I used to wear the B&BW version years ago but hadn't smelled it in a while due to it reminding me of my ex plus the fact it had a bit of a plastic undertone to it.Well I saw this in a local discount store and thought I'd try it and wow:I LOVE this stuff! It has an initial burst of cherry that threw me off a bit but quickly turned to a warm creamy floral that lasts for hours.I liked it so much I went back and got the matching lotion and shower gel.I think this is the best version of JCP out there.:)

I absolutely love this:got it on the clearance table for next to nothing:paid about $6 total for the mist and lotion. It is very powdery but I find it to be comforting and can't wait for cooler weather as it is a bit strong for the 100 degree heat we are having. It smells very familiar bu I haven't figured out what it smells like yet....will update when i do:) ETA-this has the same powdery vanilla to it as both Curve Crush and Hanae Mori...that might be why it smells familiar.I don't get baby powder or baby wipes from this btw:)

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Natural Blend Lip Shimmer #101P Peach
rated 5 of 5
catwoman30 4/21/2012 9:10:00 PM

I love this stuff.I had tried another color that looked like metal on my lips so I kinda ignored them until I spotted this shade.I have very bright auburn hair and this color is perfect with it and my warm skin tone. It's not too sparkly on me-just shimmery as the name states. It has that mint tingle but doesn't go overboard like I've had happen with Burt's Bees.I also love the fact that even when it's windy my hair doesn't get caught on my lips like it would if I were wearing gloss. For the price, ingredients and quality these are great plus Wet'n'Wild doesn't test on animals:always a selling point for me:)

Love this polish-the brush was perfect and even with one coat(so far)there was no streaking at all.I can tell two coats will be enough for full coverage and it's such a pretty(if unusual) color. You can't beat the price either.Great polish!

Fragrances -Coty - Elite Models Perfumes-Paris Baby
rated 5 of 5
catwoman30 4/21/2012 2:12:00 PM

I saw these in my local *-Mart store. The shape of the bottle is a bit like Exclamation and they come in 4 different scents-these are the basic notes.Basenotes has the complete list and I will edit when their site is back up: Paris Baby-jasmine,freesia,vanilla New York Muse-lotus flower, patchouli, velvet orchid London Queen-bergamot,vanilla,tiare tahiti Rio Glam Girl-sandalwood,acai berry, violet flower I didn't expect much from Paris Baby honestly as I paid $8.97 for a 1.7oz Edt but I was in for a nice surprise. It goes on as a sweet vanilla floral that reminds me of yet another Viva La Juicy copy(then again all vanilla florals do these days) but it's still very nice. The lasting power is low but I expected it so I wasn't disappointed. What WAS shocking was that I expected the drydown to have a weird note or something because of how cheap this stuff was but I'm left with a pretty, soft jasmine/vanilla scent.I can't believe what a bargain this was!I have smelled a couple others from the cap:New York Muse was a spicy floral:will have to try on to compare it to anything.Rio Glam Girl was very nice-it was a berry based, musky floral that reminded me a bit of B&BW Secret Wonderland or Halle Berry Pure Orchid. The only one I haven't smelled is London Queen.Honestly for the price I'd like to eventually get all 4 scents(one for every mood so to speak).I'm so glad I took a chance with this-worth every penny:)

Fragrances -Secret - Kuku Coco butter body spray
rated 5 of 5
catwoman30 4/20/2012 8:13:00 PM

This is now called 'Cocoa Butter Kiss'.I received a mini bottle of the body spray as an extra in a swap:I'm not a huge coconut fan but this is nice.It smells like cocoa butter with a tiny bit of musk in it.It's already fading after 10 minutes but I imagine it would last longer layered over any foody scented lotions-would love to try with my Palmers Shea lotion. For the price who cares? You can spray tons of it-thumbs up!

Fragrances -Bodycology - Sunshine Daisy

This scent has been out for a little over a year now but sadly I think it is already being discontinued. It's a shame because I think this is one of the best scents in their line.I got it at Wally World but saw it was on the clearance shelf this past weekend so there you go.Well anyway....the scent itself is gorgeous.I am not sure of the specific notes as they are not on the bottle and this scent never appeared on the website. It is gardenia based but not cloying at all.It is backed by other floral notes that unfortunately I can't quite put my finger on.I don't *detect* any fruit notes(though it may contain them) which is nice for a change. It is just a soft, sweet floral that I adore-very girly and sweet without smelling like candy.I have never smelled Marc Jacobs Daisy so I'm not sure if this was meant to be a dupe or not.I don't like the matching lotion as much as the gardenia is a lot stronger in that but the cream is a perfect match.I really wish this wasn't going away:guess I'd better stock up!ETA:I guess it's a bad sign that after I posted this all of the shopping links for it were on Ebay:(

Gels/Soaps -Gold Bond - Ultimate Sensitive Skin Body Wash
rated 5 of 5
catwoman30 4/16/2012 9:12:00 PM

This is my new HG body wash.Recently my skin has been going through some weird changes and I just felt itchy all the time plus most scented products were starting to make me sneeze(and itch worse). This stuff has been a lifesaver. It is very thick so you only need a tiny amount to do your whole body. It's completely fragrance free and very moisturizing-the only place I need lotion afterwards are my impossibly dry heels and cuticles.Be warned though:this stuff will make your tub super slick as I found out the hard way after scrubbing the underside of one foot and setting it down:I slipped and luckily landed with my tail on the edge of the tub.I know to be more careful now!I got this on sale with a $1 off coupon attached to the tube so I only paid $2.99-I think it normally retails for around 6 bucks for a 12.5 oz. tube.I wish it were in an upright bottle because it can get a little messy but for the results I don't mind.Excellent product as is the matching cream. Ingredients: Water, Amino Methyl Propanol, Petrolatum, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Glycerin, Lauric Acid, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Glyceryl Stearate, Cocamide MEA, Cetyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Oil (Oat), Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract (Oat), Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) Leaf Juice, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil (Corn), Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract (Ginger), Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Extract (Lavender), Anthemis Nobilis (Roman Chamomile) Flower Extract, Jojoba Ester, Bisabolol (L-Alpha), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinyl Acetate (Vitamin A), Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), PEG 14M, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) (Shea Butter), Butylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Polyquaternium 67, PEG 30 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Sodium Propoxyhydroxypropyl Thiosulfate Silica, Capric/Caprylic Triglyceride, Octyldodecanol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Phytonadione, Silica, PEG 8 Dimethicone

Conditioner -Suave - Keratin Infusion Leave-In Conditioner
rated 5 of 5
catwoman30 4/11/2012 4:29:00 AM

I really like this a lot.I use a fair amount each time as my hair is down to my waist.I have very thin, fragile hair with a medium amount of natural waviness to it and this makes it so soft.I don't mind the scent:it doesn't smell masculine to me at all.I guess the only way to describe it is that if it were a perfume it would be in the Oriental/Floral group( if that makes sense).I know I sound like a commercial but I honestly can't imagine paying a lot for hair products when stuff like this can be bought for around $3 or so in most stores.I haven't tried the matching s&c but am curious about them now.Great stuff:)

Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - Prell Conditioner, Clean Rinse for All Hair Types
rated 5 of 5
catwoman30 3/28/2012 8:28:00 PM

I just picked this up the other day as it was dirt cheap and had decent ingredients but mostly for the smell.I kept thinking it smelled familiar then I figured it out:it smells a lot like Sand & Sable perfume...a whole lot.It does give good slip to my hair and makes it easy to detangle which is very important to me as my hair gets knotted up easily and is halfway down my back.I will use this each time I do a clarifying wash for sure.It was on clearance so I am going to go back and stock up before it disappears.

Fragrances -mark - White Vetiver
rated 4 of 5
catwoman30 3/19/2012 9:21:00 PM

Initially upon getting this scent in a swap I sprayed it once and instantly relisted it as it was SO strong-mind you it was the height of summer and the heat just amplified it.Well I decided to give it another try-this time I just barely depressed the sprayer until a tiny drop came out and wow-what a difference time(and colder weather) makes. It is a dark, smokey tuberose that is to die for:I strangely get no vetiver which is fine as true vetiver smells leathery to me.This has just a hint of coconut that I didn't notice the first time-very nice to ground the florals with.It would figure that now that I love it it is being discontinued....why does Avon(mark) discontinue stuff so easily?

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Faith Hill

I get more jasmine than anything out of this and must admit she did a good job of capturing the essence of the South.I don't get much magnolia but the real flower doesn't have a very strong smell:there is just enough of it to add a nice buttery undercurrent to it....just a hint of musk.I don't smell the myriad of notes listed but that's ok-simple is better in my opinion.Soft and feminine:)

One of my favorites as I am sick of fruity florals. This is an aquatic, slightly musky floral but definitely more on the aquatic side. It's not like Cool Water which smells like an ocean scented candle on me:just very fresh, simple and clean.9 times out of 10 this is the scent I reach for when I am undecided on what to wear.It actually lasts a good while on me but has low sillage-then again I am OK with that as most perfumes these days give me headaches and/or make me sneeze.I do find if I spray it on before bed I can still smell it on my pajamas the next morning.I gave it 4 lippies due to the low sillage btw-not because I don't like it:)
