Shampoo -Frederic Fekkai - Technician® Color Care Shampoo
martini2000 10/22/2006 2:02:00 PM
This is the best shampoo ever!!! Ok, I know, this sentence doesn't qualify as a good review. So, why do I like it so much? I have short, demi-colored hair. - this shampoo lathers well - rinses fast - smells divine - gives more shine than I ever could think of -has a very creamy texture It's just great, really. Here, I paid €20, which is alright. I use it every day (remember, I have short hair), and it lasts for months, because a little goes a long way.

Lipstick -Stila - Marisa

I didn't like this one for 2 reasons. the UK still seels the cardboard versions, and it got crushed in my bag immediately. that's ridiculous. the second reason is that I think the color looks rather dated. I never saw the color, but always the pearl shimmer. NOt for me

Lip Liners -Stila - lip liner 19
martini2000 8/15/2005 3:03:00 AM
A rather average light nude lip liner. it's almost like my natural lip color. Next time I'd go with #9 instead. the quality is good though. It's creamy and doesn't break.

Lotions/ Creams -Kiehls - Creme de Corps
martini2000 8/15/2005 2:51:00 AM
Best body lotion I had so far. I love it. I don't care about the smell overmuch, but its performance is great. My skin is thanking me for having found this. I also find that it's absorbed fast

Shampoo -Redken - All Soft Shampoo
martini2000 8/15/2005 2:49:00 AM
Not a bad shampoo. I have fine, but lots of slightly highlighted hair the only things I ask of my shampoos and treatments is to detangle mainly. I take the conditioning in the products I buy for granted. This is a good shampoo in terms of quality, but I need more to lather my hair than from my kerastase shampoos. And I don't like the smell.

Foundations -La Mer - the SPF Fluid Tint
martini2000 7/13/2005 7:23:00 AM
I love this. It's just as good as the cream, and also has enough tint to work as a foundation for me. I hope they will introduce this in Germany soon, so I don't have to order it. Great Stuff. It only takes a little and lasts the whole day on my face without powder on top!

Cleansers -La Roche Posay - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser
martini2000 6/22/2005 3:33:00 PM
A great no-fuzz thorough cleanser for my sensitive skin, My skin feals squeeky clean, but not parched. it looks a bit clinical, but on the other hand, it's also rather cheap here (€10.50). I'd rebuy any time.

Blush -Chanel - Irreelle Blush in Incognito
martini2000 6/22/2005 3:30:00 PM
Incognito is what I wanted all the gazillions of previously bought blushes to be. It's perfect for my light to medium neutral skin. It gives more of a glow than actual color on me, but if I should descrie the color, it would be a bronzy rose on me. A definite winner for me!

Moisturizers -La Mer - Creme de la mer moisturizer
martini2000 6/22/2005 3:28:00 PM
Oh, how I love this. I actually good a sample when I was buying another expensive cream. a week later, after having used only the sample, I returned the cream for CDLM and haven't looked back since. I've been using it know for a month, and my skin loves it. it's usually sensitive and dry, but nor more. it's just normal, looks well-rested and glows like a light bulb. It's just miraculous. Today, I've bought the SPF 18 tint as a TM, and if this will be just half as good as the cream, I'd still considder it a bargain. I love La Mer. My husbands loves touching my cheek now. I also love the smell, which I think is worth mentioning, as so many here do not like it. It smells like baby lotion to me. As always, get a sample first, though.

Concealers -Cle de Peau - Concealer
martini2000 11/9/2004 5:55:00 AM
Very good concealer.I like that one more than the one included in the LP caviar foundation. Very pigmented, providing a matte finish and doesn't crease under eyes. All I ask for.

Crème -Cle de Peau - Cream Foundation
martini2000 8/9/2004 1:47:00 PM
I know why celebs love that one so much. After trying first LaPrairie foundation powder, which caked like nothing else, I've also tried the La Prairie skin caviar foundation. the finish is great, very luminous, but all the colors were so wrong for me. So I finally tried the Cle de Peau creme foundation that all the celebs featured in the breakdown section seem to love so much lately. It goes on like a dream and dries to a velvety finish. And I found a perfect color match. It's a warm but very, very fair tone (I10), just like my own skin, which is usually so hard to match. UPDATE:still a great find, but unfortunately much to dry for me. After 2 days of bliss, I couldn't even apply it. It turned myskin into a desert. It just would stuck at the part of my face, where I placed the dot. No chance of distributing it...

Mascara -MAC - Splashproof Lash
martini2000 4/3/2004 11:30:00 AM
I'm such a huge fan of Pro LAh in black, but the splashprrof version just didn't cut it for me. I have very long lashes, and no matter how carefuly I apply this, they always cling together. I have never expererienced this with any other mascara. on the other hand, it lasts well, doesn't smudge and will be essential on my wedding :) I'll go thru this tube, but then go back to Pro Lash
