Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - BOMBSHELL

I got this among many other fragrance samples from Victoria's Secret. This is the only one that stood out to me, it goes beyond your typical light floral scent. I'm not sure if the name 'BOMBSHELL' is appropriate as it is sexy but not quite there. I do like it though and bought a 50ml bottle.

I LOOOOOOOVE this, it's amazing! My skin feels so nice and looks so much brighter after I use this, I feel like I don't even need to use makeup. I don't actually like eating blueberries but this just smells heavenly and feels so refreshing on my skin.

Not too sure on this one. First thing I noticed was the smell - quite a few people have noted that the smell is nauseating and I agree. I can see how people like it (it's very floral) and I admit I loved it at first but it gets sickening. Also I don't find it does much for my hair. I apply it while my hair is damp and then I blow-dry. It does make my hair feel a little softer but that's about it. Not worth the price.

Lipstick -Revlon - Superlustrous Lipstick - Demure (LE)

I bought this on sale and promptly went back to get another one, the colour is a lovely soft pink and is quite flattering on my skin tone. It's not too light and it's not too deep, just perfect! Love the feel of it as well, not drying at all.

Eye Shadow -Revlon - Matte eyeshadow

I got this for dirt cheap at a sale in the colour brown. It comes with a little foam bud but you might as well throw that out and buy an eyeshadow brush as it will do a much better job. Moving on to reviewing the actual eyeshadow .. I love it! For a drugstore eyeshadow it's AMAZING. It's quite pigmented and the colour is fantastic, I can see this lasting for a while. It's really cheap also, and I'm probably going to stock up on a few other colours when I have the chance. The eyeshadow part though is ridged which is a bit annoying because when you go over it with your eyeshadow brush it goes on slightly uneven.

The packaging caught my attention as it stood out amongst all the other Maybelline mascaras. My Priceline (I'm from Australia) had this mascara for half price so I decided to try it. I'm a fan of the Define-A-Lash mascara so basically I'm reviewing the vibrating part of this. I think what attracts people to try this mascara is the fact that it vibrates. By vibrating it claims to cover each and every lash with sufficient coating. When I tried it though, while it did do that I don't think that it's necessary to pay a few dollars extra for it. If you're not careful it can become a mess all over your eyes and in my opinion you can do just as good a job in covering all your lashes without the vibrating.

Lip Treatments -LUSH - Honey Trap Lip Balm

AMAZING! I have to admit I'm a lip balm addict and have used lip balms from almost every brand under the sun. I picked this up on a whim (as I have about 5 different unopened lip balms at home) for $9.95AU which is a little pricier than other lip balms I've purchased. The lid is a bit difficult to open as it's quite little. What I've learnt to do though is you place the pot in the palm of your hand, and then with your other hand push the pot into your palm and twist the lid open like that. It works like a charm! The product is pretty easy to scoop out with your fingers, and when you apply it to your lips there's almost a stinging sensation which sounds a bit unpleasant but what I've noticed is that it really plumps up your lips and makes them feel so soft. This lasts for a while and overall is an amazing lip balm.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara Waterproof

I'm going to start off by saying I have the shortest and straightest eyelashes ever (I'm Asian). I've tried many many mascaras, from Chanel to Covergirl and I have never found a mascara that managed to keep my stick straight lashes curled. Until this mascara! It was on sale at my local Priceline (I'm from Australia) and I decided to give it a go. This mascara HOLDS the curl for hours, and I think the name speaks for itself. Few soft swipes of eye make up remover on a cotton pad removes this mascara easily and there's no need to tug at my lashes. Unfortunately I don't think this does much for lengthening my lashes but I'm so happy that it at least holds curl and really gives my eyes some opening up. The packaging is a bit plain and doesn't really attract your attention amongst all the other Maybelline mascaras, but give it a go!

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Rock Star

I bought this as part of my LUSH splurge because my friend was raving on about it. Personally my favourite soap is 'Honey I Washed The Kids' but I grabbed a small block of this as well. When I first smelt it it was really sweet; almost sickly. Once you use it though under the shower, it smells a LOT nicer and I couldn't stop smelling it! Definitely one of my favourites! Don't let the super sweet smell in the store turn you off.

Treatments (Eye) -The Body Shop - Fragrance-Free Elderflower Eye Gel

The sticker on this product says 'cools, soothes and refreshes', which it does PERFECTLY. No where does it mention anything about dark circles or fine lines, so if you're looking for something that will reduce your dark circles this is not it. (Although some of my friends claim that it did ... it's relatively cheap, so it really wouldn't hurt trying it imo). This eye gel is cheap, and reduces early morning puffiness (late night crying anyone?) well. Just gently pat using your ring finger around the eyes and instantly there's a cooling sensation which really wakes you up and makes you look more awake. I would definitely repurchase - this product lasts a long time! One thing though, the packaging is a bit disappointing, it comes in a tub where you have to dip your finger in ... I'd much rather prefer a tube for hygiene reasons.

I"m so glad I didn't actually buy this and got hold of a sample first because I was so keen to purchase it. This felt so heavy on my skin and really .. unnatural? It was also hard to put on, I felt I had to rub it really hard into my skin. Not impressed.

Amazing stuff, smells so nice and very moisturising. I do recommend using the pump dispenser bottle though and not the one where you need to squeeze the product out because that was really annoying to use.

Probably one of the best gifts I have ever received from a friend. Every single brush in this set is amazing - I particularly love the blush brush and the slanted eyeliner brush. They are so soft, and the environmentally friendly factor is a bonus. It is so affordable, I bought a set for my friend's birthday and needless to say, she has never looked back. Cannot say enough good things about this. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I got this in a gift pack, and I am SO impressed. Why do I even need to spend so much money on a MAC brush when this does the job so much better and for so much cheaper? The brush is SO soft and the handle works well for control. Perfect.
