best foundation EVER!I have been looking for the perfect foundation since hitting puberty, I turn 30 in a few days and I am SO HAPPY to say that I finally found it!! I have combination skin which is on the dry side, I have suffered from acne for many years and I am still very clog prone, I have a bit of a bumpy skin texture on my cheeks from acne scars that didn't react to my beloved AHAs and BHAs and I am starting to see fine lines especially around my eyes. I also have a few broken capillaries. This foundation applies like a dream, I wouldn't even need a mirror to be honest. I just use my fingers when I'm lazy and if I want the most perfect finish ever (I don't like to look too polished every day) I use the beautyblender with it. The finish is so natural, I can't even believe it, it stays in place, no powder needed for me. And I agree with the reviewer below, that this foundation actually looks better and better the longer I wear it when it starts to mix with the oils of my skin. This gives me this creamy looking skin I always wanted, almost airbrushed, fine lines and pores blurred out, no clogs, no oxidizing, no caking, just beautiful and natural looking skin. I wear this either alone (no primer needed with this beauty) or with thebalm foundation used as concealer (for undereye and blemishes). Since I started this foundation I have received more compliments on my complexion than I ever have in my whole life! The price is ridiculous, but I have tried so much, from la mer, chanel, cle de peau, mufe, clinique, clarins, estee lauder, armani, d&g etc etc and I was never fully satisfied, never ever emptied one bottle aside from stephane marais cream foundation (d/c), so I'll deal with the price. I use it in the color number 2 which is very neutral and in MAC I am something in between nw20 and nw25. Get a sample! It is worth a try! LOVE and so happy! :)

I am absolutely in love with this stuff! I've had a very bad cold last week and I have also done a mandelic muac peel at that time, my nose looked horrible, red, raw and flaky and the rest of my facial skin felt like it was about to fall off. I normally reach for my bepanthenol cream or lancome nutrix when my skin is in a state like this but it makes me break out every time I use it all over my face. A makeup artist recommended the new cicaplast baume to me since I work as an actress and I had to look presentable a few days later. Since I already like the original cicaplast I thought I'd give it a try. It was so soothing and moisturizing. I also used it around my red, dry eyes and I had no irritation at all. I put it on at night and the next day my skin looked so calmed down, my lips were completely healed, the redness around my nose was gone and absolutely zero clogged pores, milia or breakouts (in fact it seemed to make a little blemish I had on my forehead less red), also the fine lines around my eyes from dryness were much better. It is scentless, very rich cream, easy to spread if you warm it up between your fingers. I would recommend this to everyone who overdid actives a bit or just has dry, flaky skin. the tube it comes in is very handy, I can just throw it into my bag for emergencies or when I have dry lips. I will save my bephantenol plus for scratches and little booboos and use this on my face instead. will def. buy again and again. HG!

best mascara ever! it doesn't irritate my eyes, makes my lashes look full BUT natural, I hate looking like a barbie doll and if I want to look like one I wear false lashes. this doesn't make my lashes longer but I have long lashes already, I want them to look fuller and this is doing exactly that. it doesn't smudge, no spider lashes and it comes off with one round of face cleanse (I either use dr. bronner's peppermint soap or la roche posay deep cleansing foaming cream, depending on what my skin needs). my seach is over. finally. hg.

I love love love love love love love this product!! I hate to apply lotion after I toweled dry especially during winter when the lotion feels so cold after a nice hot shower (except for my beloved palmers aha/bha lotion, but it has actives so I'll deal with the cold :)), so I usually apply all kinds of oil in the shower on wet skin and just pat dry when I get out. my friend from the uk sent me this in-shower body lotion and I am just hooked! it only takes me a couple of seconds to cover my whole body and I have never received as many compliments on my silky soft skin since I started to use this! you also only need very little so one bottle lasts a very long time. the texture is gorgeous, like whipped cream and the scent is fresh and clean. I will repurchase this even though I have to order it online (I`m in germany), I love everything about this, what a great idea. just make sure not to rinse off too long so you don't remove too much again. I cleanse my body (also my face actually) with dr. bronners peppermint soap, apply this all over my body, massage a little and then I only rinse for a few seconds, get out of the shower and pat dry. ah, no breakouts as well and I'm very clog-prone. huge love! :)

Moisturizers -La Mer - The Moisturizing Soft Cream

I received a couple of samples of this a few days ago. I love the original la mer cream. I buy it again and again even though I can't afford it. I find it to be the best moisturizer for me (dry, acne/clog prone skin) without any actives (I have tried a lot). the new soft cream version is lovely. it sinks right into my skin without having to warm it up to be able to spread it like the original one, I just press it in and my skin is plump, moisturized and glowy. I will probably buy the soft cream next spring since I know that its moisturizing action won't be enough for me during winter time, especially around my eyes (I use retinol and aha products to fight aging and I need extra moisture there since they can get terribly dry) but during the warmer months I guess it would be fabulous. also, if you're looking for a great hydrating mask, check out nuxe masque frais hydrant, my new favorite. the first hydrating mask that actually does something for me. update: I love this. I have purchased the 30ml tub a week after I finished the sample because I missed it so much. it is very moisturizing but without the greasiness which some people might confuse with hydration.. I think it will be enough for this winter in berlin. good stuff. and a little still goes a long way.

Skincare - Face -Nuxe - MASQUE FRAIS HYDRATANT

wow! I have tried all sorts of hydrating masks and they never did anything, so I only used masks if they contained actives like aha or bha. this mask actually really DOES something, I'm amazed! it really plumps up my skin, makes it look very airbrushed and milky, the skin around my eyes is very dry since I use retinoids there as well to fight aging, this smoothes out any lines from dryness. no breakouts, only positive results. wow just wow! I leave it on as long as I have time, then spray a cotton pad with avene's thermal water and remove any visible residue except around my eyes where I just completely let it sink in. I plan to use this on future flights as well since it hydrates so so well. this is worth every penny and I am very glad that I found it! I recommend this to everyone with dry, sensitive skin (I am also clog and acne prone) will buy again!

Skincare - Body -Palmers - Skin Smoothing Lotion with AHA/BHA

this is my favourite body lotion. and I'm very lazy with lotions....but I love to use this one since it actually DOES something: I don't have any small pimples from dryness anymore because of this, my elbows and knees are soft any rosy because of this, my stretchmarks on the sides of my butt look MUCH better because of this,my skin on my body looks even-toned and is sooo soft! I have very thick black hair on my legs... it is terrible, I sometimes have 3 hair coming out of 1 pore (!!!) (gross, I know...) so I had major trouble with ingrowns, this doesn't take care of it completely but it is 80% better than before. I even use this once a week on my face if I want that AHA/BHA action in low doses and don't want to load my face with moisturizers. It hydrates enough if my face feels normal and not too dry and doesn't clog my acne-prone skin. the scent isn't great but it doesn't make me gag like the original palmer cocoa lotion scent and it fades quickly. great, affordable stuff (even for me, being in germany and having to order it online...) try this!!!

great AHA product. I like to use this 1-2 times a week but adding several layers since my skin is sensitive but the dead skin is pretty stubborn. I leave it on for 1-2 hours like a mask, not overnight. I have also tried one layer at night and my skin was smoother in the morning but I found out that several layers for a couple of hours do more for me in terms of exfoliation.I did experience light peeling but it never hurts or looks too bad, it just reveals fresh, clean new skin without clogs and acne scars are smoothed out, fine lines as well and my skin is super smooth. I like to use LRP toleriane ultra afterwards to moisturize and my skin just drinks it all up and is uber-hydrated the next day.

best self tanner for face I've ever used! everything, yes everything I've tried before made me look orange and fake. I have very fair skin with red birthmarks and a few broken capillaries in it and I have tried to find the perfect selftanner for many years. I use the chanel one in "bronze" since "golden" is a bit too yellow for me. "bronze" really gives me the color I'd get if I would bake on the beach all day (I don't, I wear ss every day since I want to prevent wrinkles and sunspots). it smells nice, no obvious self tanner smell, nice texture, fool-proof to apply, no streaks, doesn't clog me, perfect. I do like to put moisturizer around my eyes, eyebrows and hairline first. I will try the avene self tanner as well since I got it as a present yesterday, I heard many good things about that one as well and will review it soon. but I doubt that it could be better than this one. good stuff. UPDATE: avene turns orange on me. but: I've been to sicily, we only had 2 sunny days and I wore lrp sunscreen 30 every day but still got a very blotchy tan...... used this bronzer after I got home and it evened it all out perfectly, my face looks healthy and glowing. please try this one.

favourite and only body "lotion" I use. it is so easy to spread even though it's a balm. very soothing and moisturizing. I don't really have many problems with the skin on my body but I did get a few dry spots and little red bumps from shaving or dryness (I hated those on my butt...:-/). I use this balm daily (and I'm really lazy having to rub lotion into my skin for hours but this balm is so easy to spread) after my shower when skin is still damp and it took care of these issues. also, no breakouts on my chest anymore! tmi, sorry, but I suffer from dry, cracked skin around my nipples, not anymore with this balm. I even think that my strechmarks on my thighs look less noticable. skin is super soft and touchable since I started using this balm. I highly recommend this product also for non-itchy, "normal" skin. and a little goes a long way! I do use palmers smoothing lotion or walmarts aha lotion about 2 x a week to exfoliate.

Must. Find. Full. Bottle!!! Several weeks ago I was waiting for a date in a restaurant. He was very very late, in fact he called and said he had the stomach flu but I decided to stay, eat alone and have some wine. There was this beautiful girl sitting at the table next to mine chatting with a girlfriend. She had this incredible long blond ponytail, huuuge blue eyes and the most beautiful glowing complexion. And she smelled like heaven. each time her ponytail moved from her laughing I got this heavenly whiff of something incredibly sexy but at the same time innocent smelling, so so soft but very inviting. I had a few glasses of wine lol and finally asked her what she was wearing. She said "Lea". We ended up going to a club together and we still phone from time to time and since she lives in another city I decided to try this fragrance as well. Aah what a delight! Those "boring", simple notes already mentioned in other reviews are blended SO well! I still think it fits her better than me (probably because I now always associate it with her) but I am definitely going to add this one to my fragrance wardrobe.

This is the d/c MaMa lotion just with a different name and a few reformulations. What a great treatment. I started using this 2 weeks ago alternating it with Avene diacneal (for anti- aging benefits from the retinaldehydes) nightly and my dark red acne marks that have been there for ever have lightened sooo much! I don`t need concealer anymore my light tinted moisturizers covers what`s left of them. I did peel a lot at first though. I could really rub off layers of my skin in the shower without using a scrub.. And I`m used to AHA`s, I use AHA masks a lot and used GoW mandelic acid before starting this. But it didn`t irritate my sensitive skin at all except for the peeling which I found weird but I`m happy of course. I am very prone to cystic pimples and since using this there wasn`t even a small sign of a bump I`d have to fight. Nothing. Not even around Totm... I will continue using this and I could bite my bum for not trying this earlier. I will def. update in a month or two. This is how the MaMa site describes the reformulations: "As you use the M2 HP Skin Refinish, you will notice that there will be less stinging, irritation, and peeling. This is one of my 2 favourite fragrances in the whole wide world. I have no idea why it has been d/c (and now it`s so expensive grrrrrrr). I don`t want to go into fragrance note details since it already has been described beautifully by other muaers BUT: I get really emotional (in a good way) when I wear this. It makes me smell like a goddess. It is nothing I have ever smelled before (I don`t find Ginestet Botrytis similar at all, yes it also smells a little like honey and is sweet but Venezia is sooo much softer, rounder and just fuller if that makes sense). And it is so sexy. SOO darn sexy. I have never experienced a scent as sexy as this one. The boys LOVE it. More than any other fragrance I own. And I own many lol. I had guys calling me after I first met them and the first thing they said was that they want to smell me again when I was wearing Venezia. I don`t EVER want to be without this fragrance.

Oooh I like this fragrance! Actually it`s the only fragrance I like by Lollia. I smell rich honey and lemongrass in it and something like brown sugar even though it`s not a note listed. :-) Not too sweet and not cloying at all. Perfect girly scent without overpowering anybody. And the bottle is GORGEOUS, those little gold bees. Ah! Lol I might be a girly-girl after all... update: this is a compliment getter for sure. especially the boys seem to like this one. Also: it lasts DAYS on my clothes and hair!
