The mascara does not add volume, but it definitely holds the curls for a whole day (and btw, my eyelashes are the short Asian kind that tend to point downwards). I agree with the other reviewers that you really should apply with a light hand to avoid clumping. Will definitely purchase again.
Mascara -Korres - Provitamin B5 & Rice Bran Mascara

This was a good mascara, but not great. I like the brush, which separated my straight Asian lashes nicely. It does a good job in defining my lashes, and I like defined lashes rather than voluminous lashes anyway. However, I found that it can get flaky.
I wish this mascara had worked out for me. It looked great on my straight Asian lashes for the first 10 minutes. And then it started smudging. REALLY SOON.
Eyeliner -Bobbi Brown - Espresso Ink Long Wear Gel Eyeliner

The perfect colour for my dark eyes: not too light and not too dark. Does not smudge easily and usually last me the day. To apply, I use a Shu Uemura eyeliner brush.
I have combination skin (oily T-zone, normal-dry cheeks). Sometimes I only apply the mask on my T-zone, and other times I use it for my whole face. Highly satisfied with its cleansing powers, and it is not irritating at all. I don't think I will be switching to another mud mask, until I miraculously find something that can be even better than this one.
Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Veet - Hair Removal Creame - Sensitive Formula
faustine 1/21/2007 3:54:00 PM
I bought this removal gel cream on sale for about USD $7.50 today just to see what it's like. Left it on my legs for about 5 minutes and used the attached bladeless razor. Hair came right off, and legs feel smooth now. My skin rarely reacts to products, so with this sensitive formula there wasn't any irritation at all for me. I'm quite happy with this and will definitely purchase this again.
Moisturizers -L'Occitane - Daily Face Cream Olive Oil
faustine 10/6/2006 5:36:00 PM
I have combination skin/T-zone, and this cream may be too heavy for those oily areas during the summer. However, I think for the winter it would be my lifesaver (since the winter is pretty harsh where I live).
Cleansers -L'Occitane - Olive Oil Daily Face Cleanser
faustine 10/6/2006 5:24:00 PM
I was first introduced to L'Occitane's Olive Harvest line by their SPF daycream. At the time my skin for a several months had been, for some unknown reason, really sensitive with some reddish spots and the occasional blemishes. I tried several lines of skincare from different companies, but the only one that worked was Olive Harvest. The cleanser is very gentle, but effective at removing impurities and etc. It smells nice, and isn't too pricey. My skin has greatly improved since then; I must say that it is starting to have a healthy glow :) will definitely purchase this again.
It isn't great, but it isn't bad. It moisturizes, but it doesn't give my skin that glow like some other products have. For one thing, it's a great thing to have on long plane flights.
I personally love this product. It's actually the first set of eye shadow I've ever owned in my life, and I'm still using it. I find all four colours really useful for my single-eyelids. The dark brown works well as a subtle eyeliner, and the other 3 lighter colours help illuminate my lids. Will definitely repurchase again and again.
A bit tricky to use at first, but got used to it after a while. The texture is nice, and it is really cheap afterall. Seems to do the same thing as my previous Lancome mascaras (so no complaints). The only reason why I won't repurchase this is because I want to try out other Rimmel mascaras.
My feelings about Benetint is mixed. Pros: it does give off a natural flush (if applied properly), rosewater smells great, never seems to run out. Cons: it costs more than it should, hard to apply properly upon first trials. I got best results when I drew three parallel, horizontal 1-inch straight lines across the apples of my cheek, and quickly blend them (stroking away from face) in with my middle finger. still haven't decided if I would repurchase this product (if it ever runs out).
Lotions/ Creams -Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula Foot Cream
faustine 10/15/2005 10:15:00 PM
I do a lot of walking, and I live in a city that gets down to -30 celcius in the winters. I'm so glad that I discovered it last winter, and I'm definitely keeping it by my side this year too. Right after it's applied, my feet instantly feels softer. The texture of the Norwegian forumula line probably isn't so great for hands, but is definitely fantastic for feet.
It's really not as orange as the name suggests. Peachy pink infused with gold glitters, looks great for a night out. A fun product to have, I think I will repurchase this item (if I ever run out that is).
Eyeliner -Rimmel - Exaggerate Full Colour Eye Definer (all colours)
faustine 10/13/2005 4:41:00 PM
For the quality I'd put it at a 4, but add on the price factor... 5-star product it is. I have this in 211 sable, and the texture and colour is quite pleasing. It's easy to apply and stays on all day. I appreciated Rimmel's convenient packaging and the sharpener they included. Will definitely purchase again.
