Conditioner -Aussie - Hair Insurance Leave In Conditioner
rated 3 of 5

I normally really like Aussie products. I love every shampoo and conditioner I've ever used by them. And the styling products I've used were really good too. So I had high hopes for this conditioner. Sadly, it just wasn't all that special. It did a good job of detangling my hair, but that's about it. I don't think it moisturized much. And I personally like the scent to last in my hair, and this didn't. My hair is fine, but there's a lot of it. I will say it did not weigh my hair down, which is a plus. But if it didn't work on my hair, I'm not quite sure who it would be best for. It's not that this is awful. It's just that I've found conditioners that I like much better.

Treatments (Eye) -Origins - Eye Doctor
rated 3 of 5
Jubilee 4/13/2013 4:22:00 PM

This is a really basic eye cream. If moisture is all you're after, then this is great. But if you're looking for anti-aging, anti-puffiness or anti-dark circle, then look elsewhere. But Origins doesn't claim this is supposed to do any of that. It claims to be "moisture care for skin around eyes.". It's great for that. And I found the scent to be quite pleasant, slightly cucumber-like. But I'm getting in my mid-30s and need a bit more than just moisture, so not sure if I would really re-purchase.

Cleansers -Elizabeth Arden - Visible Difference Oil-Free Cleanser
rated 4 of 5
Jubilee 4/13/2013 4:15:00 PM

This was a pretty decent cleanser from EA. It foamed up nicely, and I always felt that my skin was clean. It was a bit drying through, and the rosemary and sage scent was a bit overpowering, but if I really needed cleanser, I might purchase this again.

Treatments -Regis - Hair Spa Deep Conditioning Therapeutic Mud
rated 4 of 5
Jubilee 4/13/2013 4:11:00 PM

I actually highly enjoyed this deep conditioner from Regis. It was very lightweight, which is excellent for my fine hair. My hair has to be washed a lot because of my job, so to prevent it from being dried out I use a deep conditioner once a week. It kept my hair in tip-top shape. I also greatly appreciated that fragrance was the very last item in the ingredient list which meant the smell of my shampoo would be more prevalent. I'm pretty sure this is discontinued. Which is sad, because its a solid product.

Styling Products -Unlisted Brand - L.A. Looks Glitter Gel
rated 3 of 5
Jubilee 2/20/2013 9:05:00 PM

I was feeling nostalgic and was in glitter phase when I purchased 20 travel-sized bottles of this on Ebay. I gotta say, it's not a bad gel. It holds my style, and I can do multiple looks with it. But unless let my hair air-dry the glitter comes out when I brush my hair. I often end up with more glitter on me than in my hair. But for special occasions or ice skating competitions, I'll slather it on, and glimmer away. :-)

Gels/Soaps -Limited Too - Sparklicious Shower Gel
rated 4 of 5
Jubilee 2/20/2013 8:58:00 PM

This is looong discontinued but I just have to comment on it, because I just purchased a bottle on ebay recently, and I have fallen in love with it. I got it in the Fab Floral Scent, which was light and non-cloying. For the most part, this is a basic shower gel. But it made my skin sooo soft! I also loved that I only saw the glitter in this in the shower, but then it would dissolve and didn't leave either me or my tub a glittery mess. *cough* Lush *cough.* Really nice product and a shame it's gone.

Styling Products -Pantene - Pro-V Style Sheer Volume Touchable Hairspray, Flexible Hold
rated 5 of 5
Jubilee 2/20/2013 8:46:00 PM

My bottle actually says Fine Hair Style Touchable Volume, but I'm pretty sure this is the same thing. This Hairspray was awesome for doing lots of different styles. I'd spray on my damp hair, then would blow-dry to get great definition. I'd also spray on damp, then flip my head upside down, scrunch, and blow-dry, and I'd have the coolest beachy waves. If I was out of hairspray I would get this again.

Styling Products -Paul Mitchell - Slick Works
rated 5 of 5
Jubilee 2/20/2013 8:39:00 PM

For slicking my long hair back in a perfect, frizz-free, sleek ponytail, this gel was amazing. Lightweight and easy to wash out. I only have two gripes. One, my hair would then look wet for this rest of the day, and never really dried. Two, I wish I could have used this as a normal gel when I wasn't doing an updo. If I did use this, then blow-dry my hair, it would make my hair look greasy. I beleive this product is discontinued, which is good. I would rather purchase a gel (or any styling product really) that I can achieve multiple looks with.

Cleansers -Clinique - Rinse-off foaming cleanser
rated 1 of 5
Jubilee 2/20/2013 8:30:00 PM

Oh, Clinique. How I used to love you. In my college days, my skin looked so good when I used your cleansers. I once loved this Rinse-Off cleanser of yours. But it has turned it's back on me, and no longer loves my skin. My skin was has never been as dry and tight as this! I tried every moisturizer, lotion, and mask to give my skin the moisture it was sobbing for. It wasn't until I tried a sample of BE's Active Cell Renewal Night Serum I had lying around that my skin felt normal again. Yay for BE! Boo for Clinique!

Fragrances -Crabtree & Evelyn - Freesia
rated 5 of 5
Jubilee 2/20/2013 8:22:00 PM

I finally have used up both my EDP and my body lotion of this scent, and I'm sad because C&E doesn't make this scent any more. I loved it because it was sweet and light, but it lasted all day. The scent wasn't a straight freesia either. It had middle notes of jasmine, rose and lily, with bottom notes of vanilla, amber, and precious woods. I think that's maybe why I liked it so much. And the body lotion would make my skin feel so soft! Please Crabtree, bring this one back!!!

Treatments -Elizabeth Arden - Prevage Anti-Aging Daily Serum
rated 4 of 5
Jubilee 2/20/2013 8:14:00 PM

I got a sample of this with the last GWP at the EA counter. I used it day and night for about three days before it was used up. Since I only used it for such a short amount of time, I really can't say much about it's anti-aging properties, because I saw no improvement in 3 days. But what I will say about it is how it made my face feel. It was light, and made my skin feel like silk. It's really pricey, so it's a toss-up on whether I would purchase a full-size or not. But if I could get it at a discount, I might reconsider. :-)

Scrubs -Freeman - Plum & Pumice Foot Scrub
rated 5 of 5
Jubilee 11/12/2012 5:56:00 PM

PLEASE Freeman, bring this back! The new version of this sucks. I like the original much better. Great fruity scent and scrubby texture. Everything I want in a foot scrub. It's getting increasingly harder to find this. But when I do, I'll be sure to get a tube.

Gels/Soaps -Clairol - Herbal Essences Body Wash
rated 3 of 5
Jubilee 11/12/2012 5:52:00 PM

This was a pretty basic body wash. It didn't really moisturize much, but it didn't dry my skin out either. It foamed up nicely, and would also make a great bubble bath. But that Herbal Essences smell is heaven! I would buy it again for scent alone. But since this is discontinued, it's gotten increasingly harder to find. Clairol, it would be awesome if you could bring this back out. Thanks. Luv, me.

Hair -Redken - Fat Cat Detangler
rated 2 of 5
Jubilee 11/12/2012 5:47:00 PM

I wanted to love this light detangler. After using Regis' Raspberry Detangler and liking it so much, I had high hopes for this one from Redken. I used to have the Redken Fat Cat mousse and loved it. But this was barely moisturizing. It was thinner than the one from Regis too. And it wouldn't hold its scent. Strike three, and this detangler is out. I expected so much more from Redken. Too bad. :-(

Moisturizers -Origins - Starting Over (with Mimosa)
rated 4 of 5
Jubilee 11/12/2012 5:41:00 PM

I really liked this cream! I can't say I saw any anti-aging effects from it, but I would wake up in the morning and my skin had the most amazing glow. And this is with me only using it as a day moisturizer! It even mixed well with foundation to make a nice tinted moisturizer. The only thing I didn't like about it was that there was no SPF. I took off one lippie for that. But if an Origins counter was around and I needed moisturizer, I would definitely get this again.
