found it to also work with other jars from different brands. So far I used it with L'Oreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Creme 16 oz. Jar. It fits perfectly and makes it so much easier to use.

Both my mom and I have been using this. I really like this after a protein treatment. It takes a while to rinse, but worth the trouble. I never tried it on towel dried hair or with heat, but even just as a conditioner, it really works well. The packaging SUCKS! I hate the tub. BUT!!! I fount a great solution. If you buy the larger tub, you can use a pump top. I took off the pump from my Biolage balm tub and screwed it onto this one. Fits perfectly. Actually, this tub is not as deep as the Biolage tub, but the straw fits just fine. Makes me wonder how I'm supposed to get to the bottom of my biolage tub using their pump. I think the pump is only a few dollars and is reusable, making it much more convenient to use this product.

I took off one lippie because it is overpriced. If it was under $18, I'd give it 5 lippies easy! So to the good parts... The smell is amazing. It feels so luxurious to put it on. What I like about scented products is that it's easy to figure out when they go bad. If it smells good, most likely is still good. If starts to smell different than normal, throw it away! Color is pretty. It's very sheer and natural. I tried to find a dupe at Mac and Clinique, but nothing compares. It's gorgeous! I love the golden sparkles. The tube is gorgeous. Very luxurious looking. Even with the price being way too high, I might repurchase this one. It really is beautiful.
