Purchased in the original and vanilla/macadamia. Both have the same consistency - creamy but not too soft. Original doesn't have a scent and the vanilla/macadamia smells amazing. Reminds me of fresh baked cookies! I like how these feel on the lips though the staying power is not great (as with most balms) but I don't mind reapplying. Can leave a milky cast on the lips especially if your lips are super pigmented. I personally like the look and feel like it would work well over lipstick to tone down bold colors. Moisturizing enough for daily use but not as an intensive lip treatment. I would like to purchase the other two in the product line but can't seem to get my hands on them!

Gels/Soaps -Olay - Silk Whimsy Moisturizing Body Wash

I purchased this in the almond and rose scent and it smells amazing! Leaves my skin feeling soft and clean without over drying, although I apply moisturizer after showering anyways. One of my preferred drugstore body washes. I do wish the scent had staying power as it smells so indescribably good!

Self Tanners -Hawaiian Tropic - Island Radiance Self Tanner

This is probably one of the better drugstore self tanners. Its relatively cheap - this ran me about $10. I picked this up in the medium shade, for reference right now I am about an nc25 and I have to say that medium was a good choice for my skin tone. This has a slight self tanner smell as the tan begins to develop, but personally I did not find it overwhelming like many other self tanners. I like the color payoff after one use. Over night this turned into a nice bronze color. To me this is the gives slightly more color than a gradual self tanner. This didn't streak for me and was easy to apply. I exfoliated before use and applied some of my BBW's cream to drier areas (knees, ankles, elbows) before application and this produced an even tan. I'm not crazy about the nozzle. It produces too much product at once, but for the price and quality I have no problem dealing. Also, because this gives out so much product at once I found I probably applied a little too much to one area and it took longer than expected to dry. I feel like that could be solved if I used less. Regardless, if I only use this at night and let my tan develop overnight this won't be a problem. And yes, I would repurchase.

Lipstick -MAC - Viva Glam Nicki II

Loving the lilac! So pretty for spring. I was a little hesitant how this would look on me, but I really love it. For reference I am an NC25-30. This wears like most MAC lipsticks for me - a little under 4 hours of wear time. The formula is a little drying and can settle so I just take the time to exfoliate and moisturize before application. I like to add a little depth and a little longer wear time by pairing this with the nicki 2 lipglass.

Unfortunately I can't seem to make this work for me. I've tried applying this with my fingers and with a brush and neither seems to give me a flawless application. Also this has some texture problems. It's too dense and doesn't blend well, even when I try working really quickly with it. This doesn't live up to its 24hr claim either - 3-4 hours of wear is the max for me. I wouldn't repurchase. I'd much rather purchase a MAC paint pot.

Blush -MAC - Satin Blush - Well Dressed

I like this when my skin is on the fairer side, usually in the winter months (around nc20-25). A very subtle cool toned pink that looks pretty and natural. I can see that this would really only work for fairer ladies. When my skin is around an nc30 in the summer this just doesn't have the same effect. But other than that this is a lovely color if you can wear it.

Highlighters -MAC - Cream Colour Base in Hush

I use this a lot as a highlighter for my cheekbones, brow, and inner corner. If I'm in a rush I like using this across my lid for a subtle and natural look. Great multipurpose product with a nice consistency.Took off one lippie because I would have liked the product to wear longer.

Love this blush. I apply this lightly to my cheeks with my 167. Looks really pretty as an everyday cheek color and pairs well with a neutral look. Really seems to brighten my face and I find myself reaching for this a lot!

Styling Products -Aussie - Heat Protecting Shine Spray

I bought because the heat protecting spray I usually purchase was sold out (tresemme heat tamer). I really wasn't expecting much from this, but figured I would try it out because the price was inexpensive. The directions say for use on damp hair and so far that is all I have tried so i cannot testify to how well this works on dry hair. I guess for the price this is a decent heat protectant - it smells nice, adds a nice shine to my hair, and doesn't weigh it down. Others mentioned a sticky feeling but I have not experienced that. The nozzle does not disperse evenly so to avoid having a concentrated build up of product in one section of my hair I spray a few times into my hand and then finger comb the product so the application is even. I prefer the tresemme heat tamer over aussie's so for that reason I will likely not repurchase.

Polishes -Joe Fresh Style - Nail Polish - ALL COLOURS

Like others have mentioned these polishes seem like a great a deal but in reality they are comparably priced with other mid-end polishes. I have purchased a handful of their polishes and I don't really like the formula. All of the colors I tried were streaky on application and even with 2-3 coats most colors weren't opaque. I don't really like the short brush either for application. I liked the idea of getting to experiment with trendy colors because of the small bottles, but in the future I won't be repurchasing these.

Moisturizers -Josie Maran Cosmetics - Argan oil

I like this for the winter months when my skin feels a little on the dry side. This does a great job moisturizing without looking or feeling greasy and my skin stays smooth and flake free all day long. This doesn't irritate my skin and hasn't caused me any breakouts. I just find this product a little too pricey for what it is so I don't really see myself repurchasing. EDIT: After using this for over a month now I've had to discontinue using this. My skin has become a dry and flaky mess and to the best of my knowledge I believe this is what is causing it.

Mascara -MAC - Haute & Naughty Lash

This has become my favorite mascara. Application can be a bit tricky but I think the payoff is well worth it. Using the "naughty" wand first I apply a heavy layer of the mascara and then follow up with the "haute" wand. The "naughty" wand gives my lashes the very voluminous and dramatic look that I love, while the "haute" wand gives my lashes the length that I need. This wears well for me throughout the day with very minimal smudging. Will definitely purchase again.

Moisturizers -Neostrata - Smoothing Cream (all concentration levels)

I purchased this in the level one concentration as I have sensitive skin and was worried this would irritate my skin. But, I have been successfully using this for about 2 months now and I am loving the results. I honestly wasn't expecting this cream to do this much but it has dramatically transformed my skin. This eliminates flakes and dryness really well and I never need to use any other exfoliants. Since using this cream my complexion looks brighter and even. This has faded my hyperpigmentation and acne scars. Definitely a keeper and will be repurchasing the level two concentrate when I am finished. Also, I only use this at night as I suspect this wouldn't wear well under makeup.

Shampoo -Live Clean - (Green Earth) Invigorating Shampoo

I love this shampoo! Doesn't weigh down my fine hair, smells amazing and the natural ingredients have made my scalp less dry and temperamental. Lathers well and leaves my hair feeling very clean without being drying at all. Will def repurchase.

Polishes -MAC - Shirelle

If you're looking for a true red polish, this is it. This is very pigmented and two coats is all you need and it looks flawless. The polish itself applies really really nice and smooth with no streaking. Average dry time as well. Wears for about 4-6 days for me with a decent top coat.
