I'm one of the few here who absolutely love the smell of this conditioner - I've been sniffing my hair all day. It felt rather thin to the touch, as others have mentioned, but it made my skin almost completely tangle-free (which is virtually unheard of for my thick mop of frizz), and so soft. Will definitely be purchasing this again.
I really liked the tart citrusy smell of this but I found it didn't last long enough. Not as moisturizing as Blackberry, and nor did the smell last long on my skin. However, it is still a nice bath-time experience, especially if you are into citrus smells. This is more of an early morning wake-up bath experience than a long, indulgent night-time bath.
My skin is extremely sensitive, so I am always wary when using masks, as they have broken me out in the past. But this is gorgeous! The smell is sublime blueberries, and it is cool and refreshing on the skin. It doesn't make my face feel tight, like most masks. I didn't find it difficult to remove, and my skin just glowed when I took it off. It is very detoxing - I found that it removed all the blackheads on my nose, something which I didn't expect. One thing I will note, though, is that those with dry skin may want to make sure they moisturize after using this because it is slightly drying, but it is suitable for combination/sensitive skin. Lovely mask! Will definitely rebuy this one.
I should start this review by mentioning that vanilla is usually disastrous on me. A blend can be loaded with every single one of my favourite notes (see Bearded Lady), but it turns rancid on my skin with just a drop of vanila. So I was a little sceptical of Dorian, despite its popularity. Well I shouldn't have worried, because I seem to have found the one vanilla scent that works on me! This is much more of a 'vanilla tea' scent than a straight vanilla one, but that suits me just fine. It smells like vanilla tea and lemon...very much a Victorian tea-party. With just a little bit of evil lurking underneath, somewhere. This is really lovely and fresh. It is a masculine scent, but I feel I can wear it, too, which is nice. Very impressed by this one!
In the bottle and directly upon application, the predominant notes were almond and cherry. Whilst cherry usually goes wrong on me, this was actually quite a nice cherry. However, upon dry down it becomes a very jasmine blend, with a hint of honeysuckle maybe? And ylang ylang? As I am one of those few people who counts jasmine as one of my top three notes, that suits me just fine. A sweet, juicy white floral blend - very feminine, a little mysterious, and perfectly evocative of the Moon.
At first, I didn't think I'd like this because orange rarely works on me. However, I found myself really loving this perfume. It's a sweet, heady citrus-y floral scent. It's like lollipops over floral perfume, if that makes sense. The orange blossom and honeysuckle are the dominating notes, with lemon verbena and neroli balancing the scent out underneath. Perfect for Lolita - it's sexiness and flirtatiousness and innocence all at once.
This scent is so distinctly Victorian. It smells like roses and lilac and old books and a stately Victorian parlour. But it's not boring at all - it's a very multi-layered scent, with wood notes to ground the florals. The rosewood comes out strong in the dry-down, which is lovely and adds a certain resonance to the rose top note. This is very pretty, and a lovely addition to my ever-growing collection of BPAL rose scents.
Fragrances -Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab - Dragon's Eye

This is a really classic, everday, pretty perfume. The dragon's blood gives it a bit of a kick, and it is really quite sexy. The florals mix gorgeously with the dragon's blood - sharp, but not too sharp. This is a pretty, floral, spicy perfume that would be perfect for everyday use.

This is a very heavy, very deep and very dark floral. Be warned, it is strong! You only need a dab. But it is so beautiful that it's worth a try. The lilac is the strongest note on me, but underneath you can smell the wisteria and rose floating along, and it's just gorgeous. This is a very feminine, almost Victorian, floral scent.
I love the pepperminty smell! This is a really soothing, cooling foot lotion that is especially nice to put on after a long summer day, as it is very refreshing. It's not a super-intensive foot lotion, but for hot Australian summers, this is lovely and just what I need. Might try Pied De Pepper for winter, though.
At first I was sceptical on neck cream - do I really need another cream for another area of my body - but after using this a few times, I am hooked. The smell is lovely, and you can actually feel it firming your neck up. I am going to use this religiously to avoid lines on my neck!
I think I have found my ultimate violet scent. The violet in Marie mixes beautifully with the rose to create a soft, pretty floral scent - the violet loses the sharpness I have noticed in other BPAL violet scents, and becomes kinda lush and decadent. This is a sophisticated, sexy, very strongly feminine scent.
Fragrances -Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab - The Peacock Queen

I have no idea how Beth managed to create the scent equivalent of 'haughty', but she's done it. Amazing. This is a rich, deep, voluptuous rose scent. Imagine the biggest, showiest, velvety red rose. That's what The Peacock Queen smells like. It's beautiful, and it knows it is beautiful. Absolutely wonderful perfume.
Stardust smells like the 70s...a bit of champagne, some tobacco (only a touch...enough to convey the atmosphere of a club but not enough to make you smell like an ash-tray), flowers, white musk and glitter. It smells like the old perfumes my mother used to wear when I was a kid. Definitely a party scent. It's fun and bubbly and sparkly.
Fragrances -Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab - Old Glasgow

Glasgow is a berries-and-floral scent on me, with a hint of green grass underneath. I have never visited Scotland or smelt the moors, but this is exactly what I imagine they smell like. There is even a hint of wind about this scent, somehow. I love this scent - it's very evocative, but gentle.
