I got this in Megawatt Mauve. First, the color is not good with my skintone - a nude that's too warm, a dirty peach-beige (I thought 'mauve' is a cool, pink-based color?!?). The second problem for me was the smell, even after the np dried: a strong chemical odor, similar to Revlon's Colorstay np, which took more than 6 hours to go away despite multiple handwashings. I would only wear this on my toes, but definitely not in this color!

Love this colour! It's a not-too-bright shimmery red with a warm undertone. Normally shimmery red is associated with Christmas but I'm wearing this right now (it's spring) and it fits perfectly, I think because it's on the lighter side. It goes on nearly opaque in 1 coat and dries quickly. I wish the brush was a bit wider to make application quicker.

I just started using this and I'm so pleased with it I wanted to write a review right away! Perhaps unconventionally, I'm using this in my hair as a dry shampoo and it ROCKS. I have tried many kinds of dry shampoo (the spray kind) and all of them either smell bad or too strong, and I think all that alcohol can't be good for your hair. I've tried baby powder but I hate that smell (reminds me of tampons in the 80s...). I tried pure cornstarch and it's close to perfect but it's unscented and I do like a little scent, to cover up "dirty hair smell" LOL, and I have to transfer it into a shaker container. So this product is great! 1st ingredient is cornstarch, it's talc-free so no concerns with inhalation, and the fragrance is subtle and pleasant - I'm very scent-sensitive so this is a huge endorsement coming from me. P.S. if anyone's curious how I use it exactly - I sprinkle it into my crown area by making multiple parts with a comb, but not along my actual part b/c then the white residue is too noticeable and looks like gray roots... then I massage it in lightly all around my scalp, leave it for a few minutes, and brush it out with a boar bristle brush.

I really love this line in general but this colour was not right for me (fair with neutral undertones) - it was dull and "old"-looking and pulled an ugly orange brick colour.

As if the smell of petroleum jelly wasn't bad enough, this product is topped up with a fake, plastic-smelling "cocoa butter" scent for a combination that overwhelms whatever moisturizing benefits the cream might have. I realize I'm in the minority here as other reviewers rave about the smell, but if you're sensitive to scents like me, be sure to test this one out first!

Strong fake vanilla/cake scent (I'm sensitive to scents and can't stand to have something so close to my nose) + a clear yet frosty finish = definitely not a winner for me.

UPDATE April 2013. Taking off one lippie because the crunchiness factor seems to be increasing, maybe as the mascara dries out a bit? I'm actually very pleased with and pleasantly surprised by this mascara, as I wasn't expecting much from it at all, based on my past experiences with the Last Blast line (clumpy or do-nothing formulas, and not a fan of the giant silicone/rubber brush). This is WAY better than the other formulas in this line. It gives me thick, dark, long lashes that don't flake or smudge. I also love the spoon-shaped brush as it reaches all of my (previously curled) lashes at once, which saves time. It does not give a soft effect - the lashes are a bit crunchy to the touch - but who cares? They look fantastic. And, it washes off easily with just water. P.S. I don't love the size of these mascara tubes, as you don't get any more product, they just take up more space... but overall I can overlook that, plus I do love the bright spring green colour of the packaging.

This is very very strong. (Like all B&BW stuff.) It's not horrible but it's not good either, very sweet to the point of nausea for me. Sometimes gives me a migraine.

UPDATE April 2013. This chips a bit quickly and I now find the colour a bit too sheer and boring. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is the best $2 ever spent. I love these nailpolishes!!! They apply like a dream with the wide brush, dry fast, and last well. This colour is a sheer pinky nude with a bit of shimmer. I also appreciate that Essence bottles are small, since I have never in my 25 years of using nailpolish used up a whole bottle (before the polish got gummy or I got sick of the colour), so with this polish I don't feel I'm wasting any.

I'm on the fence. These babies definitely last. But, they are very tacky on the lips and look and feel quite dry. Also, the colour "Front Row" is way too light even for my pale skin, so I'm going to try to exchange it for a different shade.

I've never been a toner girl (other than as a teen... when I used Sea Breeze and 10-0-6 if anyone remembers those LOL). So I reluctantly got this based on the positive reviews and I have to say I am THRILLED with it. I don't put it on a cotton pad, but rather, as another reviewer suggested, I put a large drop in my palm and then use my fingers to spread it on my face - that way I don't waste any product. It feels like a hydrating drink for my dry, sensitive skin (it's winter here in Canada). I usually use it after the Earth Sourced cleansing gel, which I sometimes apply with my Clarisonic brush. My skin is loving this combination! It's smoother and less red than before. P.S. I also love that the product is truly unscented.

I like the colour and the packaging but unfortunately, like other reviewers have mentioned, this product smells bad, like wax crayons or rancid oil, and you can still smell it on your skin after you apply it. Admittedly, I am very scent-sensitive, so your mileage may vary.

UPDATE April 2013. I fell out of love with this. It started to feel too sweet/heady and cloying on me. I don't hate it but I definitely don't love it or even like it. ORIGINAL: On me, this smells warm and sonewhat sweet. Not really floral (which is OK by me). People on the frag boards have suggested that this is the old Neroli Jasmine re-packaged, but I disagree; I hated the neroli in that one (too sharp and citrusy) and I don't smell it in INJ. BTW I have the perfume oil, and I prefer that for spot application to pulse points.

I have a very keen sense of smell and one of my major issues with np is that some brands smell like chemicals much longer than others, even after the np has seemingly dried. This, sadly, is the case with Zoya polishes. I've tried several colours and they all stink to high heaven for many many hours (maybe they really are slower to dry thoroughly, as some other reviewers have complained?). So I can only use them on my toes (since my nose can't get close to them LOL) but for manicures, they're totally out.

Sadly, this particular colour was not a winner for me! I love the ethical stance of this company and the fact the n/p is 3-free. But while this is a pretty, warm-toned peachy-pink with slight shimmer, the formula took a very long time to dry completely (even when it was dry to the touch, it continued to smell like chemicals for at least 24 hours despite many hand washings). I also have this in "Kauai" (see my review) which seemed a lot better but I only tried it on my toes....
