Eye Shadow -Tarte - Lock and Roll Eyeshadow Duo Set
rated 5 of 5

Received this as a sample on my last Sephora visit and am loving it which is saying a lot since I'm not a huge Tarte fan! Beautiful rose gold shade. I did use my own brush to apply the cream after initial application and my own brush for the powder as well. I didn't feel I had as much control with the roller ball applicator as I would like. But wow, this stuff stays! Even through teary chick flicks!

Mascara -MAC - Fibre Rich Lash Mascara
rated 5 of 5

For less than $10, I'd say this is a darn good mascara. Not the fated Holy Grail, but I'll take the oomph it gives my lashes over au naturel. Normally, my lashes are dark brown and fairly long, but this deepens, dramatizes and seems to lenghten. No clumping or smudging for me either.

Scrubs -Aveeno - Skin Brightening Daily Scrub
rated 5 of 5

Decided to try this when I ran out of my holy grail scrub, but was unwilling to cough up the big bucks for it anymore. At first, I thought it was breaking me out, but finally decided it was monthly hormones. Great for mild daily exfoliating and makes skin baby butt smooth!

Blush -MAC - Variety
rated 5 of 5
Casii 10/9/2003 9:25:00 AM

I bought this solely on the raves of a MAC mu artist and when I received it I thought, "Damn, no Christmas card for him this year. This is frightening." But since I can never keep my hands to myself, I had to try it and my MAC guy redeemed himself. A beautiful, healthy flushed glow. Not glittery disco nightmare or fevered, but a came in from playing in the snow flush.

Lip Gloss -MAC - song and dance lipglass

I hate to sound like a broken record, but I too find this to be a pinker version of Lust which makes it perfect for me. Lust pulled orange on me and this is a natural, healthy pink color. Perfectly perfect pink!

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Color Juice Raspberry Smash
rated 4 of 5
Casii 9/9/2003 10:01:00 AM

A stellar knock off of a certain high priced department store product. This gloss carried me through summer when I wanted color, but not the weight of a lipstick. The texture is great and even though the flavor is a bit over the top, I prefer to use that to send me back to the days when make-up was simple and all flavor was funky and artificial. The rounded applicator is my one big beef with this. It's awful. The person who thought of it is in the same category as the man who invented the wrapping on cds or the genius who thought it was a great idea to put great wads of cotton in my Midol.

Blush -Stila - Convertible Color Lillium
rated 5 of 5

This is one of the few CCs I own and I pick it up often. A great healthy flushed color and it will last forever since I only need a bit for each use. Would never tell the dh how much I paid for it though. He doesn't get it (much like I don't get his custom speakers for his car)!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Bronze Sugar
rated 5 of 5
Casii 6/10/2003 9:11:00 AM

This is great for my summer skin when despite sunscreen, I still manage to go a shade darker. I found it to be great alone or over lipstick especially when I'm wearing a bronzer. Miss the tackier texture though, it'll wear off sooner.

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

Whew, for the first minute it does have a tingly sting, but after the party was over, my skin was smooth and my pores were thanking me. Definitely not for the sensitive. I can handle a lot, but I was pacing around waiting for the tingling to stop. My son has taken to using this on his t-zone and his skin is doing remarkably better (big testimony from a guys guy).

Bronzers -MAC - Refined Golden
rated 5 of 5
Casii 6/10/2003 9:00:00 AM

I was wondering whether I reallly needed another bronzer, but since this was limited edition it was calling my name. And I'm so glad it did! This is a soft golden shade that can go on light or be built up for a deeper glow. The shimmer is barely noticeable to me and I got loads of compliments on my 'tan' at a wedding on Saturday. Love it!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Nymphette lipglass
rated 5 of 5

Reminds me a lot of Nars Sweet Dreams with it's champagne golden pink, but better since it's considerably cheaper. Great over lipstics or alone (esp. when tan)!

Blush -MAC - Stain in Coral Cast
rated 5 of 5
Casii 6/3/2003 2:17:00 PM

I am in love with these stains!!! Coral Cast is frightening in the tube, but went on a beautiful flushed coral on my skin. So much easier to apply than most cheek stains and lasts throughout the day. Looks so natural that at an auction, 3 women remarked on my gorgeous skin, but it was the Coral Cast!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Old Gold
rated 5 of 5
Casii 6/3/2003 2:05:00 PM

This was my first pigment and I don't think I'll ever run out of it, but I love it. Wonderful for a dramatic look. People can't quite figure out why your eyes look so good or what's on them, but they love it. Beautiful burnished gold that flashed sea green.

Lipstick -Stila - Wacky Chick Lipstick
rated 4 of 5
Casii 5/27/2003 9:45:00 AM

I love the color which is great for summer, a nice peachy-pink, but detest the packaging. There are very few things Stila which I need to repurchase because they're always coming out with another must-have limited edition! This does seem creamier than my other Stila lippies.
