"The words greatest concealer" ...hahah yeah right. I have the WORST undereyes. Although they are not puffy, they have lots of milia bumps mixed with shades of pink, purple, and extra dark blue on the inside crease. Dont forget about the nice purple spots next to my tear duct, as well. Concealer is the one thing i have struggled with trying to find. Color isn't an issue for me - im VERY light, and there are some nice brands with shades for fair ladies. But when it comes to the finish, im done for. Amazing Concealer is in a tiny tube, which is a stretch since "Tube" is pictured as something rather large. You would expect a sample size to look like this. When i bought it, I first thought someone put a sample in a new box. I got scared when i first put it on, as it looked very orange. After blending, it looked like my skin, but uhm....flakier. This stuff has the weirdest texture, almost like a thin spackle that fights with you to blend. And, when you finally get it to the spot you want, you set it with powder and it just dispears, leaving you with flaky skin. No thanks, this is going back.

So I called the company personally and got some samples, but it cakes very easily on me..ive tried using it with a watered brush, my finger, powder, no powder...i cant layer it because it cakes. can someone please leave me a message and let me know what i can do? the shades are great though

Powder -Everyday Minerals - Foundation Matte Formula

At first I LOVED the results of my cool fair base in matte. It gave just the right amout of shimmer, great coverage, no itchy skin, and it looks natural! I was shellshocked, could I have found the perfect foundation? I looked so airbrushed and I was just so excited..the blushes are amazing too! I used this product off and on for about 4 days. On the fourth day I noticed a huge, painful, red bump just below my chin. I was on my period, but this was different. This was strange because I NEVER break out on my chin and I never get painful acne, its usally something i can pop within a day or two. Not this, I couldn't TOUCH it. The next day, I found MORE bumps all over my cheeks. I recently got bangs andI guess I didn't look at my forehead closely and OH BOY that was a mess too. Needless to say, I'm never purchasing this again. BUT- this product is great if you dont break out. Also, their brushes as soooo soft and I love their blushes. Too bad i dont have an even base to start with before i put on my blush... thats what I loved about foundation. I could wear any color blush and it wouldnt interfere with my already-red skin. UGH. I wasn't in COMPLETE need of foundation, but I really wanted that perfect airbrushed look...I guess this is a classic case of "dont fix it if it's not broken"

Lip Liners -NYX - Slim Lip Pencil - Natural 810

Great color, it just didn't work for me. In Ulta, it looked orangey pink. At home, it looked more brownish orange. With my fair skin and barely pigmented lips, I don't think this would look too good on me. So bottom line, if you are palest of the pales, with barely there pigmented lips, I'd stay away...

Eye Shadow -MAC - Shadestick-Silverbleu

Wowowoowowowow. Pair this under Stars N' Rockets and you got yourself an eye orgasm right there. It's so pretty... I've gotten a bazillion compliments when I wear this look together. HOWEVER. The Shadestick itself is a real bummer :( Too chunky, even with a blast from the handy blowdryer it still doesn't go on smoothly..and way too much sparkle.. reminds me of that cheapie crap you get in kits for your 5 year olds that want to play "make up". I don't know, you really need to be creative if you want this shadestick to look as good as the cost makes it out to be.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Digit Eyeshadow

Digit is a true pale color. I would steer away from this if you are warm toned. I see blue reflects in this pale lilac purple... Anyway, onto the shadow. I was afraid this would be too chalky, which was studid to assume because I have never had that problem - and didn't this time either! it applies very smoothly, no chunks, very even. Although it is too dark IMO to apply as highlighter to compliment darker purples, it is just perfect for a light wash of color on the days you want people to envy your ability to just "naturally wake up pretty". To deepen the effect of digit, use trax from the crease to a little above, and put any color black in the actual crease, so you get a nice fading effect. Don't get me wrong, I like digit a lot, but at the rate I use it, I don't think I'll need to buy it again...

PLEASE LISTEN TO ME. DO NOT USE THIS ON YOUR EYEBROWS. ONE WRONG MOVE AND YOU LOST YOUR EYESIGHT. GET THIS PROFESIONALLY DONE, PLEASE LADIES! What would you rather -- perfect tinted brows but you're now too blind to see them, or perfect brows done by a pro and you HAVE eyesight? Common sense here. I don't know how you ladies did it, but I wouldn't dare put bleach above my eye.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Telescopic

peopleeeeeeeeeeee if you complain about this great mascara you are doing it incorrectly! Use little to no pressure when applying it. I know this is hard to transition to after doing the opposite with your other mascaras but it makes a huge difference.Also, to get to the tips, look down/close your eye while applying. Practice makes perfect. Be careful putting this brush back in... mine bent... TWICE. but I like it better bent! Weird? Yeah. The first coat will look like a lash tint with a little length, second will make your jaw drop. It did for mine. HEY FALSIES. Will buy again. HG for life

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

the only reason this gets a 2 is because the blackest color is true black, not gray. this mascara weighed down my lashes to the point where curling my lashes was just a waste of time.. It had a funky cow menour smell, idk if the package was just old or...? it did nothing for me... it felt like a lash tint and that was TOTALLY not what I was going for. Telescopic is my HG. Try that out.

why aren't I lucky like you guys! to be honest I didn't notice ANYTHING... I am on meds that are known to cause my lashes to fall out, and I lost about 5 at a time. I see little stubbs of lashes growning in, but i have no clue if that's just SUPPOSED to happen, or its from this product bringing it back. I skipped about 3 days in a row, and my lashes fell out around that time hmmm.... I think I'm going to try this for another month. Will update, using this EVERY day starting.... NOW.

Brows -MAC - brow set - show off

Tried this at the mall, whoa baby. It was quite subtle, but it made my eyes look prettier considering my brows were BLACK. For once my eyes looked green and not hazel/borderline brown. I didn`t have a problem with extra product but that could have been because the SA gave me a fresh brush for hygene purposes. Was a little messy, but hey it was my first time. Good price when i compared the benifit speed brow.. you get more for less money. It has JUST enough hold for my brows and doesn`t leave them crusty. I will deffinitly get this for my birthday! edit: returned this, it too way too long to get the color even, i looked like a clown!

Bleh, why do I always come across the suckiest products?! I used this for about 1 year, I even bought 2 bottles ahead of time. Now I`m stuck with one, not used, and non returnable apparently. The texture seemed nice, but it left my face stiff and then WICKED dry. Now I have a BUNCH of small bumps along my chin/cheeks/nose AND clogged pores. Paula, you stink :[ Anyone want to swap? :] [I have no wishlist..I`ll pretty much take anything]

Ew. My dad, who knows nothing about cleansers, mistaken`d this for hand soap O.o And you know what he said? "this crap is drying" Haa. Yeah I hate this so much, all of the sides of my chin I have little red bumps. it did make my skin feel smooth, but I think it was the film of product it left. I was on my 3rd day and I noticed a slight sting on my cheeks. I`m going to stop before it gets worse. Oh my, and that smell takes your breath away [AND NOT IN THE GOOD LOVEY DOVEY WAY EITHER!]
