I got this in Polar Purple and it worked really well! Once you do the second coat then hold the magnet over, make sure you do it as soon as you can, and the better the effect will be.

Like many others have said, I've been looking for this gloss forever! I thought I had it many times before in the past, but then I realize it's not perfect. This is. The perfect nude gloss for me. I have pigmented lips, probably more pigmented than most light to medium-skinned people. I LOVE this. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. I can't stop putting it on. I do kinda wish the applicators were better but eh. I think I will be able to use this better than the sponge tip applicators. Sometimes I have trouble finishing those off. I can't wait to try this with a smoky eye.

Lip Gloss -Burt's Bees - Burts Bees Lip Shimmers

These are AMAZING. I absolutely love them. I want to have every single shade. Well, except Coffee which was too dark for me and it looked like pure rust. Anyway, I have Guava, Watermelon, Toffee and Cocoa. Watermelon is a nice pink, not as shimmery as Guava. Guava is a bit lighter, watermelon is closer to my lip color, so it’s a bit more natural looking. BUT, you can still tell with both of them that I have something on. Toffee is a pretty, silvery taupe color. I like it when I want something shimmery but not too dark or too pink. It’s more of an “every shade” for me. Cocoa is great when I’m wearing a darker color shirt and want something that will show up. I can’t say enough great things about these lip shimmers. If you find the shades you like you will love them. And I found them 2/$7 at Walgreens. Plus the minty taste and smell and feel on your lips is just like the regular Burt’s Bees balm. So not only are you putting the great balm on and protecting your lips from the elements but you also get to look pretty too!

Liquid -L'Oreal - infallible never fail makeup

I love this foundation! I usually use Lancome's foundations but I ran out so bought this to use until I get some more Lancome and I love it. I have Buff Beige. I think it looks great, it lasted all day while I went to a picnic and ran around and sweated. I still looked good by the end of the day.

I like this moisturizer, however it does sometimes feel a little greasy. I wouldn't use it on really hot days when you might sweat a lot.

Tried this stuff at B&BW and it's awesome!! I washed my hands with it and I couldn't stop smelling them. I want it so bad now.

Lip Gloss -Prestige - Lip Concentrate

I bought this in Indochine and I'm really pleased. It's a kind of iridescent pink but it's very cute! It looks even better with the gloss over it. While the lip color side smells like paint, the Gloss has a vanilla smell, like MAC's lippies and lipglass, so that's really yummy and it cancels out the bad smell of the lip stain. I also love the double sided packaging, as I hate carrying around two separate containers and I'm not as fond of Revlon's Colorstay as I am of this!

Why didn't they come out with this shade to begin with? Oh yeah, because they wanted all us darkies to spend money on the light version first. Oh well, this on looks a lot more shimmery than the other one...but I really don't like the smell. Minus one lippie for that.

Self Tanners -L'Oreal - Sublime Bronze

Ok, I have this in the Lotion (SPF15) and the Gelee, both in Deep. I'm an MMM with Type 3 skin, and I think this looks too orange on me. Plus, even though they say it takes 5 minutes to dry, I gave it about 20 minutes and still ended up with white marks where it rubbed off. I also got streaks, which the product claims it doesn't leave. Whatever. I even exfoliated before using but I just can't get good results with this. I'm tired of products claiming they don't look orange and then sure enough, they do! Bleh. I'm off to try Savage Bronze or Toma's Tan Perfect. Anything but this.

Fragrances -Calvin Klein - Obsession

This smells like an old lady to me. I made the mistake of saying that in front of my grandma when I received a sample pack of five different CK fragrances, but oh well. I think she agreed. I might give this a shot since everyone said men love it, so we'll see if I can use it this weekend to seduce someone. Wish me luck!

I really like this lotion. I got a sample size in a gift package for judging a talent show. I LOVE it. It's so smooth and light. The fragrance is nice and it isn't too gooey. It sinks right in and leaves hands soft.

ACK!!! I hate this stuff! I tried to use it on my skin, waited a bit and then put foundation over it and the foundation clumped up and rubbed off like peeling skin. It was awful! This does not absorb into the skin at all. I'm so glad I got a sample size of this for free and didn't buy it. Bleh!
