Hair Color -L'Oreal - Couleur Experte -hair dye / highlight

Steer clear of this product. I used 8.2 Iced Meringue on light to medium brown hair. Yuck! After using this lousy, hard to apply, product I had to make an appointment at a salon for color correction because my highlights turned a hideous orange. I called L'Oreal to to ask them why the highlighter (2nd step) didn't go light enough to match the blonde that's shown on the box (my real hair color isn't even all that dark) and they informed me that the highligher is not full strength bleach. It's essentially 'bleach light' to protect the safety of the consumer. Even though I left the 2nd step (highlighter) on for the longest time recommended it didn't lift to blond, just orange. I'm sorry that I used this product because of the poor cosmetic result and damage to my hair . From now on, I will let a professional do my highlights, even though it's costly. You should do the same. Please don't make the mistake that I did.
This is the BEST bronzer that I have ever used! I highly recommend it. I have tried all of the high end bronzers and this is the only one that doesn't make my fair skin look dirty, orange or glittery. It's almost mistake proof and can be built up without looking artificial when using a big fluffy brush. It's stays on exceptionally well. Worth every penny. I wish I had tried it years ago. It gives me a lovely sunbathed glow.
I would give this NO lippies if I could! I made an out of the way trip to get this product based on the positive reviews here. I'm sorry that I did that. It did absolutely NOTHING at all for my hair! I have a lot of fine, naturally wavy, dry, somewhat frizzy, highlighted hair. I used a very high end sulfate free shampoo and deep conditioner before applying this glaze. After my blow dry I saw no difference in the shine or texture of my hair. It actually feels like my hair is coated with something that makes it feel more dry and dull. Maybe this is better on virgin hair, but I hated it. It's going back to Sephora.
Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Ed Hardy Perfume - Love Kills Slowly Women's EDT

This is way too overpowered with a cheap, fruity smell. It smells like a kiddie fragrance to me. You are paying for the cool packaging, not the juice in the bottle. I sampled it at Macy's and I couldn't wait to get into the shower to scrub it off!
I was greatly anticipating this fragrance since I love violet scents. My all time favorite violets fragrances are: Annick Goutal La Violette and I Profumi di Firenze Violetta di Bosco. I tried Love In Black it at Neiman Marcus and it was love at first sniff. I got a sample, which I've worn several times. Sadly, it has very little lasting power on me. For the steep price of Creed I expected better sillage. I will not be inclined to purchase.

FANTASTIC! I'm a serum junkie. You name it, I've tried it. I absolutely LOVE this serum. I have found my HG and I'm never switching unless this is discontinued and that would be a sad day for me. I love the way this makes my hair feel. It has such nourishing ingredients and you don't need to use much. The smell of this serum is really nice. This serum is more runny/thin than most others, but that doesn't matter to me at all since it works so well. I've spoken to the owner of this company and he is a brilliant chemist and really cares about what goes into his products. The whole Loma Pearatin line is fantastic. The Hydrating Creme shampoo is truly wonderful! Why buy Pureology when the Loma Pearatin line is so much better? Check out the products in the line here: http://www.lomaforhair.com/products_pearatin.shtml

I just bought this and it's so yummy! It's my new fragrance for summer. Get it while you can as it's a LE and has been selling out everywhere! ***UPDATE*** I can't believe that I made such a big deal of this fragrance. I dont like it anymore. There is an underlying cheap/stinky Estee Lauder perfume smell to me. I gave it to mom. This is from the EL web site: Product Details: The fragrance that worships every inch of you. A sensuous, sun-drenched blend of Bergamot and Mandarin, cooled with Tahitian Gardenia Petals and Coconut, warmed with Amber, Sandalwood and Vetiver. All heat. All desire. All woman. Fragrance Type: Solar Floral Top Notes: Sun-Drenched Citrus Bright Sicilian Bergamot and Mandarin energize the introduction of the fragrance. Middle Notes: Intoxicating Flowers A heart of pure Tiare Milk captures a luxuriant tropical beach scent, reminiscent of Tahitian Gardenia Petals steeped in pure Coconut Oil. Sun-drenched Orange Flower Buds, bright Jasmine, creamy Magnolia Petals and droplets of Myrrh convey a relaxing, sensual feeling. Base Notes: Creamy Warmth A dash of luxurious Amber helps to sustain the warming sensation, elegantly enhanced by Sandalwood, smooth Vetiver, luscious Caramel and nourishing Coconut Cream.
THIS IS A KEEPER! And believe me, I'm the queen of the returns. I have this in Spring Plum. It's a very pretty shade which is pinkish plum, and reflects a wee bit of green. It has a subtle shimmer which I like. I know that sounds like an odd color, but it's very pretty. I have to layer this color fairly thick or on me it appears too pink when applied with just a light swipe. I like to bring out more of the plum and that requires some building. It brings out the blue/green in my eyes nicely. Unfortunately, it's the only shade that I can wear well in the line as I'm a mature woman who doesn't wear glitter, sparkly, or very shimmering eye shadow. I WISH that they had more neutral shades like browns, greys, and a nice beige (highlight color) without so much glimmer. I would buy a bunch more of these if they had some neutrals and less shimmer shades. I LOVE this formula! It goes on like a dream and no creasing. Stays on all day on me, but I don't have oily lids. Worth the price.
I'm a lip gloss addict. You name the gloss, I've tried it. I LOVE Senna glosses! They stay on for hours and hours. I love the color Lush and the color Dahlia. I will always go back to Senna Lip Lacquer. It's fabulous!
Gels/Soaps -Neutrogena - Comforting Butter Body Wash

Smells simply yummy, delicious, and almost edible. Feels great when lathering into skin. Skin feels soft and silky upon rinsing. I'm very picky and I cannot believe that I actually like this. I'll repurchase.
I must be in the minority on this scent. I do not like it. It smells cheap and kind of stinky (an old lady scent) to me. I find it to be a weak fragrance with little lasting power. I am a major violet fragrance fanatic. I do tend to prefer a sweet, candied violet scent that is not too green. I have sniffed many a violet fragrance. The ones that I really like, own, and will buy again are: Annick Goutal 'La Violette' (staying power could be better) and Il Profumi Di Firenze 'Violetta Di Bosco'.
Shampoo -L'Oreal - Nutri Gloss for medium to long hair thats damaged

This product was nothing special for me. I was SO excited to try this based on the reviews here! It's just another cheap shampoo with sodium laureth sulfate that left my hair dry and poufy.. I even used the tube of treatment in the same line and my hair was way too dry. I took back the shampoo and treatment to Rite Aid for a refund. I'll stick to sulfate free shampoos.
According to the Chanel SA at Nordstrom this has been discontinued.
Yawn. Boring! I jumped through hoops to obtain this hard to find, discontinued fragrance after reading the raves here on MUA. It seemed like a 'cult' fragrance that I just had to have. I bought it on Ebay from a woman in Germany (unsniffed) at an exhorbitant price. I eagerly waited 2 months for the bottle to arrive and what an extreme disappointment it was. It was VERY boring. I realize that the bottle that I bought may have been old since as I bought it in 2006 and the fragrance was released in 1999 as a ltd. edition. It had a very faint aroma and certainly was not an interesting rose. I really thought it was going to be something truly wonderful, but it was so bland and so light. I put it back up on Ebay and I thankfully sold it. Lancome just released the same perfume as a limited edition in May 2006 called 'Mille and Une Roses' for $125.00 for 1.7 oz. I am tempted to go test it at Saks to see if it may have a stronger aroma than what I bought on Ebay. Sadly, I expect it will still be a bland and not very fragrant scent. I will update if I sniff the new edition.
Fragrances -I Profumi di Firenze - Violetta de Bosco

Yummy! I love this violet! This fragrance is the only perfume that has ever had an aromatherapeutic effect on me. It makes me HAPPY! When I smell it I feel happy inside, giddy and content at the same time. I cannot get enough of it. I just want to keep spraying it. It's addictive for me. It reminds me of candied violets. It's a bit like a refined version of Choward's gum or violet mints, which I love. I love what 'AngelZoe' wrote about it! She said, "What violet wine would taste like, if it existed". What a perfect description! It's sort of a fruity, sweet violet. I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur of the violet fragrance since I love violet and I have tried so many. I was on a quest to find another violet since Annick Goutal ended their limited edition, (only sold at Nordstrom stores) of 'La Violette', which was absolutely beautiful. I tried many in my quest to find a substitute. I did not like Borsari Violetta Di Parma, Devon Violets, Houbigant Quelques Fleurs Violette, Thierry Mugler Angel Violet, Calypso Violette, Norma Kamali Violette, etc, etc. They all had either an inexpensive smell, not enough violet, or something an old biddy would wear. I was shopping in Barneys NY and I sniffed the Profumi Di Firenze Violetta De Bosco and I fell in love immediately and knew that I must have it! This is not an 'old lady' violet fragrance. It's young and sparkling to me, but it has an elegance and european aura. It's not a subtle fragrance and the sillage is very prominent for the first hour or two. But it calms down and unfortunately I cannot smell any remnant of it within about 5 hours. I do wish it had better lasting power. But, I love this delicious violet and any fragrance that makes me happy is a keeper!
