Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Eye Bruise Easily Craze Duo

Wonderful duo I just picked it up at a sale 50% off so it was $0.99. The black is very similar to MAC Carbon. The plummy pinky shimmer color was what caught my eye. I swatched them both are they are pretty pigmented. However the plummy color I had to use an eyeshadow base to get it to show up true to pan color, very gorgeous. I would definitely repurchase again, I haven't see a color that is similar. Packaging is great comes with a clear plastic lid so I can see the eyeshadow and it has some designs on it. Too bad it's LE
Wonderful product for my oily hair. Keeps my hair matte, when I use this I don't get the greasy look and I can skip washing my hair for 2 days. A miracle for me since I use to wash my hair everyday because of my greasy scalp. Does a great job mattifying and volumizing my hair. The smell reminds me of the beach. It's a little pricey for $23 but it lasts me 1 1/2 year so it's worth every bit. I don't use that much only about 3 squirts and I'm set and my hair looks great without me worrying. I would definitely repurchase. Packaging could have been in a plastic clear bottle so I can see how much is left and the matte bottle is prone to attract dust or powder.
Powder -Shu Uemura - Powder Foundation Natural Glow

Pretty good powder foundation especially for asian skintones. I'm normally NC20-25 and I wear shade 764 in the summer. A nice tip for more coverage is to spray a makeup setting spray on the surface and then apply on with a brush. Gives it a liquid foundation effect, medium coverage and dries to a matte finish. Wore 10 hours without too much shine on an 80 degree day, I only blotted once. Since it's a powder there was no caking or melting like liquid or cream foundation. I don't find this too expensive to what I typically wear $40+ foundations so this is pretty good for the price. I don't mind buying it without the compact since I wasn't planning on taking it everywhere with me. Packaging is very similar to all other asian brands of makeup. Japanese and Korean almost always require you to buy the foundation and compact separately. Nothing out of the ordinary.
No oil control at all, it wears pretty well and looks natural. However my face greased up 2 hours after application. Not what I'm looking for in a powder foundation. Packaging is cute
Mascara -Unlisted Brand - Apple By Apple - Super Lash

Love it my HG mascara!! Makes my puny asian lashes long and voluminous!! Holds a curl very well, doesn't flake or smudge and stays put all day. I have the regular, noir and the purple one. I love them all!! The color is super black and the formula is dry I think it what makes it buildable and not clumpy. The price is super cheap from ebay I would definitely repurchase.
Eye Shadow -L.A. Colors - 6 color Metallic Eyeshadow in Hypnotic

I found a dead on dupe of MAC Birds and Berries it's the lower middle color it's a metallic blueish teal. The colors are very soft and pigmented, 5 of the 6 colors are metallic sheen and the last one the white is a matte. This is a blue palette great for blue/teal eye looks. Colors are easily blendable and makes a great nighttime look. I found this at my $1 store, at only a buck for a dead on MAC eyeshadow it's a steal. Only con is the packaging looks cheap, what can you expect for a $1
One of my favorites to apply and look at in my stash. It's a purple jelly with golden flakes and microglitter. Very festive and Christmasy. Since it's a jelly it'll take two coats for solid color or you can apply over a lighter purple for a cool effect. I've never seen a color like this before. Looks stunning in the winter. I would definitely repurchase.
Great selections the finishes ranges from matte, jelly, metallic and creme. My favorite is definitely the jelly finishes I bought the colors Blue 6(a turquoise jelly), Green 5(a deep peacock green jelly), Grey 4 (light grey jelly) and Blue 4(a deeper blue version of MAC Blue India). I love them all the application is easy, no streaks and like with all jellys you have to apply several layers to get the color solid. Wears for 2 weeks and I get lots of complements esp for Blue 6. They have other colors like a blue, yellow, red flakies I haven't tried yet. At $4 a pop you can't go wrong. The only con is the brush may be a bit short and it's skinny, but some patience will make a beautiful manicure.
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Complete Salon Manicure in Hidden Treasure

I love this polish you can tone it down by applying over lighter colors or make it showy by using darker colors as a base. The flakes changes colors depending on what color you use. My favorite is over a purple, red, green or black. In the day time over a purple it changes to a orange, golden, green tone and at night it's more of an orange golden. Very fun to have. The price is almost the same amount as OPI polish but then OPI doesn't make anything like this. Totally worth it and the extra wide brush makes painting very easy in 2 strokes. I would repurchase this fun color again. Summer is coming up time shine your nails in the sunlight.
I love this curler this is my 2nd curler. I first started out with a Revlon one that took a few lashes out of my eyes everytime I used it. After I bought this one, I threw my old one away. Nothing curls my downpointing Asian lashes up in a natural curve. My lashes are curving up and not in a 90 degree angle. I've used it for over a year now and it's still good I don't need to replace the pad yet. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it for the curl, the long lasting pad and not taking my eyelashes with it when I use it. I would definitely repurchase.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Carbon Black Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner
atsugari 5/2/2010 5:07:00 AM
I love this liner and I have very oily lids, I've tried pencil, gel and using shadow as liner after a few hour they smudge or fade. This is the only thing that doesn't it stays put all day. I love the tip cause I'm such a klutz with liquid liners I smear it all over cause of my unsteady hand. The tip on this one is almost foolproof for people starting with liquid liner. Previously I tried the wet n wild liner cause of the good reviews. Now I'm addicted to L'Oreal. My only grip would be I wish the tip was finer but that isn't a big issue since I have a monolid and you can't see my liner unless I go a bit thicker. I would definitely repurchase.
Crème -Giorgio Armani - SPF20 Shaping Designer Foundation
atsugari 4/13/2010 3:00:00 PM
Great foundation, makes your skin look like skin, covers all my minor flaws, long lasting, gives you a glow. My skintype is NC25, oily/acne prone. This doesn't break me out it looks very nice in natural light and indoors. Probably not for photos because of the spf will make you look lighter. It's very expensive I can find cheaper alternatives to this but I love the texture and finish look. If I had more money I would buy this more often. Packaging is ok in a jar not very sanitary so you gotta use a spatula, and it's not travel friendly cause of the glass jar.
Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Enriched w/ Minerals
atsugari 4/13/2010 2:53:00 PM
Foundation was a pretty good match to my NC25 skin and didn't break me out coverage was good. It felt sticky even after I applied it for several hours I felt like it never dried. I feel the foundation on my face. I didn't want to touch my face cause I didn't feel it was transfer resistant. I probably won't buy it again cause originally i was planning to wear it in summer if it feels sticky in the winter already summer would be worse. Probably ok for people who don't touch their face after applying foundation. Packaging is great no bottle for me to break no pump for me to complain about. Very simple to use.
For reference I'm NC25 combo/oily/acne prone skin I wear this in Nude. This foundation makes my skin look amazing. Much better than all the other foundations I tried. Nice and glowy, if ur not a fan of glowy then don't buy this. I tried this for 2 weeks and it's working out well I don't notice any differences in artificial/natural light. I wear this with my mattifying primer underneath. No breakouts at all. My favorite way is to mix a bit of the revlon colorstay to make this more wearable for work/day. I love this for night my skin looks so good. Packaging is awesome, Revlon finally listened and made a foundation with a pump. I would definitely repurchase. Only con is it's a bit expensive for a drugstore foundation 1/2 the price of a MAC foundation
Love the peachy pink color. Makes my NC25 skin look alive yet suitable for work. My everyday casual blush. It's pigmented so I don't have to dig my brush into it will last a long time. Packaging is wonderfully basic without all the bells and whistles some major brands have. (i.e. benefit) Small and compact easy to travel with.
