Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Perfection Volumizing Mascara

Amazing! I bought this after seeing how highly reviewed it was on here and I'm glad I did. I was formerly using lash blast volume so I felt comfortable with cover girl. I have naturally long thick and curled lashes... sounds perfect right? Wrong! lol They are also naturally blonde (even though I have dark brown hair) and they are fine so they are not apparent even if I have a lot of them. Anyway My biggest problem was I end up with all of my tiny eyelashes become several giant clumps. Spider legs anyone? anywho this seperates AMAZINGLY! Some of them gathered together but they look amazing! The tube and brush aren't anything special they aren't a bad design the design is acutally nice, just not anything memorable or flashy (which can me nice) I bought it in brown and it ends up looking dark so that's another thing.Black tends to look to harsh on me so the colors are on the darker side but I'm ok with that.anyway Overall the best mascara I have tried and half the price of the designer ones I would recommend it =)
So for me I have been having trouble lately because I have a lot of long and thick eyelashes (they are close together). I assummed million lashes were great at seperating but not so much. I keep getting 8 big lashes instead of many individual ones. The container is awkward, big, bulky and gold.. which just makes it feel cheaper. Overall I would say this is a decent pick if you are in a jam but I definitely don't get a million lashes.
THE BEST LIP BALM I HAVE USED. so I've used a lot of different brands (eos, burts bees, chapstick, carmex, softlips) and this so far is the best. I even used a couple of ones from Sephora but I forget the names. My lips are always extremely dry because of bad genetics lol I would in the past have to apply a coat to my lips about every hour or two. With the nivea brand my lips stay hydrated long after I use it. I still apply a acouple times a day but not as much. I give this 5 stars. Great packaging looks a little like a glue stick haha. and cheap for the quality. DEFINITELY GET!! =)
So I've been using this off an on. I was hoping for my skin to even out and have a pretty tone. I just mainly wanted it to clear redness and prevent against free radicals. First off I don't like the smell.. to me it is a mixture of rum and deli meat. Not something I love wiping on my face lol.. Next it's over 100 dollars. It's lasted me a really long time and I'm no where close to running out. I would just say I haven't noticed really any difference, good or bad, in my skin. The product overall I would rate as a 3 because it's neutral.. but because of the price I thought it was a 2. I love skinceutical sunscreen but not this thing.
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polish

I bought this in the clear. "Clear'd for takeoff" I thought the name was cute.. the results not so much. I was comparing this to the sally hansen hard as nails. My complaints: it took a long time to dry, it felt very thin and goopy on my nails, there were messed up scratches almost instantly. The Pros, they have great color selection and brush. For like 8 dollars I'd expect more but whatever. As far as nail color goes it's probably good, but it definitely doesn't replace nail growth treatments, and base and top coat like they claim.
I really love this product. My favorite nail look is the very natural clear look haha. A lot of people have misconceptions of how this product really works. It coats your nail so that it will prevent bending, tearing, and chipping of the nail by making it hard and stiff. I love the end result in just two coats. I've experimented with 3 coats or 2 thick coats and that wasn't so good. I like the shiny thick hard look, while still looking natural. Better than most the 10 dollar products and for about $2. My only negative comments is they don't last over a week.. which is too optimistic, and the smell is pretty annoying but that's with all nail things. Overall I will keep buying it since it is my go to product =)
Absolutely my favorite cleanser I have used so far. I accidently bought the regular kind before and HATED the smell of it. It literally reminded me of weird hospital sanitized smell that stayed on my face. This one is completely different. It doesn't foam, which I like. Is very gentle on my skin and LEAVES IT HYDRATED!!! Imagine a cleanser that doesn't give a tight feeling on skin. That's pretty much all I've known. I will never use another cleanser =)
Treatments -Olay - Pro X Intensive Firming Treatment

I felt an obligation to write a review since the only other one is not how I feel about it. Plus the more reviews the more of an accurate idea you get. I will be honest it is pretty expensive at $50 for a pretty small amount. I am 18 but use this as an intense hydrating treatment for the health of my skin. Plus it's good to take care of your skin while you're young. The hydration is long lasting, intense, but light, and helps calm my rosacea. I will continue to look for other products but always have come crawling back to this one haha.. I wish it was cheaper and larger though. There is not much of a scent and can be layered with other skincare items i.e perscription creams. Since I do not have deep wrinkles I cannot comment on that, although some of my fine lines have disappeared. All and all I give it a 9/10 simply because it works great, but is more expensive then I would like.
I really liked this hair dye. I wasn't super thorough with the application, just rubber gloves in the shower and combed it through my hair. I left the raven (black) hair color on my unbleached hair for a couple hours and was amazed with the results. I chose this product because it is actually good for my hair and I wanted a temporary color. I expect it to fade soon and I want it to. If the desired result is a permanent hair color this is not it. I don't know what everyone else did but the hair color definitely didn't stain my shower or pillows/sheets. The stains that were in my shower lifted easily with just water. My hair felt very conditioned and nice afterwards. I would recommend this product for anyone seeking a temporary color. UPDATE:So after a few washes it definitely faded and bled in my shower. This to me was not problem since I was realistic with the effects of the product. I knew it would not last forever. It never stained my shower. If it got on my skin I could just wipe it off with water. I don't understand other people on here sometimes lol
This is honestly such a great product. I've used to for my eyelashes, eyebrows, hair, and hairline. I have very thick hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows but I figure since I bought it as a hot oil treatment I could use it for other things. What I do is get an old mascara wand and run it over my eyelashes and eyebrows. After my pregnancy my hairline became thinner, due to hormones, so this definitely has helped. I noticed results within a couple days. My eyelashes were longer, darker, and thicker looking. I even notice new hair growing and I've only been using it for three days!! My complaints are that when you apply it to your eyelashes it remains all day. Literally hours later and it'll still be there. It's also pretty thick and isn't my absolute favorite for skin moisturizing (that award goes to coconut oil). Overall this is an amazing natural product that I fell in love with and felt the need to write a (lengthy) review about. haha. So if you want your hair to be thicker and longer this is amazing!! =)
Styling Products -Pureology - Super Smooth Relaxing Serum
lacysilk29 2/15/2012 6:31:00 AM
It smells amazing (in my opinion).. kinda like rose/geranium and the scent is very light when washed out. I love this product even more than the Hydracure (also by pureology) I have frizzy thick hair that can tangle and matt if i'm not careful (thankfully I can comb out the matts in my hair and don't have to comb it out.) I would say if you have frizzy, thick, unruly, curvy wavy hair this is great at taming it without sacrificing volume and shine and bounce and all that good stuff lol.. It's pretty expensive but one jar of it has lasted me over 6 months. As far as I see it's the perfect product for soft shiny and manageable hair =)
Like anyone will tell you this is a great product. I'm glad I bought this in this particular shade because it appears darker than what it looks like in the jar. I have fair skin, light blue eyes, and dark thick frizzy hair (thanks mom) but this shows up dark enough to define my eyes, while light enough to look natural. I still love liquid and won't exclusively use this, but this is an amazing product that I would definitely use everyday.. it's just sometimes I go for different looks. lol But you just apply it with a brush and it glides on well. It stays put and brings out the blue color of my eyes. I figured it's only 15 dollars so that was not a huge problem.. I love it =)
Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid
lacysilk29 12/21/2011 11:00:00 PM
So in terms of sunscreen I'm more comfortable with physical, which this product is. It is very comparable to the one by skinceuticals in many ways. To be honest both are really good, but I like this one slightly more. The Anthelios has great coverage, protection, and when you apply the RIGHT amount you won't look like you put on geisha paint haha.. I use about a quarter size for my face and it gives a very light, barely there feel. The bottle is kind of awkward but it's not really something that bothers me that much. The price is kinda steep (around 20$ I think..?) which for a small thing of sunscreen is kinda annoying too.. But overall it's a great product and there aren't too many high spf physical sunscreens for sensitive skin so this a great product if you fit that
Even though I think Elizabeth Taylor was a very beautiful woman her perfume... not so much.my friend got it for her birthday when she was 15 and it reminded us of an older woman.. We kinda just sprayed it at eachother and reacted like it was poison lol... It smells horrid to me.. and is pretty on the outside. Don't reccomend
So I just reviewed the shampoo and thought I'd do a quick one for the conditioner. I love the line and highly recommend it. It has amazing results, scent, and shine. With moisture and pretty hair while maintaining my waves and volume. I do recommend to clarify because of the silicones but that's about it. I love this stuff =)
