Eyeliner -Urban Decay - Liquid Liner in Perversion

Great product. I have oily lids and I need a waterproof eyeliner or I get raccoon eyes. This has a very nice, thin brush. The formula does dry a bit shiny, but I don't have an issue with that. It does take a bit of time to dry. It does last all day. My eyeshadow will be creased, but my eyeliner looks perfect. I find a bit of rubbing with water will take this right off.
I really have a love/hats with this product. One one hand (pardon the pun), it dries my mani super fast. I've used it over different brands with no problem. I can use this, go to bed an hour later and no sheet marks. I usually apply a base coat plus 3 coats of color under. It works well as a top coat, I get tip wear with most polishes after 4 days, ive left a mani up to almost 2 weeks, and while there was extreme tip wear, still little to no chipping. The bad....it gets thick very quickly. I have some polish thinner and that seems to sort the problem. It does tend to drag the nail color. It is not very shiny. Because it is so thick, I have to be super careful to apply it well, I never do though and around my cuticles you can see the bare nail color.
Great stuff. Generous sizing. Yes, it smells just like lemon peel. Very lemony. Like the name indicates. This is fantastic for winter dried hands. Ive also been using it on my elbows and feet. Awesome. I will def repurchase. A little goes a long way. My cuticles have never looked better.
I've had it with the poor quality of MAC nail lacquer. I used this as my color base coat. I applied THREE coats over my usual base coat, then on top I applied a coat of sparkle lacquer, then my usual top coat. My manis usually last over a week before I get tip wear. 2 days later, I am not only getting tip wear, but chipping as well. Unfortunately I got this as part of a mini set, so I cant even use it for Back 2 Mac. I've learned my lesson though. I don't care how pretty the color is, I won't be buying any more Mac nail lacquer. Product also easily separates, goes on very streaky, hence the 3 coats, and the brush is both too long and too stiff.
Great color. I love he micro-glitter. The only drawback is the formula is sheer. I applied 3 coats and got good coverage, but on my darker skin it just didn't contrast enough with my skin. The color is stunning though and the glitter is wowza! I applied it over a darker cream color and it is now perfection. It is darker and yet the same. I love it.
Pretty basic eyeshadow. It has good pigmentation. Not great, but very good. The colors go on silky, with no chalkiness or clumpiness. The colors last the workday with no creasing, though I do notice a small amount of creasing later in the night. Overall good wear. I will buy more of these, I got them in a kit and it was a good deal. I also really like how the color is swatched on the bottom so no need to read, like in other packaging.
I really like this product. I cannot wear the traditional extended wear lipcolors as they get very flaky on my lips, I have a lot of tiny lines on my lips and I guess they just make those lipcolors flake up, also I have major issue with traditional lipsticks bleeding into these fine lines. I tried this and I was very happy with it! I wear a MAC lustreglass over it and it keeps my lips hydrated and the color lasts and lasts! I have a job with a lot of public speaking and I don't get a lot of opportunity throughout the day to reapply my lip color and this stays on all day, drinking and eating lunch! I also love this color, it's my perfect red. Great for everyday. I'll definitely get more of these in other colors.
Average product. I didn't find it very moisturizing, at the end of the day I had flaking on my lips which I hate. I got this in Plum, it is a very pretty color. I love the color and I love the finish, a shimmer with little to no sparkle. So I love the color, and I love the finish, but it is a bit drying.
Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control

Best...Scrub...Ever. What, you need to hear more? it's cheap, you can get it anywhere and everywhere, it works like a champ, no more dry scaly bits and it has the salicylic acid for acne control. The only thing is I wish it came in a totally recyclable container. I love this, I have been using it for close to 4 years, and I'll keep using it until they stop making it.
I love it! Okay, now why do I love it? I despise pencils, not enough control. I like control, a sharp line and winged eyeliner (I know---so dated). My favorite eyeliner is a cake using a fixative product, that way I don't get raccoon eyes. Then my cake got old, then my fixative got old. I started buying other liquid liners and the "new" gel liners. I found all these products tended to smudge on my oily skin. It I also travel a lot, so what I really wanted was a liquid liner, with fine control, that was waterproof and would not smudge. This liner is liquid, and the brush tip offers fine control. Many liquid liners I find are a bit more difficult to work with, but the Shiseido works very well. This product also does not smudge. I don't know if it is "waterproof", but it does not smudge under my eyes. I really like the pen style and I love the fact I can buy a refill. The only negative is that it took a few days of use for the soft black to appear as a soft black and not a weird green color. Now I make sure to shake the pen before I click. I was hoping to repurchase the refill in a black color,. but it doesn't look available anywhere. I'm just abut ready to throw out all those gel liners I got. They look great, but smudge in a few hours.
This is my fav. red of the moment! It turns a bit pink on me, but I layered it over a Sephora pencil in 130 ( a cherry-wine shade), which darkened the red a tad. It made it more wearable for work :) It is an Amplified, so it stays nice and creamy, with lots of pigment. I love it. The only drawback it the horrible sticker! I should just rip it off already!
Skincare - Face -Clinique - Acne Solutions Line (all products)

Very Drying. I wanted to love this. I am a type III in Clinique, but I have been having some pretty bad breakouts lately. I got the sample kit of this and I am very glad I did. This has really dried out my skin, I am in disbelief! I have DRY skin! Me! I have skin actually flaking off my face, it is so dry. With all this dryness, I am STILL getting a few pimples, but it has gotten better. Now I just have dry skin. EDIT: Okay, I see I need to change my opinion on this product as I now use it all the time. It is a bit drying, that is true. I need to make sure I add moisture back after I use this. For the mega breakouts I get at that time of the month, this really does a good job and keeps things down. I really like the toner and I use the lotion only at night. I usually have to add a second moisturizer around my eyes and mouth or they get really dry.
I thought I just didn't try the right brand. I have tried the Bourjois, the Sephora, the Cover Girl and the Revlon versions. They all flaked, wore unevenly and looked horrible hours later. If you bill a lipcolor as being long last, then it should last long. While I am writing this, I may not rub my lips together because I am sure that will rip the color off and cause it to pill. If I smile you can see the "cracks" in the color coat. When I applied it, 5 hours ago, I did make sure to stretch my lips and I got a nice even coat of color. Now I have a cracked mess. Around the inner portion of my lips, where they meet, the color has also worn off, leaving a very clear color/no color boundary. I wouldn't even know how to reapply the color coat as I have all this gloss that I have been dutifully reapplying as "necessary" all over my lips.
The good. I love the color, Alta Moda. When I return this to MAC, I'll look for a dup. maybe they have in the Cult of Cherry collection. The color does last. Most people don't even notice the uneven wear, I asked one of my coworkers and she didn't notice until I pointed it out AND leaned in. My lips do not feel dry, I am sure once I take this off, my lips will be fine and not a dry, cracked mess.
Bottom line. I am sure that these will work for some, just not for me. I really wanted to wear a deep lipcolor without all the transfer all over my coffee cups. In all fairness, I'll give this one another try before I return it. I love the color that much.
I thought this did everything it advertised. No clumping even after 5-6 coats, and it did have build able volume. Honestly, I think this works as good as much more expensive products. At least I only spent 1.99 on it instead of spending 25 for a similar products that does the same for me.
I have short, sparse lashes so I am pretty picky about mascara, and they all seem to do nothing for me. I can layer this mascara on, it doesn't clump, and it removes easily enough.
I have just past shoulder length, very naturally curly (4B), and color treated hair. When I want to wear it straight I blow dry, followed by a flat iron. I like using balms to give my hair a little help for making it straight. This product worked very well. I only needed a dab per section of hair, and using a round brush and the comb attachment of my blow dryer, I was able to get my hair much smoother and straighter than before. My hair is also very soft and floaty in a way that other, thicker products did not leave it. I love the smell and this gel is so light and leaves no sticky residue on my hands and blow dryer. It is expensive, but I think this tube will last me a long time.
