This looks like a really pretty color, but it's just not flattering on my NC30-35 skin. I think it may be my yellow undertones, but it makes me look kind of sick. I normally don't rate low when something is only unflattering on me, but there doesn't seem to be much color payoff. I just get a lot of shimmer, and it feels a litle bit gritty.
I tried this for a few days when I ran out of cleansers on a trip. It didn't do anything for my oily skin...I can see how this would be good for people with sensitive skin but for me, it didn't make me feel clean at all. When I use this in the morning, I don't feel like it removes the oil from my skin and it feels like washing my face with water. It may be good for sensitive skin, but not for me.
I've owned thisfoundation for years even though I was kind of ambivalent about it, mostly because I never had a shade that matched. I'm usually about nc30, and I have the shade warm golden, and its a little too beige for my skin. I have yellow/olive undertones (asian skin). I also have the shade golden caramel, which is much more golden/yellow toned but usually too dark for me so I mainly used it to mix with lighter foundations. I think its in the nc40 range. Now that I'm tan, golden caramel is the perfect match for my face...even a little bit lighter than my neck, but now that the color matches, I finally see how good this foundation is. It makes my face look flawless and it isn't cakey at all for me. I apply it with a damp elf flat top brush and it buffs it in perfectly. It also lasts all day for me - I don't get oily for about 9 hours, and I usually have to blot after 4 hours! Now I have to find a shade to match me during the year, because I've fallen in love with it!
I usually am not a fan of bright pink blushes, but I think this has changed my opinion of them! This is the perfect pink blush to brighten up my face. Even though it's shimmery, I don't find that it really transfers on my face. It's definitely a watermelon pink color, but it's extremely flattering on my skin (NC35). Another plus is that it lasts all day for me, and I have quite oily skin. I would definitely repurchase!
I absolutely LOVE this bronzer. I have it in the palette with Bella Bamba and Coralista, and I use it almost daily. It's the perfect bronzer to give me some definition in my cheeks without being orange or muddy at all. Even though it's a bronzer, it still works as a contour for me because of the cooler tone. I love the pigmentation of this, and it blends out effortlessly. This is definitely one of the best bronzers I've used for my skintone (NC35)
This is a great multitasking product. I brought this on vacation with me, and so far I've used it as a blush, bronzer, highlight, and eyeshadow, and this product has worked fabulously for all of those purposes. The pigmentation of these is great, and they last really well for me. As a blush, I mix my brush (Ecotools blush) through the entire pan, but focusing on the middle colors. It gives me a warm glow while giving me some color. As a highlight, I take a stippling brush through the top three colors to create a champagne highlight. As a bronzer, I take my bronzer blush (ELF Complexion) and swirl it through the bottom two colors. Even though it's shimmery, it stills gives me a really bronzey glow that's flattering on my NC35 skin. There's not that much to say about this product, except that it's definitely becoming a staple! The only flaw is the slightly bulky packaging, but I don't really mind it.
When I first bought this, I was not really a fan of it because I thought it was too bright. But this year, im all about the bright colors and I've been wearing this nonstop! It's the perfect pink on my and it's not quite "strawberry" but it is a very pretty pink on me. It's also not drying, but I wouldn't call it particularly moisturizing either. I really really love the color of this gloss, except it can sometimes be a little gritty. I definitely prefer their crime glosses better, but I really do like this color a lot!
This is one of my new favorite fragrances! It is the perfect scent for spring and early fall, when I want something that's in between heavy and light. I'm not the best person to describe scents, but there's a hint of vanilla on me mixed with florals. I'm a sucker for vanilla scents, and this definitely works with my body chemistry.
I absolutely LOVE this blush for my blushes. I haven't tried it for foundation, but I've used it for bronzers and powder and it works well, but it seems to apply my blush perfectly. I've used this with sheer and pigmented blush and I love the control it gives me. It only retails for about $3, so it's definitely worth it for me. I've washed it plenty of times and the bristles have held up well. HOWEVER, after a couple washes, the ferrule broke off from the handle. I've managed to keep it on temporarily until I can find a store around where I live now that stocks it. I haven't really noticed this problem with the other reviewers, so I rated this high anyway.
This is definitely an HG product for me. It provides the perfect base for all my eyeshadows, and even though I have oily lids, my eyeshadows will last about 8 hours before I detect any creasing. It's a shimmery champagne color, but it's not too shimmery or frost. I like using this under mattes so they aren't flat. It makes all my eyeshadows a little bit more vibrant as well. I've used this almost everyday for over a year and it's still going strong. I've noticed that I can't wear UDPP or any other eyeshadow primer under this otherwise it will look very dry and cakey, so I just use it alone now. I would definitely repurchase this!
This is a pretty good blush on my NC30 skintone, but it takes a special brush to apply this otherwise it will just show up as shimmer that accentuates my pores. I use the ELF flat top powder brush to apply this and it gives me some natural color without looking like I'm wearing blush. It doesn't last too too long on me, but for the price, I don't really mind. I haven't decided if I'm going to repurchase this yet, but I put yes for it anyway.
I have this shade as part of the Naked palette, and I can say that this is definitely my most used shade in the palette. On my NC30 skintone, it is the perfect brightening eyeshadow. It's not too frosty for me, and it's a shadow that I wear whenever I'm in a rush and need to look more awake!
Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Loose Powder

I don't really feel like this powder does much for me. I've tried using different amounts to see if adding more/less would make it better, and I've also tried using it with different combinations of products. Whatever I use, I don't feel like this makes a very big difference. I have pretty large pores and my skin is pretty oily. I only see any difference when I wear foundation with it. It makes my face look a little smoother, and it's not cakey, but that's the only difference I see. It also has no oil control properties for me, which I've read that it has for other people. I use this mainly to set my under eye concealer, but after i finish this, I'm moving on.
I actually really love this foundation even though I have pretty oily skin. In the winter it becomes a lot dryer, more like combination, and this has just the right amount of dewiness and moisture to keep my skin from being cakey. The glitter/shimmer is barely noticeable on me at all. It gives a great dewy and luminous look to my skin without making me look greasy. I also love the texture and coverage of this foundation. It's very creamy and easy to blend, and it makes my skin more even. When I want to wear this for a night out, I usually mix it with a little bit of Revlon Colorstay for more longevity. Even though I'm NC30-35 I bought it in the shade nude when I was paler one year, and now I use it to mix with my darker foundations too. When I use up another foundation, I'll definitely buy this in a shade that matches me better.
I reallly love this blush. It's kind of a mauve pink on my cheeks. My skintone is about NC30 and it leaves a really nice natural flush for me. It's also extremely pigmented so I find that I have to use an extremely light hand otherwise I get the clown cheek look. The only negative is that I feel like the packaging is a bit cheap. It's really lightweight and I feel like if I ever drop it, something's going to break. That being said, I love this as a go-to blush!
