Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - MegaEyes Cream Eyeshadow #190 Wild Orchid
rated 5 of 5

I picked this up to use as an eyeshadow base and have not been disappointed. The colour is a sheer lavender/light pink with some shimmer but no glitter. Works great as a base for purple or pink shadows as it has great lasting power. As you only need a tiny dab each time the little tube will last a loooong time. Thus for only $4 it's a great value! Highly recommend and I will repurchase.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Creme Shadow - #194 Iced Out

If I had to pick one word to describe this product it would be GLITTER. Yup, glitter. This looks like a pretty silvery white colour in the tube but once applied all you see is the aforementioned g-word and LOTS of it. It's not for me at all as I prefer a more neutral look and am not a fan of glittery shadows. I wish I had checked out the other reviews before I bought it. It does have some merits though; like all WnW products it's dirt cheap, only a tiny dab is needed so the tubs will last you forever and the lasting power is great. Bottom line- if you love glitter this one's for you!!!!

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime SHEER Mocha

Ahhhh... yet another great natural/nude lipstick to add to my collection! This is a lovely, tawny pinky/brown/nude shade that is very natural looking on the lips. It wears for hours and isn't overly drying. At $10-$12 dollars it is a tad pricey for a drugstore product but well worth it imo. I would definitely repurchase.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime Sheer - Sheer Plumlite

lovelyliisa 11/4/2007 10:33:00 AM

Love this product! A gorgeous, sheer, medium mauvy/pink/plum with shimmer. It applies smoothly and wears for hours. It feels very natural on the lips and doesn't dry them out excessively like so many other semi-permanent lipsticks. A tad pricey for a drugstore product but I will repurchse this. Make sure you apply it to clean, smooth, completely dry lips for best results!

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime SHEER - Sheer Rosette

These are very nice semi-permanent lippies. They are very natural looking and not nearly as drying as some of the others. Even though these are quite sheer, this particular shade was still much too pink for my warmish-toned LLL skin. Would look great on others though.

I love the colour of this eyeliner, a lovely medium purple with shimmer. It applies easily, dries quickly and lasts fairly well on my oily lids. Great shade for any eye colour imo. Would repurchase.

Conditioner -Got 2 Be - Hottie Deep Rescue Conditioner [DISCONTINUED]
rated 4 of 5
lovelyliisa 11/4/2007 10:24:00 AM

Really good, inexpensive deep conditioner. It has a thick, rich texture that doesn't drip and it leaves my dry ends silky soft and smooth, shiny and bouncy. Also detangles well and smells like coconut/banana/fruit candy. A little goes a long way with this product so you get a lot for only 5 dollars. Would repurchase. :)

Eyeliner -New York Color - Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil - all
rated 4 of 5
lovelyliisa 11/4/2007 10:21:00 AM

This is a decent, fairly long-wearing eyeliner at a very good price. It sharpens nicely to a fine line, applies smoothly and evenly and has pretty good lasting power. I wouldn't put it in the same league as MAc Fluidlines, BB Gel liners or Revlon Colorstay but for three to five dollars it's pretty good. The colour selection is okay; basic black, a few brown shades, a plum, navy/deep blue and a teal IIRC. Would repurchase.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes eyeshadow in Cornflower
rated 4 of 5

In general I am not a fan of blue eyeshadow at all but this one is actually okay. Like others have said, it's a lovely, shimmery, medium blue with a hint of lavender. It looks nice used as a wash on it's own or layered under purple shadows which is what I like to do with it. Great colour to complement brown eyes imo. Worth a shot for only like two bucks...go for it!

Powder -Wet 'n' Wild - Ultimate Minerals Powder Foundation in Stage Light
rated 4 of 5
lovelyliisa 11/4/2007 10:14:00 AM

I have pretty good skin and general and don't really wear foundation. But I decided to give this a try after hearing so many things about the pros and benefits of mineral makeup. And at such a cheap price, why not?!? This powder offers sheer coverage and helps even out skin tone somewhat. It gives a nice healthy 'glow' to skin without looking fake or artificial like some highlighters do. The packaging is bulky and somewhat awkward to use but all in all I like this as a highlighter/ skin brightener. I would repurchase but I think this was LE. Too bad..:(

Lipstick -Clinique - Butter Shine in Pink Toffee
rated 4 of 5
lovelyliisa 11/4/2007 10:10:00 AM

Very pretty lipstick. A neutral pink/berry/brown mix with no shimmer. It has a nice glossy finish that prevents it from looking dull. Feels like and moisturizing and wears farily well. A tad pricey but it's a nice neutral, everyday kind of colour. Would repurchase.

Lipstick -Clinique - Butter Shine Lipstick - Delovely
rated 5 of 5
lovelyliisa 11/4/2007 10:07:00 AM

I love nude lipsticks in general and this one is no exception. A lovely pinkish/brown/beige with just enough shimmer in it to prevent it from looking dull or flat. Lovely, smooth, balm-like feeling like all the Buttershine lippies and the bamboo packaging is gorgeous. Would definitely repurchase. :)

Lipstick -Clinique - Butter Shine Lipstick - Pink Goddess
rated 4 of 5
lovelyliisa 11/4/2007 10:05:00 AM

This is a very nice lipstick. It's a lovely medium pink with shimmer. I find it to be more of a neutral pink than a cool/bluish toned pink. Love the super smooth texture and feel of this product and the lasting power is decent. I would repurchase.

Lip Gloss -Max Factor - Colour Perfection Luxe Gloss - St Croix Sand
rated 3 of 5
lovelyliisa 11/4/2007 10:01:00 AM

I picked this up on a recent trip stateside as Max Factor is no longer available in Canada. While I love the colour of this gloss ( a neutral pinky/mauve brown with shimmer) and it's yummy vanilla scent I find it had absolutely no lasting power on me . And to top things off, the shimmer in it tends to migrate past my mouth and onto my chin and cheeks!. Too bad as the colour really is nice and the product is quite inexpensive. I won't buy this again.

Moisturizers -Dove - Essential Nutrients Day Creme SPF 15
rated 4 of 5
lovelyliisa 11/4/2007 9:53:00 AM

Overall I'm, very pleased with this product. I have generally oily skin but I experience dryness from time to time. This product makes my skin feel hydrated and smooth and doesn't make me overly greasy and shiny like so many other suncreens do. The SPF is also a bonus and it doesn't irritate my skin like some other chemical sunscreens do. The price is also great at around $8. I would repurchase.
