I've been using this foundation ever since I got it in a GWP from Bloomie's about 4-5 months ago. I just bought the full size bottle in a different color yesterday.

This foundation is my current HG. It gives my skin a beautiful airbrushed glow. My skin type is combination, where I go through periods of it being super dry to oily. The wear is fantastic, even after a workout at the gym (if I happen to be wearing this beforehand), my skin still looks good.

This gives moderate coverage on my face and just about 1 1/2 pumps is all I need for my face.

The bottle is beautiful and elegant looking. It's one of the prettiest foundations I have owned in a long time.

The price is $37, which is an okay price for department store brands.

I will definately repurchase this is I run out (but that won't be anytime soon of course).

The color I bought was Bisque 4 (W).

Lipstick -NARS - Schiap
rated 5 of 5
Charma22 12/22/2010 1:49:00 AM

I, too, bought this color because Troy Jensen used this on Kim Kardashian for a georgous bright pink pout. Before this, I never would have tried it since I have a light to medium yellow toned complexion and about 4 years ago Funny Face was my staple. This is definately the color to wear when you want to look girly and flirty and want your lips to stand out. For those that love the color, but do not like Nars formulations because of texture/smell, I found that the MUFE Rouge Artist Intense lipsticks in shade 36 is a perfect match for color/tone. I tried many different pinks at Sephora to find a match and most were a hair darker or pinker/redder etc, but 36 was definately a great match.

Polishes -Sephora - Sephora by OPI LOOKS LIKE RAIN DEAR

This is a gorgeous holiday shimmery/glitter gold color. I'm very yellow toned and this gold works for me. It's almost like a cool toned gold. The glitter is somewhat chunky, but it works in this color. This is definately going to be my pedicure color for when I go to Vegas next week. It makes my toes look "high end."

I love the smell of this one. It is perfect for the cold weather when it's sooo cold that you have to take a hot shower or bath to warm up. The scent smells very yummy in a marshmellow chocolate sort of way.

Moisturizers -First Aid Beauty - Daily Face Cream
rated 5 of 5
Charma22 9/22/2010 12:59:00 AM

I bought this at Sephora when I was looking for an oil-free, lightweight moisturizer for my bf. His skin is very acne prone and gets oily during the day. He already uses an Olay SPF 30 that he uses during the day, so I needed something for him to use at night.

This lotion is so lightweight and sinks in the skin immediately. I was actually surprised when I tried in on in store. This is an oily skin's dream. The consistency is very thin and will not leave you shiny while you wait for it to absorb.

What also attracted me to it in the end was the price. At only $18, it is a steal! I purchased this on the spot. My bf uses it every night and says he loves it.

I will definately repurchase.

Lotions/ Creams -Equate - Dry Skin Cream (in jar)
rated 5 of 5
Charma22 9/20/2010 8:11:00 AM

This stuff is amazing for dry skin. At first when I bought it, i got it based off of reviews and going to Walmart for the first time in years. I was shocked at how huge the jar was. The consistency was very thick. I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do with this since it seems too thick for face cream. But, after running out of a moisturizer I was using for dry skin, I decided to give this jar a shot. And, you know what? I LOVE IT! It doesn't break me out. I use it everywhere on my face and neck. This cream is also a good hand/body moisturizer as well. I will definately repurchase this one.

Palettes -Sephora - Color Diary
rated 5 of 5
Charma22 9/14/2010 4:21:00 AM

Wow. I normally am not into Sephora premade kits because of the quality, but what drew me into this one was the fact that it came with 5 open faced palettes that you can pick and choose to put in the traveling closing palette (if that makes sense).

I was also hesitant because of the quality of eyeshadows that seem to comprise Sephora's previous premade palettes.

But, let me tell you that this one is fantastic. Each palette has 6 eyeshadows, 1 one and 1 lipgloss. The box that carries all the product has a mirror, as does the travel compact. The eyeshadows are pigmented. I tested them with my fingers and then later with a brush. The colors apply smoothly and evenly. The blushes are shades of soft pink and peach. The lipglosses don't have an offensive smell and are very smooth on the lips. They aren't very sticky.

I've had this palette for a week one and I've worn colors from all the palettes and each color, even the matte ones are good.

For reference I am an NC25/30 with a very golden/yellow tone. So for a medium skin tone, all the shades work. I wear both cool and warm toned colors and can wear pretty much every color in the palette. My faves are the purples and the super vibrant blue. There is also a beautiful neutrals palette included.

This set retails for $34 right now and it is very much so worth the money.

I love buying makeup, in fact, I usually make Sephora my weekly must go to shop store. But with this palette, I feel complete in eyeshadows and blush for the time being.

Lip Treatments -DuWop - IcedTeas Translucent Lip Treatment
rated 4 of 5
Charma22 8/4/2009 9:16:00 PM

What a great concept from Duwop. Sheer, Juicy looking colors in a translucent colored lipstick with the smell and taste of summer. I purchased the color called Passionfruit which is a sheer orange. I love how the color in the tube looks. Sheer see through orange. The smell and taste are divine. The other colors were a sheer pink, and two different berries ( or so they looked). The price is $19 at Sephora. It says on the box that these have sunscreen, however I cannot find the sunscreen on the ingredients list which means that you shouldn't rely on this for sunscreen for your lips (too bad). I will pull this out anytime I want moisture (the finish is a soft shine), but I won't be afaid to use this at night since the color is so sheer and this seems to be good at giving moisture. I wish I had enough money to buy the pink one too as these smell so good. Give them a shot. Never thought I would buy Dewop but this product suckered me in.

Palettes -Smashbox - Mother Earth Palette 2009
rated 4 of 5
Charma22 4/17/2009 9:21:00 PM

This palette is new from Smashbox. I was recently in Sephora at the Beverly Center in LA looking at makeup skincare since the 15% offer was going on. I asked of the workers there if they would honor the 15% off even though I didn't have the offer printed off and they said okay. So I looked around at all the brands, testing different kinds of colors, textures. I knew that I wanted something more all natural/paraben free.

I was looking at Smashbox at the foundations. I was showing my boyfriend another brand that doesn't match me, when I noticed this palette on display, It comes in a light colored wooden case. It includes 4 eyeshadows and 1 blush. Two eyeshadows are shimmery (light gold/deep grey-blue) and two are matte (ivory/dark plum-brown). The blush is an orangy pink.

The back of the packaging states that : "Mother Earth Palette-Organic, Sustainable, Recyclable. Think Eco Chic! Being "green" has never been so easy. The Mother Earth Palette is the perfect gift for someone special, or to keep for yourself! The palette includes 4 stunning shadows and a blush all made from certified organic ingredients, housed inside a compact and sleeve made from sustainable materials. With each purchase, a tree will be planted by Trees for the Future, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating sustainable environments through reforestation around the world. Make sure to recycle the palette!"

Ingredients: Talc, Corn Starch, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Magnesium Stearate, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Tocopherol, Qrange Oil. May contain Mica, Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxides.

The ony negative thing that I have to say about this palette is that there is no mirror included or brushes.

Quality is pretty good for an organic product. Price was semi-expensive for me, but at $45, it's pretty good for the amount of product you get.

Check it out now. This is a great organic item to add to my collection.

Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear Pressed Powder
rated 4 of 5
Charma22 3/3/2009 5:11:00 PM

Wow, this is a great powder. I apply it with a brush as a setting powder. I purchased the medium color debating between that an light. I have moderately fair yellow skintone. I'm so glad that I bought the medium based on other reviews saying to buy darker than you think. This powder doesn't completely cover, but it does tone down the redness slightly in my face over acne marks.

Price is roughly $13.95...I bought it at 40% off from Longs, but I will next wait for a B1G1 when I need another one.

The wear on this powder is quite good. I have combination dry skin (leaning slightly more towards dry). If I'm not careful, this powder could get cakey, but I check the powder on my skin before I leave my house. This powder is used with a brush because the loose powder version is very thick and cakey.

I love that this uses all natural ingredients.

Mascara -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Mascara
rated 3 of 5
Charma22 3/2/2009 10:18:00 AM

Wow, I am surprised by these reviews, which is why I'm glad that I didn't check the reviews before purchasing. I really like this mascara. First of all, since November, I have only used natural skincare and makeup products. So, in the mascara department, I wasn't wearing any. I really wanted to buy a mascara, and I knew of Dr. Haushka, but I wasn't willing to shell out about $30 for one.

This macara happened to by B1G1 from Rite Aid, so I gave it a shot.

This mascara reminds me a lot of Clinique Naturally Glossy. It doesn't really lengthen or volumize, but it just defines, which is fine for daytime and work.

This mascara did not smudge on me, however, I only wore it on top. No none wp mascara is going to stay on all day w/o smudging you mascara the bottom. You learn that in mascara 101. So, I had no problems with it.

. I think that the tube is adorable with the green shiny leaf tip.

This mascara is about $9.95 at Rite Aid stores.

Lip Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Peacekeeper Eco-Sensual Balm
rated 5 of 5
Charma22 2/10/2009 2:49:00 PM

This lipbalm is one of the nicest all natural lip balms I have found since going all natural with my skincare and makeup. It has a very emollient feel. Before this I had been using Burt's Bees lipbalm with pomegranite and Badger Vanilla Madagascar---while they are both nice, my lips looked wrinkly and felt semi dry. Peacekeeper gives them an emollient, comfortable feel.

Ingredients are: Organic Palm Oil, Organic Virgin Olive Oil, Candelilla Wax, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Essential Oil of Spearmint, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Grapeseed Oil (Antioxidant), Rosemary Extract and Vitamin C (Antioxidant).

What I love most about this besides the fabulous texture and the smell and feel of spearmint on my lips (which I found to be nonirritating, yet fresh), was that the Peacekeeper brand's items say that "All profits after taxes fund urgent human rights issues."

How great is that? You can help gives your lips moisture, while helping others at the same time.

This lipbalm is completely 100% vegan (which I love as well, since I am vegan....so glad there is no Carmine in there (as there is the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers). And it is 73% organic.

I bought this lipbalm at Whole Foods for $3.49. I found that to be a fairly inexpensive price for an organic lipbalm. The Peacekeeper line also includes lipsticks, lipglosses and nail polishes.

Fragrances -Fresh - Strawberry Flowers
rated 5 of 5
Charma22 12/2/2008 11:09:00 PM

Let me start off by saying that I never buy perfumes due to working in the beauty industry, I have over 20 in rotation that I've gotten free. However, earlier today, I sprayed on Strawberry Flowers because I needed to kill time in Sephora and I love strawberry scents. Well, it's been 3 1/2 hours and I can still smell it on my hand where I tested it. The smell is a very sophisticated strawberry scent without being overpowering. You know how you hear about those scents that people can only smell when they get really close to you? THis is one of those. It's light and fresh, while being undeniably girly. This is not typically what is considered a winter scent, but perfect for the spring. Now, saying all that, I did purchase this one. The price was $24.50 for a 30ml (which is actually quite cheap compared to other brands), I was actually shocked by the price, since in the Sephora catalog, it is listed for $38.00 (which I was prepared to pay). My boyfriend smelled it and he said that it smelled really good, and when I said should I get it, he said, do you really wanna buy another perfume, and I said yes, and it was a go :). This is a sephora exclusive (or so it says on the box), but for those who want a sexy fresh strawberry scent, that isn't typical of those strawberry teenage scents (you know with that really strong plasticy strawberry overtone), this one is perfect. Like I said, 3 1/2 hours and counting and I can still smell it...and it still smells really good! Get yourself to a Sephora and test this one out!

Polishes -Chanel - Black Satin
rated 2 of 5
Charma22 11/7/2008 2:44:00 AM

Oh, how i wanted to love Chanel polishes. But each and every color I get, the same results remain. A cheap looking shine, and chips within the first five minutes of wearing. This polish also has an incredibly soft texture that it takes forever to dry, therefore resulting in smudges. I do love the Black Satin color. One coat is all I need. I have only worn this twice, and each time, had to change polish by the 2nd day. I'm surprised by the good reviews on this b/c the quality of Chanel is not with their polishes. The price should be on par with Wet N Wild (and even Wet N Wild has some winners). Will not buy again.

Powder -Clinique - Almost Powder Makeup SPF 15
rated 3 of 5
Charma22 9/27/2008 5:46:00 PM

To the post below who said that this is not mineral powder, actually doesn't know much about minerals. The main ingredients in this is talc, which is a mineral. What's great about this powder is that it includes broad spectrum spf 15 protection. The wear is pretty decent for a powder, it works best on combo skins. The only thing that I don't like is the color range. There is such a huge jump between colors and the undertones are somewhat strange for my skin. When I used this, I used Light, which is the lightest yellow toned color. I won't repurchase at this time, unless I find I need another powder with SPF, and I have found this one better than Shiseido's sunscreen powder (very thick and chalky.
