I just cannot contain my excitement last night. I have just finished the last bit of my regular cream clay mask and suddenly remembered my purchase of this some months back. After reading the instructions to wet my face, I proceeded to apply the bar paying attention to the oilier T-zone. With just leaving this on the face as a mask for 5 minutes, I rinse this off. Viola.. smooth skin. This bar may look ordinary but really delivers.

Moisturizers -Darphin - Arovita C Cream [DISCONTINUED]

All thanks to the recommendation from a lovely MUAer here, I am now hooked on the Darphin Arovita C cream. Initially, I was a little apprehensive. Most night creams are too oily for me and this does look heavy in the glass pot. Luckily, my very sensitive skin loves it. No mother zits have emerged so far and my complexion seems to be much clearer. Friends even commented that I look more radiant-not exactly sure if it is because of this. Still worth every penny in my opinion.

Use this sparingly if you don't have thick hair. It weighs down my hair quite a bit even when I use only half a pump of this at any one time. Usually, I apply this only to the ends of my hair after shampoo or use a little to tidy any fly-aways. This is not too greasy but more suitable for someone with thick dry hair.

I love this body creme. Judging from the bottle, I had expected the texture to be heavy but this is surprisingly light and extremely easily absorbed. The sweet scent last throughout the night when I put it on before bed and I can smell it the next morning. Will definitely purchase this again.

Skincare - Face -SKII - Facial Whitening Cloth

I love this product. I have tried other brands that are more than half its price and yet they don't come close to the quality of this. This face cloth is not too rough and to save cost, I usually cut each piece into quarters. This helps to get rid of the final traces of makeup in my double cleanse routine.

Treatments (Eye) -La Mer - Eye Balm [DISCONTINUED]

I was at the counter contemplating for over half an hour whether to get this or not. A lady who was browsing near by stood beside me and commented this was the only eye balm that had worked for her and her friends. I didn't think twice and got this. Sorry to say, it did nothing to my dark undereye circles. This would be excellent for anyone with dry areas around their eyes rather. For the price, I should be expecting miracles.

Fragrances -Annick Goutal - Petite Cherie

I got an sample vial of it initially and thought I would love it to death. Luckily, this full bottle of Petite Cherie came from a swap. The smell was refreshing at first but somehow, I always end up with a headache when I wear it. Smells like I just came out of the washer.

Moisturizers -Awake - Hydro-Force Oil Free Treatment

This moisturiser is so light weight. Perfect for the summer months which equates to the weather here. It absorbs easily and is not oily. Works well for oily complexion and when you just need a tiny bit of moisturising at certain parts of the face.

Skincare - Face -Awake - Deep Purity Clay Wash

One of my favorite facial scrubs and possibly one of the best I ever used. Grains are not too coarse and it foams well. I use this twice a week to minimise clogged pores and so far, it has been working well. It leaves a squeeky clean feel after use so may not be very suitable for dry skin. Will definitely get this again.

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Green Tea Cucumber lotion or cream

My SO got this for me as a present while on his business trip. The green tea and cucumber combination is so refreshing. The lotion is so light and easily absorbed that it is absolutely suitable for the weather here. If only I can get this easily here.

I bought this during my 'All things shimmer' phase. Love the very subtle green tea fragrance. I thought this would be nice for the weekends. But alas, the shimmers are a little too much for day time. Guess I will not repurchase this.

This seems to work better for me than those from Paula's Choice. Not too drying or sticky. The problem with my clogged pores seem to have reduced but not gone completely. Will repurchase if not for the hefty shipping.

Gels/Soaps -Fresh - Soy Formula f21c Shower Foam w/Soy Protein

I love Fresh products but this one sadly is an exception. Slight citrus smell but nowhere near what Soy should smell like. Although it didn't dry me out, it really doesn't produce much foam either. For the price tag, I am expecting better results.

Think chocolate milk shake, think Fresh chocolate milk body lotion. I love the scent. Smells yummy and is perfectly suitable for use in such weather here. Not greasy at all and is lightly moisturising. I bought the pump too so getting to the stuff in the glass bottle was not a problem. Will definitely re-purchase.

Why did it take this long for me to discover the wonders of this Tweezerman slant tweezer? It is very difficult to find where I live and yes they are expensive. This tweezer picks up even the finest hair. Nothing comes close to this.
