I agree! I love this stuff. I use the shampoo for color and use this on my hair everyday from mid shaft to ends along with the conditioner for color treated more towards the crown to mid shaft. This way my hair comes out soft but not greasy and easy to comb thru. I use the curling creme afterwards and it makes my waves more defined and soft not crunchy or tangled at all. Awesome line!
Cleansers -Chantecaille - Rice and Geranium Foaming Cleanser

I very little amount of this cleanser takes everything off quite easily. It is gentle but can be drying if you use too much or don't rinse well. Lasts for months. Well worth the price. It doesn't really exfoilate but my skin really feels clean after this. I did use the rosewater after cleansing but I recently found organic bulgarian rosewater toner for a third of the price and it works great without the added parabens. The combination of the two is a winner for me.
Great product and very reasonalbly priced for a serum. I love that you can use it on the eyes and I layer this under my eyecream twice a day. This serum is mosturizing without being greasy what so ever.
Masks -Chantecaille - Jasmine and Lily Healing Mask

I absolutely love this cream. I actually use this as a night cream instead of a mask about 4 or 5 times a week. It make my skin dewy soft and a bit brighter. The jar is heavy duty glass which I like I just wish everything was in a pump but that is just my preference. I tried this as a mask and it was good but the SA told me she sleeps in it once a week and that is how I started using it as a night cream under Juno by Sunday Riley and Vital Essence in between. Lately I've been battling dry eczema skin and this combo is working wonders.
This oil is amazing! I absolutely love love love it. I use at on my hands prior to applying hand cream ( my hands are horribly dry in the winter). I rub it through my hair before bed a few nights a week as a treatment. I also use it as a moister boost all over my face including around my eyes. I can not rave enough about this.
Tinted Moisturizer -The Organic Pharmacy - Sheer Tint

I love this product. Not by itself, mixed in with my Organic Glam Luminous Foundation. I purchased Natural Glow and at first it looked orangey. This color mixed with foundation made the perfect summer looking complection. Dewy, healthy and pretty. It is very sheer and feels so light, will continue to purchase. This is perfect for when the season changes from spring to summer and your foundation gets to be a bit light.
Treatments -Natura Bisse - GlycoLine Glyco Extreme Peel
ChrisRobb 4/11/2008 11:26:00 AM
I feel just as strongly about peels as the previous reviewer. They are amazing and this is by far the best on the market. Extremely effective yet does not cause me to have an allergic reaction like some others I have tried. MD skincare, Estee Lauder, Elemis, and other scrubs that exfoiliate. When you first apply, it does sting a little, but that goes right away. I used it twice a week for six weeks and my face does look much better. Firmer, clearer and my skin stopped breaking out like it was. I am now using it once a week to maintain the results. I am hooked. I will begin to use again twice a week if and when I need. This line is effective and gentle. I try to buy from Niemans when they have a gift of course.
This is my absolute favorite mask on the planet. You actually apply it after you cleanse, tone and put on any serums and or creams that you use. Starting from the center of all points on your face (forehead, nose, chin) you start applying the mask, spreading it towards the outer parts of your face, bringing down along your neck. Try not to get any on your eyebrows or hairline because it will stick. This stuff looks like a sheet of ice on your face after it dries 20 min - 30 min. I like 30 min. This mask plumps up your face and you do look fabulous. Try to leave the ends of the mask a little thicker and when you pull it off ( lift from the bottom of your neck up towards your forehead) it should come off in one piece and it makes your skincare penetrate deeper into your skin and what a glow. The mask does feel cool on your face. I could not get over the results. My skin was smooth, soft and lineless. I am very impressed with the results. I am using the glyco peel, diamond drops, diamond cream, and the stablizing complex and so far enjoying the results of clear soft skin.
I love love love this stuff. It will prime your lashes so that your mascara will stay all day without smudging, it is very thin going on so your lashes do not stick together or appear too thick. I have tried Lancome's& Estee's mascara primers and to me they are very thick and sticky. HG material for me. I tried using a mascara that I was going to throw away because it gave me raccoon eyes and this primer actually made the mascara work beautifully.
At first I had the same issues as other reviewers. By midmorning my bottom lashes would turn into black smears. The dreaded raccoon eyes would last all day. You can wipe and put concealer over all you want but you can still see them. I found the only only way to reap the benefits of this mascara is to use a primer under it. I use the Chanel mascara primer because it is not thick like alot of others I have found. Then I tried this mascara and it really went on nicely. The best part was that it stayed all day. No raccoon eyes, not even by 7pm after working all day and and hour workout at the gym. I was surprised. I actually bought a Chanel mascara along with the primer because I hated this product so much. The next day after I put on the primer I could not find the new Chanel mascara (rolled out of the bag and under the car seat) which forced me to use the Supernova. I guess some things do happen for a reason because I was going to toss this. I hope this can work for others because I know I hate use something I don't like because I spent the money.
Cleansers -Orlane - B21 Purette Purifying Balancing Gel

At first I liked this cleanser. My face felt super clean. I used the toner that went with the cleanser also. I am acne-prone but I can be sensitive too. After a few days, my face was very dry and tight. It seems to me that some products dry out your face so much that your skin tries to counteract this by producing more oil to compensate for the extreme dryness. Which is what my skin started doing. Of course the massive breakout of bumps on my forhead came next. I was so oily that by lunch I already used 3 oil blotting papers and I was still greasy. I had high hopes for this cleanser, it has some kicking stuff in it. I actually like this cleanser from a company called 3 Lab. It has maybe 5 ingredients in it. I suppose I will take my moms advice and stick with what works... for now. Until something else catches my curiousity.
The second ingredient of this serum is denatured alcohol. This type of alcohol when at the begining of an ingredient list can be very problamitc for skin. It causes dryness and irritation. If you are sensitive stay away. I did not notice it right away after I bought it because the packing is shiny silver and the lettering is blue and very hard to read. I started to get redness, a feeling of dry tightness, not firmness as well as irritation. I tried the entire Orlane line and not a good choice for me. The SA did a wonderful sales pitch on me and it was a long show let me tell you. After an hour of listening to her I bought everything just so I could get the heck out of there. When I brought it all back, she had tears in her eyes. This stuff is not cheap. I am still hunting for quality products that deliver. Look up everything in these lables. Knowing what ingredients do to skin can save you a reaction. In my case, I better get my eyes checked.
Treatments -Orlane - Orlane B21 Morning Recovery Serum

I love serums, especially if they are going to perform miracles while I sleep. I could not get past the smell. This is one smelly serum. It is HIGHLY perfumed. I do not care for anything that it that perfumed. I started to apply and then I washed it off. If you don't mind, it looked as if it contained some good ingredients.
I can see how so many people would not like this product, however if you are very oily with large pores it really does help. This cream I was told by the SA should only be used at night. I use the essence and whitning serum before apply this cream so that my skin has kinda "buffer". I don't know how high a concentration of salicylic acid is in this, but it sure does refine the skin. After I applied it my skin was very smooth and not at all moist. I just started using it about one week and I will say I have not woken up to any new blemishes. I looked up the benefits of salicylic acid on the skin and I read that this can improve skin thickness, barrier functions, and collegan production. Also salicylic acid has antimicrobial properties to treat breakouts. I can see how the cream could be irritating to the skin, and if this should happen to me in the next few weeks, I will use it maybe 3 or 4 nights and switch on and off. This is not the only product out there by far that has salicylic acid, it is finding what works for your skin type that is sooooooo hard. I've been trying stuff for years and years to help my oily blemished skin. Never give up, and always try to return it if it doesn't agree with you. UPDATE: I will be heading my own advice, the last two days my skin began breakingout in these little bright red bumps. I am sure it is from this whole line. When I try a new line, I try it exclusively to see if it agrees with my skin. The SA will not be happy with me, but hey what are going do, it is not like we want to have a reaction. Territory comes with trying new things.
Treatments -SKII - whitening source dermdefinition
ChrisRobb 1/24/2008 3:54:00 PM
I decided to try the entire SKII line and since I love serums, this caught my eye. I have some acne scarring and who doesn't want a brighter complection. I have only been using this for a week along with the skin refining night cream and I purchased the whitening cloth masks (only used one mask) and my skin is becoming more uniformed and brighter. Acne spots are getting lighter. I do believe these products are more for an oily skin type. This serum is suppose to increase hydration, if it does it is not a greasey hydration, it sinks right. I do use the night refining cream over it and I can see a diffenence. I can't wait to see the effects after a few more weeks. UPDATE: All of a sudden the last two days, my skin has broken out in tiney bright red bumps. Can't say for sure if this particular product is to blame. I tried the entire SK II line and I am stopping everything until this clears. I might introduce this serum to my skin to see if I can use it or I might just return it. I have a feeling the whole line is just not as good for me as I thought. I don't know why, my skin will love something new for about a week and then boom! Trouble strarts. It's frustrating.
