Treatments (Eye) -Estee Lauder - Whitelight EX extra brightening eye cream SPF15
rated 3 of 5

This eye cream is light, suitable for the tropical, humid climate where i live but i find it's not moisturizing enough when i am in air-conditioned places. i like the the fact that it has SPF and that's one of the reasons i kept purchasing/using this eye cream.

Skincare - Face -HABA - White Lady

When I get pimples, they tend to leave scars that look like chicken pox. After reading the good reviews for White Lady, I finally decided to give it a try. White Lady has helped to lighten the scars, due to its high vitamin C content. Thank you to all you MUA-ers. Three to fours drops is sufficient. Price is expensive but I suppose a bottle can last a long time.

Moisturizers -HABA - VC-Lotion
rated 5 of 5

I was getting some nasty breakout and pimple scars before this. Now after using VC Lotion together with White Lady at night and Squa Dew for a month or so, the scars are diminishing and much less breakout, except for the occasional hormonal/stress pimple. It's also great to know that HABA products are preservative free, paraben free, basically doesn't contain chemicals that are harmful to skin.

Misc Beauty Tools -Shiseido - Eyelash Curler

This is my first curler and i'll definitely stick to this one. It fits my Asian eyes perfectly.Does not pinch the skin around the eyes like some other which i tried before. Gives a nice curl and for the natural look, I don't even need to use mascara.

Treatments (Eye) -L'Occitane - Immortelle Eye Balm

This eye balm is quite a disappointment, it only provides very light moisturisation. So far didn't see any results. Won't purchase again.

Skincare - Face -Aesop - Damascan Rose Facial Treatment
rated 5 of 5
kaisarchabor 3/2/2008 5:51:00 AM

This is a preservative-free facial oil which contains vitamin A, C and E. I apply 1-2 drops at night twice a week after deep cleansing mask treatment. It feels oily at first but next morning, it leaves my skin soft and smooth. Although I have combination/oily skin type, it does not give me any problem with breakout so far. A bottle lasts me almost a year. Will purchase again considering it has the vitamins for my skin.

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Zanzibar Glossimer
rated 1 of 5

I am disappointed with this light peach/nude gloss w/ mild shimmer, it does not show up on my lips. I need to wear it over a more pigmented lipstick.

Powder -Laura Mercier - Foundation Powder
rated 4 of 5
kaisarchabor 10/22/2006 10:35:00 AM

I got this in #3 which looked very natural when I apply dry. However it does not last long, after about 2 or 3 hours, it oxidised on my combi-oily skin and leaving almost no coverage but a dull and darker complexion. Though it has not cause any breakout, I am still disappointed and will not purchase again.

Treatments (Eye) -Estee Lauder - Resilience Lift Eye Cream
rated 1 of 5

This eye cream is meant for those in the 40s. I've not reach the 40s yet but I don't see any difference after using this eye cream. It doesn't do anything, just provide some hydration to the eye area. My dark circle and fine lines are still there. Not worth purchasing again.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lipglass in Lust
rated 5 of 5

This is now my fav lipgloss, and I don't really mind the tackiness which I suppose helps it stay longer. Doesn't dry out my super-dry lips. Looks perfectly natural.

Styling Products -Paul Mitchell - Straight Works
rated 5 of 5
kaisarchabor 6/30/2004 10:50:00 AM

An excellent styling gel for my wavy hair which is neither curly nor straight and difficult to manage. I received compliments and some thought that I permed my hair because I deliberately use it to style my natural curls for a change. Controls the frizz well too and leaves my hair soft and shiny.

Styling Products -Paul Mitchell - Sculpting Lotion
rated 2 of 5

This lotion didn't do a good job to calm the frizz and didn't hold my natural curls too well. I prefer Straight Works which did a much better job on my wavy hair and helps control the frizziness better.

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Ginger Glossimer
rated 1 of 5
kaisarchabor 5/22/2004 1:14:00 AM

This is my first Glossimer and could it be my last? Ginger shade is just ok (peach with subtle pink), looks lovely on the tube but a bit too light for my NC30 face, however it does not wash me out. I have to apply a slightly darker base lipstick under this gloss. I was very disappointed with the texture. It's one of the most drying lipgloss and the glossy effect does not last (only up to 2 to 3 hours even without eating/drinking) and I have to re-apply. Definitely won't repurchase.

Lipstick -Bobbi Brown - Nude
rated 3 of 5
kaisarchabor 3/29/2004 6:01:00 AM

Nude is a little peach/tawny shade. Certainly a YLBB for my pigmented lips. But only problem is it too dry for my lips up, even though I apply lipbalm first and then BB's Shimmer Gloss over it.

Loose Powders -T. LeClerc - Loose powder in Translucide
rated 5 of 5
kaisarchabor 3/29/2004 5:54:00 AM

This is an excellent powder for my oily/combination skin. I don't need to use foundation anymore with TLC powder. My skin didn't break out from using this powder. Don't have a problem with the packaging. Just need to be a little more careful. Initially I thought it was expensive but actually it's not too bad considering that it has lasted me almost 2 years with daily use. Will definitely repurchase.
