this stuff has a nice creamy texture that easily spreads and is quite effective as a moisturizer but it also clogged up my pores and made my face look "dirty". had to stop using it.

Moisturizers -Garnier - Pure A Daily Treatment Moisturiser

for the past 2 months that i have been using this, i didn't like the way how my skin looked. i have been using paula's choice 2% BHA and had great results with that. but i thought i'd try this since it also contains salicylic acid (BHA) and it also moisturizes the skin but unfortunately didn't get any good results with this. yes my skin didn't feel dry like what we normally get from using (BHA) but it also clogged every pore on my skin specially on my nose. i'm now back to paula's choice and my skin is starting to look alot better. but i did like the gel texture, fresh cucumber scent and the squeeze tube packaging of this product, but thats about it.
this product is rubbish. it's nothing more like a concealer really. you might as well just put a concealer as an eyeshadow base if your planning on using this. yes it does help the eyeshadow apply smoothly compared to not putting any base at all but it already creases on me after 2 hrs. i will try to use this as a concealer and see if it works otherwise this is a totally useless product.
i am once again disappointed at maybelline mascaras. this one didn't do anything to my eyelashes other than making it look darker and that's about it, no volume, no lengthening whatsoever.
i bought #32 which is the perfect size for my eyes. this has got to be the most natural looking false eyelashes i have ever used. it doens't overwhelm my entire face. i also love the packaging. the only thing i don't like is that the band is light colored and it is pretty obvious if i look closely.
too frosty. no way!
this is my second fluidline and i wanted to like this, i really do but the color just does not look right on me. i fell in love with it when i swatched it on my hand but on my eye it just looks ...ugh! for reference im NC 42 (summer) with golden undertone, black hair and very dark brown eyes. if that sounds like you then you might want to try this one first before dropping some cash. i'm putting mine up for a swap.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - HIP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner in Midnight Blue

i normally cannot pull off a blue shade of any kind of eye make up without it looking really wrong on me so this shade was a nice surprise. this is a beautiful shade of royal blue with a hint of purple. not a flat boring blue but not metallic either. in terms of staying power, this is almost as good as MAC's fluidline. i have worn this for 8 hrs straight and it hardly smudge or slide off considering how oily my eyelids are. but in terms of texture and color payoff i have to say MAC's fluidline is still the winner. with l'oreal i find myself dipping the brush several times to get the right color intensity and the texture is also a bit crumbly. however, this is still a nice substitute if you cant afford MAC's fluidline. the brush that came with it is not really suitable for applying liquid eyeliner. its too hard and too stiff and too scratchy but i found it to be an excellent brush to use in applying my MAC brow shader.
this is my first fluidline and i am liking it a lot. the texture is very smooth and creamy. staying power is awesome. wore this 8 hrs straight and it didn't smudge at all. i am really bad at applying liquid eyeliner so i only use them when i really have to but i find MAC's fluidline a lot easier to apply. dipdown looks dark brown on my eye but not as harsh and intense as blacktrack.
how can someone not like this? first of all the bottle is really nice. it looks like a small block of ice. and the scent? oh i love it. this is one of the most gorgeous scent i have come across with recently. when i smelled this at the store i did not doubt about buying it and since then i have been reaching for this almost everyday. for me this is the perfect summer scent. bright, crisp, clean and fresh aquatic scent. just the way how i want to smell like.
for me this is really nothing special. in the pan it looks shimmery peachy beige. i feel in love with it when i swatched it on my hand but on my eyelids it looks very similar to my shroom. both works same as a highlighter and as an overall wash but for some reason naked lunch creases so much compared to shroom and i find it hard to spread. i'm putting mine up for a swap. i dont really need this.
this is a very vivid shimmery darkish green which can be hard to pull off if you are not used to wearing bright colored eye shadows and specially if you have a very fair skin but i think it can be worn on daytime if applied lightly. i just got this recently so im still experimenting. i do like this shade, i think it suits my NC35 skin but i dont see myself wearing this regularly. i think i will save this as a night time going out eyeshadow or for special occassion.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Hemp Hand Protector

oh my gawd! what a stinker. i don't care how moisturizing this product is. the smell just makes me sick. i put some of this on my hand while i was at the body shop and i thought it felt wonderful so i bought one tube and shopped around the mall. after a while i can smell an awfully strong scent and started to feel slightly nauseous like i want to gag or something and i remembered this! i went straight to the bathroom and washed my hands and started to feel better. i went to the body shop and return this stinky product. though this is moisturizing i cant afford to feel sick every time i use this.
what a lovely clean, fresh floral scent this is. i bought this without sniffing as i got attracted to the packaging. this one definitely looks expensive and smells expensive. the dry down smells kinda soapy with a hint of sweetness just like the scent when you come out of the shower. i can definitely see myself reaching for this often.
