I tried this based on the reviews here bc I was looking for something to use everyday and save my Dior mascara for when I go out. Well idk if Dior spoiled me these past years but this mascara is worthless. Actually it does make lashes darker but thats it...it should be called a lash tint not mascara. No volume, no length...no "full & soft"ness either. So far Dior has been my HG but I am curious to try ysl faux cils next.
I was actually just going over reviews searching for eye creams and when I saw this one listed I just HAD to review it. This product did nothing for me at all. I felt scammed just like someone mentioned below. Perhaps it might work on slight darkenss but I have very dark circles under my eyes...so much so that in 7th grade kids would ask me if I got punched it the eyes..lol. I'm thinking of trying 100% pure coffee eye cream and if so I will review.
This makes a huge difference for me. I am a fan of false eye lashes and with this product my falsies are collecting dust! I apply one coat of this and I dont let it dry before I apply my DiorShow mascara. I usually use 3 coats of mascara but with this you only need one coat because it will get clumpy. I curse Sephora for putting a sample of this in my bag because now I can never be without it!
I have the candy fix "flavor" although I don't taste anything but it does smell...kinda like cocoa butter with vanilla? After you apply it there's a slight burning to the lips and idk if this is normal. The color is sheer and not very glossy or shiny.I love the compact tin it comes in, very practical. Will not be repurchasing as the product is a fail bc I dont like the burning and it lasts less than 20 minutes.
I like the taste, feel (not sticky) and look of this gloss but it just lasts about 15 minutes. This would be my HG gloss if it just lasted longer. I never had a gloss lasts for such short time. Also the tube likes to spit out product before you even squeeze it so it can be messy.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
Ilove2shop21 8/1/2009 12:37:00 AM
The packaging quality got a 5 but this product is worthless. It is now used as a foot/hand lotion just like all my other failed moisturizers. And it even does a bad job at that...I just dont like throwing things away.
Lip Treatments -Neutrogena - Lip Nutrition Mango Moisture Balm
Ilove2shop21 8/1/2009 12:34:00 AM
I think this is a bad product to be considered a lip "treatment". Maybe a typical balm but definetly not a treatment. The feel is not sticky it feels awesome when first applied and it lasts for about 1 hr. It has no taste and the smell is pleasant but faint. I used it as a nightime thing before bed. I would prefer it if it were packaged in a tin or anything that didnt require screwing. I paid $12 for it at k-mart and will not be repurchasing.
Shampoo -Aveda - Black Malva Shampoo and Conditioner
Ilove2shop21 8/1/2009 12:22:00 AM
My review is for the conditioner. I have medium to light brown hair with blonde highlights and have recently obtained copperish, red tones from the sun which I dont like. At the roots I have a good bit of grey strands. I wanted to try this #1 bc Ive been thinking of going darker and wanted a trial run and I dont like my current color anyways so it didnt bother me if it messed up my highlights or anything and #2 I wanted to see if this had power to cover grey. Let me just share that this will not stain your tub if you use it while your in the shower (with running water) or underneath your fingernails. I noticed that I had grey gunk underneath my nails afterwards the next day when I would scratch my head and I also noticed that this made my scalp pretty itchy the 1st day. I left it in for about 1 hr so maybe thats why. This is very dark and my hair was almost black and the blonde highlights were no longer blonde but a darker color but still lighter than the rest. It did cover a good bit of grey. It was overall a very pretty look for me and I will continue to use when I feel like having darker hair. It washed out in about 3 shampoos/3 wks ( I shampoo once a wk) and my haircolor is back to how it looked before I ever used this. MIght try the brown one next.
I haven't used this since 9th grade so I thought I'd give it a try again when I saw it on sale. I'm more of a liquid/gel liner type of gal but I wanted something that would be easier to apply when in a hurry. This is ok. I gave it a 3. I noticed that it ends up on my eyelids all the time and it doesnt last long in the inner rim or the top lash line. It lasts longer on the bottom lashes line but not evenly. I dont know if this makes sense but it smudges off in random places as it chooses to so you never have an even look after 4+ hours. I do notice that some always remains on the bottom lash line after I was my makeup off.
I saw no difference in my fine lines at all. I like the thick texture but Im pretty sure its due to the spf. Good eye cream with a decent spf is a great concept but this one isnt it.
This did nothing for me at all. Did not decrease size of pimple or make it go away in any way shap or form. I gave packaging a 3 bc I like how you can see how much is left but a connected snap top would be best. Total waste of money though.
I ran across this on accident and went to rite aid literally an hour later and got this for 29.99. I charged it overnight like the instructions say and was super excited to use it tonight. I am so so HAPPY I got this! My skin has mild acne from time to time, sun damage bc I tan and also the beg of fine lines but not actual formed fine lines yet. I had what looked like a fine line starting to form in between my eye brows and I used this for a whole minute on that area and I promise you it is GONE now. It wasnt an actual line yet but a very fine line. I am in LOVE. I used it with the products it came with but Im not too sure on the hydrating cream bc I have a feeling it might break me out since I prefer lighter creams. It has a 1 min auto shutoff but I think I used it for 3 minutes. My skin has never ever glowed like this or felt so soft. I will tell every single friend I have to get this! I can not stop walking to the bathroom and staring at my skinand I have never been a fan of my skin. What Im a little unsure of is if #1 its ok to use twice a day and #2 if you should use it to apply your moisturizer or serums. If someone uses this or the clarisonic and knows please write me and let me know. The instructions say to but I just think the serum would get stuck in the bristles and product would be wasted. Alot of people dont like the bristles but I have pretty thick skin and I love the bristles. I hope mine lasts for a good year. If it gives out in 4 months like the reviews on drugstore.com say then I might splurge and give in to the clarisonic but for now this is my most very favorite thing in the world!
I used to use the round white sponges that you can find at any drugstore and wet those but these give a better and STREAK FREE finish. This also uses less product than the ones I used to use. I gave packaging a 1 bc I was so anxious to use mine before reading the instruction and I pulled my egg up and out of the tray it comes in instead of pushing it down and it caused a tear in one of them. Also beware of sitting your new egg on a white counter when it is wet; I did this and now have a permanent hot pink stain on my bathroom counter that clorox will not remove. Other than that great product and nothing comes above it.
Treatments (Eye) -Perricone - Alpha Lipoc Acid Eye Area Therapy with NTP Complex
Ilove2shop21 11/20/2007 4:21:00 PM
I used this with Perricone's Vit. C Ester Eye Area Therapy. This product did nothing. I have noticed NEW lines and my eye area is still dry. I also do not like the packaging. Still looking for my HG! I have tried so many from low end to high end. Next stop: The Eyes Have It.. idk who makes it but Im buying it from my derma. ******DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ONE***************
This didn't do anything. Not moisturize, correct lines, or dimish puffiness or circles.
