Sunscreen -Shiseido - Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion + Broad Spectrum Spf 50+
rated 3 of 5

I purchased this mainly due to the high spf of 50. This left a whitish cast on my skin and caused my combination skin to breakout. It is a very light, milky lotion with a light fragrance.

Lotions/ Creams -Dr. Hauschka - Almond Body Moisturizer
rated 4 of 5

This is a lovely, soft almond scented moisturizer. I like how quickly it absorbs in, leaving my skin soft and smooth. The ingredient list is awesome, loads of good for the skin oils, herbs and flower waters. The only downside for me is the price. $39.95 for 4.9 oz is just too much for me to pay. Definitely a luxury product.

Cleansers -Bare Escentuals - RareMinerals Purifying Facial Cleanser with ActiveSoil Complex

Not a good cleanser. While it did not leave my face dry and tight, it left my face feeling unclean. I like Neaclear cleansers, Avene or my HG cleanser, Loreal Youth Code much, much better than this one.

Treatments -Algenist - Multi-Perfecting Pore Perfector Concentrate
rated 2 of 5
flairgirl8 5/12/2013 3:42:00 PM

I use AHA, BHA and retinol daily with no problems. Algenist Pore Perfector irritated my skin. Contains the over-hyped alguronic acid, Bellis Perennis to brighten skin and lens esculenta which is supposed to minimize pore size ( but does not).

Treatments (Eye) -Origins - GinZing
rated 2 of 5

This is a pearlized peach-tinted eye cream with a host of herbal extracts. This stung my eye area, leaving a shiny glow to highlight my fine lines. Did nothing for dark circles or undereye puffiness. I much prefer the combination of Dr. Lewinn eye treatment and Own eye cream.

BB Cream -Smashbox - Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35
rated 3 of 5

I tried a sample of this in the light, which I thought was pretty dark. This BB cream is nice for combination to oily skin types as I found that it did help to control oil throughout the day. It is very light coverage and does not last as long as Clinque CC cream on me.

Masks -Unlisted Brand - Sudden Change-Green Tea Facial Mask
rated 5 of 5
flairgirl8 5/4/2013 6:28:00 PM

I use this everyday and consider it to be "food" for my face. It is a bentonite clay mask with glycerin, green tea extract and hydrolyzed soy protein in it. It is a creamy green product that you leave on the skin for 5 to 10 minutes. My skin feels hydrated and happy after use. This is not drying or irritating at all. The only info I could find on the sodium cocoyl hydrolized protein was that it is supposed to be hydrating and add texture and resilency to the skin. It really seems to tone my skin.

Brows -Laura Geller - Brow Marker
rated 1 of 5
flairgirl8 5/4/2013 6:16:00 PM

This has to be a joke. The brow marker is like using a felt tip pen that has dried out and barely lays down any color. Any color that actually applies to the skin is either going to change color on you are mysteriously disappear. I do not return many products, but this is one of them.

Eyeliner -Ulta - Extreme Wear Gel Liner in Smoke

Love this metallic smokey gray color. It applies like a dream and lasts all day on me. The container does tend to dry out quickly though.

Pressed Powders -LORAC - porefection
rated 4 of 5

I typical use Clinique Almost foundation in fair but wanted to try this in the lightest color. It applies smoothly to the skin and does not cause my skin to breakout. The color is a tad to yellow and dark for my porcelain pink skin.

Misc Beauty Tools -Japonesque - Power Curl Eyelash Curler
rated 5 of 5
flairgirl8 5/4/2013 6:09:00 PM

I have always used drugstore eyelash curlers. This Japonesque curler was on sale at Ulta, so I thought I'd give it a go. Turns out, I love it! Gives nice curl without pinching.

Conditioner -DermOrganic - Masque Intensive Hair
rated 2 of 5
flairgirl8 5/4/2013 6:06:00 PM

This was an average hair treatment. I did not notice anything special about it. L'oreal everstrong and eversleek deep conditioners work better for my very fine, dry hair.

Gels/Soaps -Softsoap - Vineyard Escape Scrub
rated 4 of 5
flairgirl8 5/4/2013 6:04:00 PM

Oh my gosh, I totally agree with the previous reviews in that the scent reminds me of my childhood. Goofy grape, anyone? This is an awesome exfoliating bath gel. It has tiny scrubbies, but lots of them so using this daily provides mild exfoliation without irritation. In a pinch, I have used this on my face. Like the fragrance, the exfoliation and the cleanser.

Lotions/ Creams -Burt's Bees - GUD Body Lotion Pearanormal Activity

Smells strongly of very synthetic pear and tropical fruit, like guava. Less than average as a moisturizer.

Treatments (Eye) -Unlisted Brand - Madre Labs Regenerating Eye Treatment
rated 3 of 5
flairgirl8 4/30/2013 11:23:00 AM

This is a nice emollient eye cream containing antioxidants. I went through two containers of this and did not notice any change in my eye area whatsoever. Too priced to keep using when is is performing as a basic moisturizer for me.
