Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - Amika - Color pHerfection Shampoo

It smells really nice but it hardly gives any sudsy lather so I feel like I have to use more than normal or add more water. I also didn't really notice much difference in the texture of my hair. I hardly had to pay anything because I used my points on my birchbox account, but I would think over $20 is a little pricey for something that's meh. Probably won't repurchase.
I've tried many different asian brand BB creams and this is my first american brand and it was not great. It does stay true to what it says on the packaging: sheer color, light weight, etc. but all it feels like is just a tinted moisturizer; no coverage AT ALL. If you need a moisturizer that's super light weight and has some spf, this is for you, but if you want a real BB cream, this isn't it at all.
BB Cream -Skin79 - Intense Classic Blemish Balm (SPF 20 PA++)
PrincessofIce 6/9/2012 10:52:00 PM
Pros: Really good coverage especially for dark circles Cheap ($13-15 on ebay) Easy to use Good oil control (I have oily skin) Cons: Can be cakey if not blended right Might be way too light for some people I have really oily skin and I've tried a few BB creams already and this is one that's working really well for me in oily control. This is great for concealing dark circles because it's on the thick side. The problem with it being thick is that it can be a little hard to blend and the color is pretty light so it might not match your skin tone. Luckily for me I'm on the fair side and I'm also Asian so it matches me just fine.
Pros: Sweet and floral Long lasting Cons: Not too original I got it as a sample from my birchbox (which ALL of you should sign up for, it's simply amazing http://www.birchbox.com?raf=nlhpc ). I LOVE this scent! The only (very) small gripe is that the scent truely isn't that original, but I love it anyway.
Mascara -Maybelline - Volum Express The Falsies Flared
PrincessofIce 1/17/2012 6:17:00 PM
Pros: Aweome price Dry formula Makes my lashes more look long and full Cons: Nothing I can think of =] I dono why everyone here hates it so much, but it's perfect for my thin asian lashes. With thin lashes, you have to find a dry formula, which is hard to find in drug store brands, but I finally found one! It's amazing and cheap too! It really does make my lashes flared and look full! Of course it doesn't work as well as the really expensive stuff, but this is perfect for me. A lot of people like the waterproof version of it more, but I didn't notice the difference other than it is REALLY SUPER waterproof.
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in Perfect Peony
PrincessofIce 1/17/2012 3:50:00 PM
Pros: Lasts long Pretty subtle pink Goes on smooth Cons: Very drying Little pricey I love this lipstick! I've been searching for a lipstick with a subtle color that I could use daily and this is it! It goes on smoothly, but it is very drying (like with all long lasting lipstick I've tried) so I use lip balm (in a squeeze tube, not the stick) and my lips are hydrated just fine. It is a little pricey for a drug store lipstick (I got it at target for almost $10) but I think it's worth it.

I got a sample of it in my birchbox (which is amazing btw) and it's pretty nice, it has a sort of spicy wood to it and some floraly sweet scent too. The reason why I only think it's ok is that I think it smells better on someone who is in their 30s-40s.
Pros: Good price (got it for about $15 with free shipping off ebay from seller rubyruby76) Evens out skin Easy to use Light coverage Doesn't break me out Cons: Mediocre oil control Packing is hard to tell how much is left I haven't really noticed much difference in the tone of my skin or wrinkles (then again I don't really have many), but it works great as quick foundation. My only real complaint about this is the oil control. I have pretty oily skin and it doesn't quite do the job to what I was expecting. I did a little bit of research on the skin79 official site and it turns out this is for normal skin. Oh well.
Pros: Pretty sheer color Isn't too drying Glossy but not sticky effect Con: Really soft and will break easily Doesn't last long Melted at 75 deg temp! I got this in G04 (tender rose) and the color is really pretty on me and goes on nicely. The reason I only gave it a 3 is because it melted after less than a year at 75 degs!! I noticed that the shape was slowly starting to warp since the lipstick is EXTREMELY soft, but one day, I pulled it out of my purse and it was like melted chocolate in the tube! It still retained some sort of a shape so I have to keep it in the fridge to use it, and I can't swipe it so I have to dab my fingers. Not buying again.

I have the sample roller ball and thank goodness I only bought that. Even then it was $12 and for something this terrible, it's not worth it. This stuff smells ok out of the bottle, but when applied, it smells heavy and musky. A little bit of old lady too. Spicy old lady haha. The advertisement says that it will make men attracted to you instantly. I think it repelled more than it attracted.

I have the small roller ball sample of this. It smells kind of fruity and musky. The website describes it as lavender and pumpkin pie but I don't smell it at all. It also claims to get men to notice you but I barely smell it on me and when I do, it smells heavy. I'm so glad I only got a sample of this. Even then I think it was a waste of $12
This color is ok. It seems to change with different lighting. In bright lighting, it looks pink. In slightly darker lighting, it looks orangish pink. It almost makes my hands looker darker. The formula is a bit thin. I used 2 coats and it's still a little streaky. I love the packing though. The brush is wider and I can cover almost my whole nail with it.
I have the roller ball version of this. It smells SO nice out of the bottle and does on me for a little while but after a few hours, it smells like baby powder, which is something I'd rather not smell like. Maybe it's my body chemistry, but I was so disappointed.
Mascara -Unlisted Brand - RevitLash - Volumizing Mascara
PrincessofIce 4/6/2011 4:48:00 PM
I used the RevitaLash eyelash serum and that stuff is amazing! The mascara, not so much. I don't like the brush. I don't know if I'm just not using it correctly, but it's difficult to use because it's thinner in the middle and the ends are a little thicker (sort of hourglass shape. It's hard to tell fr the pic) and mascara gets all over my lids. The formula itself is ok, because it doesn't clump and goes on smoothly... but that doesn't feel much different than some of the other good mascaras I've used. I got this as a gift so I actually don't know how much it is, but I wouldn't pay to have this again
I love this stuff! It goes GREAT on top of liquid foundation and makes my face a LOT less oily throughout the day. It's soft and goes on very smoothly and doesn't cake at all. This came with a starter kit a got as a gift, so I didn't have to pay for it =p. Ulta.com says it's $19 which is a bit much for me so I wouldn't buy this again unless I can't find another powder that works as well as this one
