i think this is an awesome product! it moisturizes while giving a hint of color. people who expect this to have the pigmentation similar to the lip shimmers would be disappointed, but the lip balm aspect of this product is amazing! if people want more color, then definitely go for the lip shimmers. but if people are fine with a hint of color, this will deliver. first of, the formula is so smooth. if burt's bees had a colorless balm in this formula, i would definitely be buying. second, it moisturizes my lips with no waxy texture. third, i love the scent which i couldn't describe. i am a huge fan of BB lip products in general- i love the lip balms and lip shimmers- and this made me love BB lip products even more. the only thing that held me back for a while in purchasing is the price. it is kinda expensive. hopefully, they would come out with special offers.
Lip Treatments -Alba Botanica - Terra Tints - Blaze SPF18

These are a great alternative to other tinted balms that has a strong minty tingle (love those!). The peppermint in this is more subtle. But I still like this. The shade is a red with brown in it which makes it wearable and pretty.
This is the best natural lip balm with sunscreen in it. I was not interested at this at first because natural lip balms with sunscreen have a bad rep for leaving a white cast on your lips. But this doesn't. It moisturizes my lips and protects it from the sun. Love this.
Fig is an MLBB shade for me. Love these lip shimmers from Burt's Bees. This is similar to the original lip balm, but with color. These are very moisturizing and can stand alone without lip balm underneath (but I still use one underneath because of habit). I will continue to repurchase these and I am excited to try the new shades!
I love this! Love the tingle of the peppermint oil and the sheer color. Watermelon is a cool pink with pink shimmers. This is very easy to wear. This is more sheer compared to fig, but I like that it adds some color instead of being clear. I also like the slim tube packaging. I will continue to repurchase the lip shimmers. They're awesome.
Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Nourishing Lip Balm with Mango Butter

If you were to ask me what's my most favorite Burt's Bees lip balm, I would answer the original because I love the peppermint tingle (i find it soothing) and it's the reason I got addicted to Burt's Bees lip balms and peppermint/minty lip balms. But if you ask me what is the most moisturizing Burt's Bees lip balm I tried, it would be this one! I love this! It is so hydrating and I can use it on chapped lips knowing they would improve in a matter of minutes. The texture feels different from the original. It feels less waxy and more buttery. I love this for night time or when I won't be using lipstick and just want something to moisturize my lips. I still prefer the original or honey if I will be using lipstick on top (they are the opposite of slick in texture so they're perfect bases prior to lipstick application). Overall, I love this! I love Burt's Bees lip balms! I hope they continue to make more.
Lip Treatments -Desert Essence - Lip Rescue w/ Shea Butter

This is a great balm. I haven't tried it on extremely chapped lips, but it works at keeping my lips moisturized. I think it prevents it from getting dry. What interested me about this balm is the peppermint (LOVE the original Burt's Bees). But quite frankly, the peppermint is really subtle. Like if I didn't read the ingredients, I might not know there's peppermint in this. Despite not having a tingle, I still like this a lot and will keep using it. The scent is really unique- like creamy with a hint of citrus. I didn't expect it to work because the texture is lighter than I expected. I am really happy I bought this. Overall, this is a lip balm that works and is also petroleum-free.
This is very affordable and of good quality (but it isn't pressed firmly), so if the shade works, then this could be an HG product for some. But not for me as this has too much obvious red undertones to it. I wish they would come out with another shade with no red undertones then I would be crazy about it. Too bad.
This review is for the brow perfection brow shaping studio with the two brow powders in the palette. I have this in the medium to dark shade and I have to say I love the formula! It comes with a neutral brown (the lighter of the two shades) and a darker reddish brown. I won't be using the daker shade as I have natural Asian hair and reddish shades look unnatural. The neutral brown, however, works. It isn't the perfect shade for Asians (it needs to have more ash to it), but it works fine. I guess they were thinking more people could use it (from darker blondes to brunettes). Seeing the neutral brown shade in the pan, you wouldn't imagine how pigmented it is on the skin, but not crazy pigmented that you need to be very careful with it (like the wet n wild ash brown which is awesome, but you have to be careful because it is SUPER pigmented). I would definitely be repurchasing if I ever run out, but not in a long time because of the good pigmentation. I also like the mirror beside the two powders. I have not used the tweezers and the stencil, but overall a very nice product from prestige.
Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Lip Care Stick - Cocoa Butter

This smells like chocolate! It moisturizes my lips okay, but the vitamin e lip care (also from TBS) does it better. I only use this when my lips are in good condition and I just want to keep it moisturized throughout the day and also at night. Chapped lips calls for TBS vitamin e lip care stick. I would continue to buy this still because of the smell and especially how it feels on my lips. It feels moist which I like especially at night. The one thing I like better about this is that it doesn't have SPF. I like my natural/organic and expensive lip balms to be spf-free. I have less expensive balms when I need sun protection. Also, I can't use this under my lipstick because it has a moist bordering on slick texture. It might make the lipstick slide off. Under gloss, this is okay.
This lip balm is delicious. If you have the strawberry flavor, this is sweeter and yummier! Of course, it still has a hint of the original Carmex scent and taste, but this could get more people to use Carmex. I love the cool and tingly feeling that all the Carmex lip balms have (like menthol-y not peppermint-y like the original Burt's Bees). I feel like the cooling sensation in this is even more intense than the Burt's Bees. I LOVE the click stick that Carmex uses. It makes it more sturdy and I love the clicky sound when I twist the lip balm. A definite repurchase for me. Love!
I like the original carmex so when they came out with the strawberry and cherry flavors, I immediately got them when I had the chance! The strawberry flavor smells and (maybe) tastes less sweet than the cherry flavor. Maybe this is geared towards people who don't like the sweetness of the cherry one. As I am a fan of the original carmex (some people complain about the smell and taste), I had no problems with this one. The cooling sensation is also amazing especially during the summer (all carmex balms have the cooling sensation). I actually like this a lot, but the cherry one is my favorite of the 2. I use this during the day and I carry this in my purse. I will definitely repurchase when I run out of both this and the cherry flavor. Also, LOVE the click stick. I love hearing the clicky sound when I twist it. I feel like the click stick is a more sturdy "housing" for a lip balm.
Lip Treatments -Blistex - Raspberry Lemonade Blast with SPF 15

Delicious and spot on! This lip balm smells and tastes like raspberry lemonade! Texture-wise, this is similar to the original, berry and mint lip balms that blistex has. I really like those (especially the mint) so I really like this as well. I use this during the day as it has SPF 15 in it and it's a nice break from whatever is going on in my life (love the smell mmm...). This is affordable too so no complains on the price. I also like the packaging a lot especially the deep red shade in the cap. :)
Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Vitamin E Lip Care SPF 15

i actually like this lip balm a lot. It took me 2 days before I saw the improvement on my chapped lips. I've had this for a while, but it got lost in my lip balm rotation until I decided to use it again because my Burt's Bees lip balms (I still love them) aren't enough for my extremely chapping lips. First off, this lip balm has a smooth consistency that is thicker than others. I feel like at first you'll get turned off by it if you're used to lip balms like softlips which has a less creamier consistency. But give this lip balm another chance because on my 2nd day of using this, my lips have improved! The smell of this lip balm is like a soft vanilla so it doesn't bother me. Now that my lips are healed, I still use this day and night in rotation with my Burt's Bees peppermint, honey and pomegranate (my other favorites). I know this product is more expensive than others, but it is definitely worth it. Oh, I've also tried the TBS cocoa butter lip balm and this vitamin e lip balm is definitely better especially in terms of moisturizing. Also, this balm can be used as a base for lipstick because it isn't "slick". It has a semi-matte finish and texture that won't cause the lipstick to slide off.
This is my favorite Maybelline lipstick. I prefer this over the Color Sensationals. I love how it moisturizes my lips and smells like melons. It ANNOYS me that Maybelline decided to focus on their CS line and decided to discontinue some shades from this line. Yes, the CS lipsticks are good and are more pigmented than this, but these feel better and are of excellent quality. And what's worse, they discontinued the shades that I love! Sugar plum ice and nude blush are my favorites and I'm sure nude blush sells good as many people like it too. I am just so sad about this. Thank goodness they didn't discontinue royal red because it is my favorite red, but I wish they kept midnight red as well. Also born with it and peach colada they dc! I know CS has a born with it, but I just prefer the formula of the moisture extremes! So sad:( I really thought that when Rimmel released their moisture renew line, Maybelline would see how good their ME lippies are and would produce new stocks... I really hope Maybelline would change their mind.
