Oh my word this is awesome conditioner. I have fine thin hair. I use it on my ends/past my ears and couple times a week all over. I have never had such healthy shiny conditioned hair before. I am hesitant to use conditioner because of how thin and fine my hair is...but not with this stuff. The smell does not even bother me at all, I don't know what all the fuss is about that part of it. Worth every penny, I only use a small amount. I got several bottles on clearance at Ulta and super stoked to have enough for quite sometime. I keep a small travel size in my spare bathroom and guests in my home have also fallen in love with it.
Favorite DS mascara. This does not clump, flake, and gives a very natural look. Great everyday mascara. Highly recommend.
Eye Shadow -Chanel - Soft Touch Eyeshadow - Ombre Essentielle - Ivory
dawnzartandlife 11/19/2012 7:50:00 PM
This is one of my favorite eyeshadows ever. I have loved Urban Decay and LORAC for years and this was my first Chanel. Lovely buttery consistency buildable with great pigment quality. I have been using it as a browbone highlighter with great abandon. I am quite fair and this is a pretty pearly white cream with just the right amount of shimmer. LOVE!! Brings out the whites of my eyes as a highlighter but not too much.
I have several different LORAC shadows. One of her round style baked w/ the three colors, several from kits, and singles. Her shadows are under-rated in my opinion. They are deeply pigmented, rich, buttery, and buildable. I think they are worth the money. I don't always agree with most on that point, but with LORAC eyeshadows I most definitely do think they are worth every penny. They last a long time, and the pay off is awesome. I have tried lots of high end shadows and these are my favorite. Do not hesitate to pick some up. Love Carol Shaw/LORAC!
I picked this up after reading so many rave reviews. I also got a sample from a nice swapper to test it out. I picked up this giant bottle which I thought may last my lifetime, until I read all the reviews using it for calloused feet as well. Genius, It is a great product, Great quality, tons of bloggers rave about it too.
I have several TheBalm products and love this line. I disagree that this is too dark, I am very fair and this is a pretty rosy blush that is deeply pigmented. I do think it is buildable. I have a few other blushes that I reach for more, but this is fast becoming a favorite too.
I love this highlighter for your brows. I just bought a kit and it is a Brow Duality with Matte Camille and Sand Shimmer. I bought the kit and for just a few bucks more than the Brow Duality alone, I also got a mini tweezers, Brow Pencil and Brow Gel (which I won't use) I think Anastasia is a bit pricey, but the quality is there and this little kit was hard to pass up. I am fair but have dark brunette hair and brows. I love both the ends of this highlighter and will certainly buy it again. It is a great universal shade that makes doing up my brows perfect, easy, and quick. What more can you ask for?
I agree with the comment below this one. After seeing the countless legions of MAC devotees, I was really anticipating great eye shadow. I was left disappointed. I think the pigmentation is not great, and the hype not worth it at all. Urban Decay, Lorac, Lancome, etc are far better for the color payoff, buildability, and no fall out. Sorry girls, I can't agree. No need to go there...mine is on my swaplist..
I have been trying tons of BB and TM, this one does come out greyish and then blends into your tone. It would only work for fair skinned girls like me. I like the blending and consistency, did not break me out. It could use a little more coverage for me, but overall above some of the others out there. A generous swappers RAOK a sample, I was so smitten I had to get it, would definitely re-purchase. There is a difference between USA and Korean BB Creams. Great product.
Mascara -LORAC - Multiplex 3D Lashes Volumizing & Thickening Mascara

someone below wrote "Luckily, I got this as part of the Close Up set for $39 and really love every product in it besides this. If I had spent $22 on this outside of the set, I'd be returning for sure." Ditto, I agree! Honestly, I adore Lorac Products, but this mascara is to blame for flaking in my eyes/contact lenses more than once. In the garbage it goes, and will not be purchasing. I have tried several HE mascaras and this one is not one to top any type of list I have.
Mascara -Jordana - Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara
dawnzartandlife 10/23/2012 7:51:00 PM
After reading the reviews here, I have finally bought this mascara by Jordana. A helpful Walgreens Cosmetics Manager mentioned that after a month of use or so, to warm it up by letting the bottom part of the package sit in a short glass of warm (not boiling) water for a bit while you are in the shower or whatever... and wow if that isn't the niftiest trick. It goes on like butter. it really is a thick, rich, glossy, volumizing mascara. Did I mention it was $2.99, how can you pass that up??
I received a mini mascara from a very kind MA at the Dior Counter. I was excited to try it for free after reading so many rave reviews here on MUA. I was wowed by the brush, and the full and soft quality of the mascara. I would not spend the money again although, I think there are too many less expensive options out there. I did think it was a great mascara, but it is not necessary to spend that much when you don't have to. If money is not a concern, than buy it with no worries.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Waikiki Aloe Brand + Save a Tan
dawnzartandlife 10/5/2012 11:51:00 AM
I have been using this line of products for over 15 years. Based in Hawaii, the company called Waikiki Aloe has a After Sun Moisturizer called "Save A Tan" It is excellent and I have never found a better option. It is highly concentrated Aloe and other moisturizers. If you have recieved a sunburn and apply this product you will not peel. We have been ordering online from this company for years and always have it around. I live in AZ, and cannot tell you the amount of houseguests we have who get sunburned, and every one of them get handed this bottle and are immediately turned into fans. It will make your tan last longer hence the name, it will help heal a sunburn, and of course is an excellent moisturizer in general. If you go to Hawaii they have stores in Waikiki and Kaanapali/ Maui. Their sunscreens are great too, but this product is a staple at our house. Highly recommend!! go to waikikialoe.com
This is my favorite self tanner. I have tried a lot of other brands, some more expensive, some less expensive. The things I like the most are the color it is when you apply so you can see where it goes, the natural tan on my fair skin it gives, and the brush applicator from bare escentuals. I think you have to get past the smell of all self tanners. Initially this one is great, and the smell afterward, I don't notice so much on me. I got a big pump and the brush as a kit off QVC. It was a great deal. It lasts a long time. The only problem I have with most self tanners is for my legs. You eventually have to shave your legs and you remove all your self tanner whether you want to or not. I wish there was some way around that. I will buy again, but trying another brand someone raves about is certainly an option as well.
This is my first Laura Mercier blush. I have it in Tender Mauve. It is a dusty rose matte color that is perfect for me. It has pretty good staying power. I love that the compact is tiny, so I can use this one in my purse. Great pigmentation, and I have so many favorites that I found here on MUA, this one needs some more trials to make it to the top of my list, but highly recommended.
