Polishes -China Glaze - Sex on the Beach

This color is nice. I am into bright colors and all shades of pink, but this one just doesn't get me overly excited. It is a very pretty color if you are looking for something neutral. It has a very nice effect in the sunlight. It initially looks pink, but has some mauve undertones and a golden shimmer. The color really depends on the lighting that you fall into. I am glad that I bought this color because I don't have anything like it. I am going to wear it with a nude color dress that own, so it will go to good use.

Treatments -China Glaze - Fast Freeze Quick Dry

Where has this quick dry spray been all my life? I bought this 2oz spray on head2toebeauty.com. It basically dries your nail polish instantly. I used to wait at least 30 minutes after applying top coat before I started using my hand again. Now that I have been using the spray, I am ready to go right away. The instructions on the bottle say to wait 60 seconds after applying top coat before you use the spray. I paint my nails once a week and it looks as though the bottle will last me about a year. I use 3 sprays/hand. So glad I found this! What a time saver!

Polishes -China Glaze - Naked

I love this color! The best way I can describe it is Flamingo pink. It is a medium shade pink with peach undertones and microglitter (did I mention that I love CG with microglitter?). It looks perfect on my slightly tanned fair skin. It does go on shear; it took 3 coats in order for it to become opaque. Application was a breeze and it has lasted three days already without chipping. If you love pink, then you will love this color!

Polishes -China Glaze - 108 Degrees

Turn up the AC! This color is hot!!!! This is a beautiful deep hot pink microglitter with a blue/purple flash. If China Glazes "Strawberry Fields" and "Raspberry Festival" mated this is what they would produce. I love CG microglitter formula. Goes on like a breeze in two coats, however chips a little easier than your average polish. If I didn't own the two polishes mentioned above I would purchase again, but how many hot pink polishes does one girl need?

Primer/ Corrector -Victoria's Secret - Victoria's Secret Airbrush FX Face Primer SPF 20
rated 3 of 5

I really wanted to love this product, but it just wasn't meant to be. The texture is very nice; it is very silky smooth. However, I felt that is just sat on top of my skin and did not absorb at all. When I applied my MAC studiofix on top it seemed to not really bond well to the primer. I think I will just stick to my regular Aveda hydrating lotion, because this just doesn't seem to do it for me. Maybe a good face primer just doesn't exist....

Polishes -Misa - Shop till u drop

This is a very pretty light purple shimmer with gray undertones. Application was a breeze. Perfect coverage in two coats. I am not sure if I would buy again because I have other light purples that I like a little better. I found this colour to be a little drab because of the grey undertones. If you are looking for a cool purple, this one is for you.

Polishes -Misa - Lounging by the Pool

Love this color! This is a medium shade blue shimmer that is on the aqua side, although does not have any green undertones. I find that this color is similar to China Glazes "Beauty and the Beach", but without the green tones. This is my first time buying Misa brand and I am quite impressed. Application was a breeze and it has lasted a few days without any sign of wear. An excellent pedi color for the summer. Would buy again.

Polishes -China Glaze - Rose Among Thorns

Wow what a color! This is a red orange neon colour that also has some pink undertones. I was looking for a red creme that was really bright, kinda like a red sports car. This is not exactly what I was looking for, this color definitely reminds me of the pylons that we had in elementary school gym class. However, it is a very pretty color. Unlike anything I have seen in a nail polish before. Koodos to China Glaze for that. I have to give this one 4 stars though because I have been wearing this polish for less than a day and I already have chipping accoring; even with two layers of top coat. I find that this is a trend with China Glaze neons. Too bad! Love the colour though!

Polishes -Color Club - Pucci-licious

I love this colour! It is a highly pigmented vivid purple shade with no hint of any undertone. It is a perfect purple creme. I am very impressed with the quality of Color Club nail polishes. I am usually a China Glaze girl, but I have found that the formula in the Color Club polishes I have used have been a dream. This one took two coats for a perfect coverage. I added a light purple shimmer as a top coat just to add some dimension. The result is absolutely gorgeous. You will not be disappointed with this colour (especially since it is only $2.50 at head2toebeauty.com). Will buy again!

Polishes -China Glaze - Pink Underground
rated 4 of 5
livetodance 7/7/2010 11:25:00 AM

This is a medium/light pink with purple and blue undertones. It would definitely fall under the category of a bubble gum or Barbie pink. While this is a very pretty colour, I was a bit disappointed. In the bottle it looked as though it had a beautiful purple shimmer to it, but when I put it on my nails that shimmer disappeared. It looks like another run-of-the-mill pink creme. Application was nice; it took two coats to have an opaque coverage. I think I expected more out of this polish. I will give it 4 lippies though because it is still a pretty colour despite my expectations.

Polishes -China Glaze - fairy dust
rated 4 of 5

This is perfect if you are looking to add a little sparkle to your creme or matte nail polishes. I used two coats on top of White on White and got a very subtle holographic sparkle. I find that in low light it looks a little more like dirt specks on my nails, but this may be because it is on top of white nail polish. I will have to experiment with other colours to see if I really like this polish. I don't believe that I will buy this again; I think I may be getting a little old for sparkly nail polish.....

Polishes -China Glaze - White on White
rated 3 of 5
livetodance 7/5/2010 3:52:00 PM

This is a nice bright white that is slightly on the cool side. I was a little worried when I first started applying because it very streaky and a little gluey. After 3 coats I was able to get nice coverage, however, it did take some time to dry with my fast-drying top coat. I added Fairy Dust on top to add a little sparkle. This isn't the best formula; I'm sure there are others out there that are not so streaky. I would not buy this white again.

Polishes -Color Club - Tangerine Scream
rated 5 of 5
livetodance 6/29/2010 12:31:00 PM

This is a great bright orange colour for the summer. It is from the electro-candy collection and definitely reminds me of orange skittles. I am not sure if you can call this a neon, I don't believe that it is bright enough. This makes for an excellent pedicure and has a touch of shimmer which looks gorgeous in the light. I used three coats with this one. The formula is a little on the thin side, but application was a dream. This is the first orange colour and first Color Club nail polish that I have ever bought. I am very happy with my purchase and will buy more Color Club polishes in the future.

Polishes -China Glaze - Sugar High
rated 5 of 5
livetodance 6/29/2010 12:23:00 PM

This is a perfect colour for summer if you are not into neons, but are looking for something on the bright side. This is a medium pink creme that has a slight peach undertone. Sugar High is a perfect name for this polish since the colour is very similar to that of a heart shaped Runt. The formula on this one is on the thick side. I found that application was easy. It covered so well that I could almost stop after the first coat. I used two coats with a base and top coat. This is a fun colour for summer; I would purchase again.

Lotions/ Creams -OPI - Avojuice Skin Quenchers in Berry Merry Rose Juicie
rated 3 of 5
livetodance 6/28/2010 4:08:00 PM

I really love Avojuice. It goes on silky smooth and you can use it before a manicure without worrying about lotion residue on nails. What I don't like, however, is this particular scent. I love anything that is sweet smelling, so I thought that I would like this one because of it's name. I find that this has a strong perfumey smell that gave me a bit of a headache. This was a gift, so if I was in the store testing this I would not purchase it. I do love this moisturizer in Coconut Mango though. I will buy this product again, just not in this scent.
