Blush -Beaute Cosmetics - Liqui-Gel Stain for Cheeks & Lips - Neon

If I could only own ONE blush product, it would have to be a liqui-gel stain. I really love the color of Neon on my NC30 cheeks, but more than anything, I love the lasting power, and how natural it looks. Because it sinks in completely (no sticky residue likes creams or powderyness from powder blushes), the color looks like it's part of my skin instead of looking like make-up (something that is difficult to achieve with most cheek/lip products, especially in sunlight). The stain lasts all day making it perfect for hot weather, when other items feel like they're melting off. These are pricey and I wasn't sure if I could afford more than one, but I have ordered 3 of the 4 and will continue to purchase when I run out.
I love dewy looking skin and this product delivers that. The lasting power is great, and I often layer this under other blushes to increase their lasting power. Hasn't given me any break-outs and doesn't accentuate dry patches on my cheeks. Great product for cheeks (though I have other CCB and they crease too much for eyes imo). The color is not exactly what I like (a bit too sparkly for me), but that's just a matter of taste, but won't be buying again.
Though I don't wear lipstick often, this is one I can handle. It's moisturizing enough to go on my very chapped lips without drying them out. The lasting power is also pretty good and I like the sheen it gives. Definitely my favorite l/s formula though I probably wouldn't buy again since I don't use l/s often and the color is a bit hard for me to pull off.
I was surprised at how pigmented these shadows were when I bought them. I tend to prefer shimmery shadows but in terms of quality for price, these can't be beat. Pigmented, soft, and easy to blend.
I'm still not convinced I like this concealer. Some days it works great, other days it just cakes and I can see it sitting on top of my skin (esp in the corner of the eye area). I do like that it is light and not drying, which is great for my under-eyes though it can settle into my fine lines or dry spots if I don't moisturize the area correctly. Leaves a dewey finish. Great for covering up a few spots here and there as well (has not aggravated break-outs).
Powder -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Powder

Overall a great product for the price. Doesn't look cakey and can be built up slightly for some added coverage. Keeps my t-zone from getting oily but needs to be touched up after a few hours, as with most powders. Both hinges (one for mirror/brush side, one for powder) have broken off, which is the only problem I have with this product.
Makeup Brushes -MAC - #165 Contouring Brush [DISCONTINUED]

I love this brush. It's the perfect size for strategically applying highlighters, blushes, contouring powders. Hasn't shed at all so far, and it's incredibly soft. I'm glad I bought several of these, they are great for almost everything!
Makeup Brushes -MAC - #210 Precise Eye Liner (Fine Point)

The quality of this brush is great (no shedding, bristles still look good after several washes). It's a very fine point so it does take some practice to get a good, even line but the results look great.
Liquid -Bobbi Brown - Luminous Moisturizing Foundation

I loved the look of this foundation when I first put it on, but after 2-3 hours, I could clearly see the foundation sitting on top of my skin (esp nose area). I have combo/normal skin so this might be better suited for very dry skins or people who can be bothered using primers. Otherwise, it felt a little heavy going on, but had great coverage.
I have this in Amour which is a bright blue-based pink color. I do love the color itself, just dislike the obvious sparkles (thankfully there are not too many). For those that love a bit of sparkle, this is a great one. Staying power is quite good. The gloss is a little on the thick and sticky side, but doesn't feel bad on. Scent is nice and not too strong.
Misc Beauty Tools -Clean & Clear - Oil Absorbing Sheets
MiniHorsey 7/18/2010 3:59:00 PM
For someone with combination skin (no serious oiliness), the sheets are a bit big, so half of each sheet ends up being wasted, unless they are used twice (a bit gross). I wish they were a little smaller. Otherwise, I like that they leave no residue on my skin, and don't seem to pick up any make-up I might be wearing.
This highlighter is nice, but not as good as many others I've tried. I do like it on top of blush or by itself on the cheek, but as far as highlighting other areas of the face, this does not work due to the pink tint it leaves behind. I also need to use lots of product to get good payoff when compared to other highlighters. I'll continue to enjoy using this on my cheeks, but I'll buy another highlighter next time.
Highlighters -Christian Dior - Shimmer Powder 002 Amber Diamond, Spring 08

This is definitely a lovely highlighter, but I don't know that it's worth its price. This is fairly subtle, but I can definitely see individual flecks in certain lighting. This is not very pigmented, which is good for people who are afraid to overdo things, but I find myself having to swatch more than once for a good payoff. I do love the different colors in the one compact and I use the different stripes for different areas of my face.
I use this oil for sunscreen and make-up removal and it seems to remove all residue. It's also great for hydrating my skin without giving me break-outs. Massaging it into my skin does a great job of exfoliating off dead skin since I haven't had to manually exfoliate since using this. Great product!
The feel and finish of this foundation was great and the shade choices are awesome. Didn't feel heavy and left a dewy look to my skin. The light coverage was perfect as well. I would have bought again was it not for the small bumps that it caused on my skin.
