This is one of those lipsticks that I bought just "because". It was not overly original in the packaging nor was it a color that was heavily hyped up online. But after purchasing and wearing a few times it became one of my faves. It's not too frosty and is neural enough to be a nude on my skintone. And if I wear a gloss on top it tones down the frost even more. I love it and I don't even need a liner. This color won't be for everyone because it is a frost and I know that frosts automatically scare some people away. But if don't mind a frost and love a brown type neutral, then this is a winner
This is good stuff. As a beauty product collector that is slowly trying to downsize I really appreciate products that have multiple uses. I was actually going to toss it while cleaning a drawer but decided to go to the mirror to try it out again. Very pretty on the eyes and also a face highlighter. But on the face you really have to blend properly to keep from looking overly frosty. I'd forgotten all about it as it was lost in the sea of cosmetics that I call my drawer. This color works quite nice with my skin color so it's a keeper.
Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil

LOVE this stuff. I currently have it in my nightstand drawer and I love to just apply it over and over. So soft and moisturizing! I have tried my fair share of lip balms and I can say this is one of the best. I'm not really a Burt Bees user but discovered this in a set and fell in love. I'm using this one and the Honey at the same time. The honey one floats around from room to room whenever I need it. That's rare for a product.... for me to love it so much and have multiples that I'm using at the SAME time. Says a lot for the product. I want to try other flavors/formulas in the balm to see if they are all equally as pleasing.
Mascara -Bare Escentuals - Flawless Definition Volumizing mascara

I wanted to like this mascara but I just can't seem to get into it. Its not completely bad but it dosent do much for me. I don't really notice a big difference and I've used it with and without primer. I'll keep using it until it runs out because its not entirely that bad but I won't buy it again
Maybe I'm lazy but if this brush is in my reach I will use it for everything to keep from grabbing multiple brushes. I use it to highlight, bronze and blush. It's a great size and very versatile. I reach for it ALL the time. Not scratchy feeling at all.
Bronzers -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish - Golden Lariat
cocodivatime 10/23/2011 1:40:00 AM
This is one of those wonder products that if I only had it in my makeup bag with nothing else I would be ok (and a brush to apply it) I absolutely LOVE this msf. It bronzes, blushes and highlights. Perfection. The bronzey middle bronzes nicely and warms me up, the bottom reddish tone I swipe over my cheeks for a blushey tone and the top shimmer color makes a nice highlight. I don't understand why this product was not more popular. The only thing that I don't care for is the Wonder woman packaging. It's very juvenille looking. I wouldnt pull this out at a dinner table to touch up. But then again its not polite to touch up your makeup at the table so nevermind. But you get my point. LOL!
This mascara is a super wet formula. Takes a long time to dry and even after it dries my lashes still look wet and spidery. Like I've been crying and have wet lashes. Not exactly the look ones goes for when they reach for mascara. And if I wear this mascara and don't have a eyelash comb I am in trouble! Too many of my lashes stick together due to the wet formula so I need to comb them through to separate. I will keep using it until it runs out because its not that bad. Just nothing that I would buy again. I may try the primer by itself and see how it works out.
LOVE this color. Have only worn it on my toes so far but recevied so many compliments. My sister even went searching for similar dark colors for her toes too after seeing this one I will reach for this time and time again. Whats not to love? I wear what I like no matter the season but this makes a beautiful fall/winter pedicure when you want to give bright colors a break
Dolce Vita blush is one of my favorites so I had high hopes for this gloss. Wrong! It was too thick, more like lipstick than gloss. Some may like that kind of consistency but it didnt work for me. Not with this color. I don't mind a thicker gloss but this was just all wrong for me and the color was not great on my skin tone. It came out too mauvey. I'm glad that all of the NARS glosses are not super thick like this one. Maybe the consistency varies with different colors. I hate to give an NARS item such a low rating but nothing about this item worked for me
Makeup Brushes -MAC - #168 Large Angled Contour Brush

This is a must have if you use MAC brushes. I love this brush. I use maily for blush only and have found success picking up more color on certain products than my other blush brushes. I prefer to use this brush with my MAC blush ombres and a few select other blushes because I get more color payoff. I'm not really sure why but it just works better Several times I've used a blush with my MAC 129, 116 or some other brush and though that I didnt like the color. But then I've used that exact same blush with the 168 and got a totally different look which I loved. perhaps its the type of hair that its made from. Don't know, but I love this brush!!
Cargo is a line that does not get the attention that it deserves. They have some standout products and this is one. This blush is matte so it gives a very natural finish. I use it as a blush mainly not a bronzer I like to use the peachy stripe first and them warm it up a little with the bronzy part. I love this and would buy again and again.
Me and Corals have a funny relationship. Sometimes the work out and sometimes they don't. I used to have Hot Hot Hot eyeshadow and it was horrid on me. Also NARS Torrid didnt work out either. And MAC Marine Life is on the border or pretty and pretty tacky. For corals to be complimentary on me they typically have to have more peach than coral. A little complicated I know. I originally passed on this when it first came out because in the pan it was too loud and I didnt think it would work. But I kept hearing about it and was curious. So I tried it very lightly and it was quite nice. It will last me FOREVER because I only had to use the teeniest tiny bit. If over applied it would look tacky on me and also this color wont work on my lips or eyes. It's probably the brightest coral that I've ever been able to get away with.
Lip Gloss -MAC - Liberty of London_ Perennial High Style
cocodivatime 6/29/2010 11:37:00 AM
This ia a beautiful preachy coral color that I pair with MACs Ever Hip lipstick. This color works alone too on my skintone. For reference I am equivalent to MAC NC44 or NARS Cadiz. I'm glad I purchased it because I almost passed on it. I'm sure this would look great with othe lipsticks too, I just tend to reach for Ever Hip with it out of habit
This is a great color and great formula. Its a cremesheen so its very smooth but the color applied a bit sheer on me. Its not a throw on and go color for me. I wear it with MACs Perennial High Style. When I wear the lipstick alone its too sheer and does not work. I'm still giving it 5 stars because I love the completed look once I apply a gloss. It's fresh and bright but not over the top. Suitable for everyday and work
I was so very happily surprised about how beautiful this color was on my nails. The formula was a little goopy for me. I may have to add some thinner to it later but after two coats I was very pleased. Its a bright and beautiful yellow that sceams of joy and happiness. I received many compliments when I wore this on my hands. I was surprised to be complimented because its a very loud color and does not work for everyone Chine Glaze is vey affordable. If you like bright colors or want to try a pop of color for spring/summmer this is a must. I'm suprised to be the first one to review it
