not unique looking but i can't resist these blackish np. the application is amazing, one coat wonder!! and i'm a three coater by habit.
I told the SA that I wear the Ricepaper / eyeliner combo for my everyday look but starting to get bored with it. Without a word, he brushed Quarry on my crease. Viola! Problem solved!
The lotion is light and is absorbed quickly so there is no greasy feel. The smell, however, is unbearable. I got myself the blue one thinking it is the less offensive of the two (the other is the cucumber melon) but I can't seem to warm up to the scent. Smells like a bad aftershave and it sticks around for awhile. I don't want to give my patients a headache! LoL The packaging is super cute tho, too bad. Pass.
I own and wear a lot of neutral eyeshadows (a few of them from UD) so, at first, I debated about buying this. I am glad I caved in because the shadows are beyond awesome. I got the one with the brush and, honestly, I really don't care for the eyeliners anyways so I didn't feel robbed like some of the reviewers here. For $48, you get 12 full size shadows for 4 bucks a piece plus a travel size primer potion. If that is not value, then I don't know what is! I bought mine from the UD website recently and alerted my girlfriends about it. They all got theirs as well....=)
it was thick and goopy, i had a hard time applying this. too bad this is my favorite color from the collection. waking up in vegas by deborah lippmann looks like a very close color.
Polishes -Lippmann Collection - Across the Universe

Maybe my technique needs more practice but I've been playing with the polish for a couple of days now and I hate that my 3 coats looked so thick and bumpy. I've looked at swatches online and theirs looked flat and smooth. I wish they can tell me exactly how to lay in on. The color itself is amazing with its blue and green glitter that looks like a mermaid. While I love the depth if applied by itself, I think I will use a blue or black nail polish base next time, since I love the opaque look anyways that it would be easier.
Yes!! I thought it was just me but another reviewer had noticed the similarities of this perfume to the baby cologne Nenuco. While I adore Nenuco, Escale a Portofino dries down like B.O. on me. (The same with Miss Cherie Dior Orig/ L'Eau) Maybe I'm just not a Dior girl. I'd, perhaps, prefer AG Eau de Hadrien with its sharper top notes and pleasantly fresh drydown on my skin.
My Christmas manicure, it was very sparkly!! I can't stop staring at it, esp in the sun. Three coats was all it took to cover the nails entirely. Kept it for 3 days with minimal tip wear. Then it was time to remove it. Man! I was scrubbing so hard, dried my nail pretty bad. I wish I knew a better technique to remove glitter nail polish.
Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Summer Fruit

Same with everybody, the packaging is what caught my eye. "Do I need another lip balm? But the pink round thing is just too cute. Okay!" I love Weleda Everon lip balm and this lip balm feel the same on my lips. Thin, waxy, but not sticky or shiny. I hate runny lip balms anyway cause they don't last long and I hate to constantly reapply. This has good staying power and it is perfect under lip gloss.
My nails will forever be thankful for this wonderful product. My passion for nail polish had grown exponentially this past year and I've changed my polish every other day (sometimes everyday...hehehe). My nails began to suffer from constant exposure to harsh polish remover, making them brittle and peeling. Using this twice a day healed my poor nails, making them smoother and stronger after a week's use. A bit greasy at first but it makes it easier to massage the product in and it sinks in minutes. The smell's like lemony ginger or rosemary? I love it though. The container's cute but can be a potential (so far, so good) troublemaker during travel, a screw top lid maybe better. Love. HG.
I liked the idea of the color but it was slightly darker compared to what I was hoping teal would look like. For me, it didn't look any more special than your average dark blue nail polish. It applied smooth, even, and glossy. However, I experienced a few tiny chips after a day of wearing it even after I used the RBL treatment system. I have older RBL nail polishes that wore better even without the treatment system. I won't buy this again because of the color. As for the wear, I'm hoping this is only from a bad batch because my previous experiences with RBL have been exceptional. (P.S. I probably got a bad batch of No More War too because it also chipped fairly quickly BUT the color is truly unique that I am willing to overlook that ....for now =D)
Olive green cream. I've never seen one before, definitely unique to me. Application- great. Wear- small chips in two days. The older colors from RBL seem to last longer than the newer ones and I haven't really changed my manicure routine. However, I love the color enough that I would still repurchase. Maybe I needed to experiment with other tc/bc or break the piggy for their treatment system (been thinkin about it anyway)
I love this!! Great basecoat, great alone for a clean natural manicured look. I found it at TJ Maxx for $3.99, I stocked up for sure!!!
Lotions/ Creams -Graftobian - Spiced Floral Hand Cream

I sniffed my hands the whole day the first time I tried this hand cream on. I simply love this smell. It is very feminine, not too much. The lotion sinks fast and moisturizes without being greasy. It is hard to be faithful to one product, being a hand cream junkie and all, but this is the one I carry around in my purse. It works and smells great at the same time. $20 for 5oz hand cream may be too much for some but if you want to treat yourself to something more special, definitely get this. My only complaint? I can't put in my carry on luggage because it is over the 3oz limit so I have check it in =(
Yes, the green color gets darker when applied to nails (compared to bottle color) but I think I've noticed that in some of my other dark colored RBL polishes as well. It still looked green in the dark, which is good, kinda like pine green or forest green. I wore it to our Christmas party and got lots of compliments from it. The wear is excellent, given the fact that I abuse my hands a lot at work and it being a dark color and all... no chips for 5 days. Will buy it again if I ever ran out.
