HG alert! It's not a red as such but it's certainly the next best thing. Fantastically pigmented and it is so flattering on my fair complexion so all you fair skinned ladies must try it. It also still looks pretty good when I've faked tanned. The texture is lovely and smooth. A real pleasure to apply and wear. I can wear it anywhere and at any time.
Fantastic product and colour! I was wary about gettng this as I thought it would look like I'd been crying as well as suffering from a lack of sleep but I was very wrong. It's very pigmented which is a very good thing. I must admit that it can be a pain to remove but the fantastic colour combinations that I've made with this make it all so worthwhile. It looks great with a wash of Helium Pigment over the topp and a bit of Sea Me shadestick to line and so so sexy with Beauty Marked. I have had compliments from many a male (who, in my experience, don't usually like women wearing a lot of makeup) on these combinations.
I adore this. Usually when I go shopping for cosmetics I check the reviews here and ask on the boards but I bought this without doing any previous research purely because I thought it looked pretty in the pan. When I tried this for the first time I thought WOW. So I am really surprised to read that many people do not like the texture and find that the colour payoff is bad. I do not seem to have these problems and I haven't been using a base with it. It's a silvery violet colour with the emphasis on the silver I think. I find that you can apply it quite sheer whic looks really pretty or build up the colour if desired. It looks amazing with my green eyes and think it is definitely one of my best purchases.
I love everything about this scent. I like the opening notes. For me the most predominant notes are anise and violet. The drydown is sweet, but not too sweet. I get what SensualSusanna says below and I love it. It wafts beautifully - a real fruity floral. I will be buying a bottle of this.
I really like this colour. It's a lovely pale pink, great for achieving flesh-toned lips without looking like a corpse. It think this colour is a great addition to anyone's lipgloss collection and I'm glad I found it. I find that so many lipglosses sort of look the same on me, this is a distinctive colour for me and one of my favourite Lipglasses (cultured is currently my only other favourite lipglass).
Lip Gloss -MAC - Lustreglass - Palatial [DISCONTINUED]

I bought this colour based on the great reviews here. I am glad that I did as it is one of my favourites now. I wasn't sure whether to give this a 4 or 5. 5 would imply that it's perfect and I'm not sure about that. I think that the green sparkles are fantastic, no one would ever know! This is a great pink colour that really seems to suit my pale, cool-toned complexion. I said that I would repurchase, but I'm not sure if I will. I do think this is a great colour, and that everyone should try it.
I was pretty unsure about buying this. I wasn't convinced from the colour description that this would suit me. It took me ages to finally get it. When I tried it I was pleasantly surprised, it didn't look awful at all. Having said that it doesn't seem anything particularly special. It's definitely better than some Lipglasses I have tried (Dreamy for example), but I probably won't repurchase this.
Not too impressed with this so far. I was advised to go for this over Oyster Girl and now I wish I had gone with OG. This looks like nothing at all special on my lips. It is so blah and unimpressive even if I put it over lipstick. I will be sure to update if I have a breakthrough with this, but I don't think that will be any time soon though I hope I am wrong (I've been making too many expensive makeup mistakes recently!).
I was so excited to try this. I was looking for a striking and highly pigmented blush so was advised to try this. So many people seem to love this and I was told that it would look great on my pale and cool toned skin. This is described as a pure candy pink and it really is. It didn't bother me that it looked scary pink in the pan, but this was just too bright and unflattering on me. Whenever I wear it I end up looking like a clown - not a good look! Maybe it's just my application technique but I would say that it is too much for me, I am very disappointed as I was hoping this would be *the* blush for me. My advise to others is to try this before you buy it. The search goes on.
I've just purchased a 100ml bottle of this. I run out of it some time ago but never replaced it. I have recently rediscovered how much I like this scent. I remember when this came out. In magazines it wasn't placed under a category such as floral or oriental etc, instead it was classed as one of those unusual scents. It said if you like the smell of leather or petrol, you should definitely get this. I can sort of see where they get this from. I'm pretty useless at getting the notes in a perfume, but it does have an unusual (but not too ususual) overall scent and is definitely worth giving a try.
I love this brush. It's the SE version that I have got. I've never used a brush to apply concealer before though I always thought I should give it a try...and I am so glad I did. I never realised how inefficient I was at applying concealer before I got my hands on this brush. You can work the concealer around your eyes etc and the result is perfection. Give this brush a try, I was a sceptic about concealer brushes now it's all I will use to apply concealer!
This review is for the SE version. I have never used a foundation brush before, but always wanted to try one to see what difference, if any, it made to my foundation application. At first I couldn't quite get to grips with it, but now that I have used it quite a few times I am quite impressed. I think using the brush does make a difference to the finish and I will definitely be using it on a regular basis. I like this brush so I probably won't go on a search for another brush. This does a good job and you can really work the foundation around your eyes and nose etc. I assume that the full-sized version is just as good though this size is really good.
Makeup Brushes -MAC - #168 Large Angled Contour Brush

I have the SE version of this brush and I love it. It's just right as it enable you to have perfect control over where you put your blush/highlighter. The hairs are soft, yet not too soft. I assume that the full-sized brush is just as brilliant and I would certainly purchase this again. I don't think I'll even bother looking for another contour brush.
DO NOT BUY THIS. I would give it a 0 if I could. £19 this cost me. The tip wasn't as firm as I expected, I could not draw a decent line with it, I could not even draw a particularly thin line with it and it irritated my eyes. Please save your money for something better, heck anything is better than this crap.
I am surprised because this is one STREAKY polish. I tried putting it on really thin for natural looking nails and it still went on streaky, it doesn't matter how carefully I apply it. I put it aside and forgot about it - until now. I have recently rediscovered this and I tried really layering it and it looks pretty, natural and polished. I am pleased I persevered with this. It takes 3+ layers for the colour to come out good. When I use this I have to make sure I have plenty of time. I find that I can put up with the streakyness for the beautiful results this sometimes gives. Worth a try.
