Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Moondust Shadow in Diamond Dog

I am crazy about any kind of sparkle and seriously have to rein myself in so I don't run around looking like a glittery vampire! Ha. Having said that this is typical gorgeous quality Urban Decay. Beautiful sparkly, deepish brown. Yes, there is fallout. Solved with Too Faced Glitter Glue, a primer designed to prevent the problem. OMG. I need all the colors. Am seriously considering proposing marriage to the silver one LOL. You need this if you like a little (or a lot) of sparkle in the eye area.
I can't believe there aren't any reviews on this yet. I haven't been wild about her scents in the past but this one is exceptional. Notes are cherry, apple, neroli, mandarin and gardenia and it just smells gorgeous! Feminine and springy, and youthful also without being immature. Cherry seems to be the new trend for fragrance. This is a light, pretty scent which is totally wearable for the workplace or anytime, but IMO more suited for daytime than a night out. Love it!
I love this polish! First, the color: it is a medium charcoal grey with blue/orange/silver glitter. This is not a top coat, it was quite opaque after two coats. However, you could also layer it on top of other colors-black or white would be particularly stunning. It almost reminds me of the old houses with stucco on the sides, up close you can see the tiny sparkly stones among the grey. ( I used to try to pick them off with my finger as a child!!) But much prettier of course! Second, the texture: it is a bit of a rougher texture and maybe not as shiny as you're used to. I can live with that as the sparkle payout is worth it. Third: application - yes, it does dry more quickly. I think that's a bonus. I want my polish to dry quickly, I don't want to be worried about gibbling up my nails for 3 hours. I also have the purple and turquoise shades (both are stunning) and I think there is a light pink and a red that I want also. I'm hoping there is a royal blue also, if not there should be! LOL! I do recommend this if you are a fan of sparkle!
This is the new scent from Bath and Body Works. Consists of starfruit and frangipani (plumeria) and a bit of coconut. A wonderful combination, IMHO. A tropical treat! Also purchased the body cream and fragrance mist. Interesting that the body cream seems to have more of the starfruit scent, and the fragrance mist a bit more of the frangipani. If you enjoy their summery, beachy scents this is not to be missed!
Okay, so I already had Bad Fairy and loved it, and have tried four, yes, FOUR times to get Mean & Green at MAC. They are always sold out. Except this time! They had two left and I said "YES PLEASE!!" Finally I have my Mean & Green!!! I love duochromes, and this one is amazeb***s. Sigh, I'm so happy!!!
This is for the new Tarte lipstick in Timeless, a gorgeous bright coral. Love the creamy formula, although the flavor is somewhat blechhh, my only complaint is when I went to snap the lipstick case shut, the next time I opened it, my lippie was smushed flat and all over the inside of the cap. For a $31 CDN lippie I expected better quality packaging, at least be able to swivel it all the way down. Booo. Otherwise a really pretty summer color. If you are a brown-eyed brunette, this will work for you. Just be careful opening and closing it.
Masks -Freeman - Facial Hydration Mask - Gogi Berry

Never met a Freeman mask I didn't like! Also really like the Superfruit peel-off mask. I also have super sensitive skin (had to send back the whole Cindy Crawford Meaningful Beauty regimen) and didn't have high hopes for a cheap drugstore mask. But lo and behold, it did not burn or irritate me, and actually feels really cooling and refreshing! Great for those hot summer mornings! Doesn't smell bad and is actually moisturizing as it claims. (Huh) It does however take some patience to remove because it is a bit slimy in texture but I suppose you could use a washcloth. Good overall.
Eyeliner -Sephora - Jumbo Liner 12HR Wear Waterproof

I've had mine for a little while but my only complaint is the caps do not stay on these pencils! Twice I have gone into my makeup bag to find the eyeliner sans cap and a big mess in my bag. Suck! The liners themselves work well, and I love the sparkle in some of them. But the packaging really blows. Come on Sephora you charge $16 CDN each for these! For a $3 eyeliner I can understand but this is a ripoff. You're better off with a different brand.
Scrubs -Bath and Body Works - True Blue Spa Raspberry Margarita Sugar Scrub

Also purchased the Raspberry Yogurt Shower Smoothie and the Raspberry Mojito Cream Gel. All are fabulous, what a great scent. Sometimes I find berry scents smell plasticky, flowery or artificial somehow but this smells like the real thing. MMMM raspberries!!! All have a really nice texture too-the scrub is not too rough or greasy, my only complaint is the jar is really tiny for a body scrub, but I can deal. And the cream gel is nicely moisturizing. I really like these products, I would absolutely buy them again. Surprised they seemed to be getting ignored in the store, maybe it was the location, near the cashiers. Try them!
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Infallible in Magnetic Coral

I like this one. I'm seeing lots of peach/coral eyeshadows out there this spring and I decided to try it. Looks great on brown eyes! A nice, unexpected color. Pretty for spring/summer.
Moisturizers -Sephora - Sephora Age Defy Night Moisture Cream

Love it! I am a fan of the cleansing oil and day cream as well. Does not make me oily or break out. Pleasant light scent, and a comparative price with other lines they sell. Surprisingly good quality skin care, I am impressed! Yippee! Now if they could just come out with a primer....
I actually received this as a bonus along with some of his other products and the stinging/redness that resulted made me toss it. Along with all the other products. I will stick with my regular routine--sometimes trying new products doesn't work out I guess!
Lipstick -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Honey

Love the shade this is, a very natural but not invisible soft pink nude. I am NW20 and this works quite well, but without a primer underneath it morphs into a weird orange shade of pink. As long as I remember to use some chapstick under it it works very well. I love the crayon twist up top that so many of the companies are doing right now. No sharpening!
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Diamond Strength No Chip in Black Diamond
cleo777 3/25/2013 5:24:00 PM
Generally not a fan of plain black polish, if I wear it I have to do a gradient or glitter nail, so this black shimmery shade is perfect. Formula is good, I usually apply 2 coats (like with most polish). This works well for galaxy nails as a base color if you like that also. I rarely use up a whole bottle of any polish but I would buy this again if I did as I haven't seen a shade like this very often.
Concealers -Cover Girl - Covergirl & Olay Concealer Balm

Having run out of my coveted MAC Select Cover and no MAC store nearby, I opted to try this. I don't use concealer under my eyes because it never looks right, it's always "makeupy" looking. But I do use it to cover the odd blemish. Anyhoo this worked well, I just need a tiny dab and blend. It didn't make my breakout worse and the blemish stayed covered, unlike some concealers that slide off during the day. For reference I am NW20 and combination skin, I used the Fair shade. Oh, and it didn't oxidize either, which is good. Stayed the same color all day until I washed it off. I liked it.
