I LOVE this product. I have never used a long lasting lipstick/gloss that has worked this well. I put it on before I got in the shower today just because I thought it'd be a great test and when I got out nothing had moved or faded. It lasted until I ate 6 hours later, and it just peeled a bit because I hadn't recently put the top hydrating coat on. I've been very impressed today I just wish that they had more colors. The only one I'm really interested in is Crimson--the one that I have. The packaging is perfect too. I can't possibly lose any of it which is good for me and it has a shiny metallic case so you can actually use it as a mirror to see if your lips are still looking good. I will absolutely be buying a back-up.

I wasn't interested in this product, due to the poor reviews here. But my mom bought one, and I decided to try it, in Merlot. She has darker skin than I, and I thought the color would be too dark on me, but it wasn't - it was beautiful. So I decided to buy one too, although I bought Pomegranate - a bright cool berry shade. It is beautiful! I know people are saying it doesn't last all day, but honestly, if it lasts 3 hours on me, I'm thrilled - normally I'm reapplying lipstick every half hour. The case is a little awkward, but it looks beautiful on - I love the topcoat. One word of caution - don't test this on the back of your hand! I did that with my mom's color, and I still can't get it off! :)

I love the packaging. So cute & compact. One side has the color, which is a thin, easy to apply consistency with the doe foot applicator, the other side is a lip balm type top coat. I found the color the I chose was very true to the packaging. Hibiscus is a nice summery pink. I applied it right away. A thin coat of the color, let it dry for a couple of minutes, applied the top coat. Looked pretty, felt good, I forgot it was on my lips. It did wear off by the evening, but wasn't flaky or patchy looking. But....the next day my lips were so dry. It was very uncomfortable. I was carrying around my Herbal Answer Lipbalm all day trying to keep my lips moisturized. $11.99 for a drug store product to dry out my lips! Bah!

Good package, good product, but the actual color looks nothing like the color on the package. It does not dry my lips out like many of the long lasting products, but the color is much lighter and frosted as compared to the color on the display.

Why does cheap always have to look so durned sparkly? This is an good formulation of long-wearing lippy that does not crack or peel or dry you out but the colors are so ICK! The pinks look like bubblegum. The nudes look like brown mud and the reds and mauves are just garish. I tried three. Teaberry/200 (too pink for my medium complexion with yellow undertones) but it stayed beautifully. Next I tried the lightest pink, Azalea/100. It's a sparkly pink and could work for evening but just too discoball for everyday. I wore it out with a smoky eye and that looked fine but dang, why so so much glitter? Last one before I gave it up as another lesson in you get what you pay for was Amythyst/520. This is a plum that leans towards the browner side. Works okay for day. Believable because the sparkle is somewhat less noticible. So this gets 3 because the formula is wearable but the colors are just so poorly conceived. The nudes were really the worst. I have ever seen. Try with caution and save the receipt in case it ends up looking awful.

In a misguided burst of hope for a truly long-wearing lipstick, I bought two colors: a coral one and a warm reddish one. I like both the colors. However, the formula wore off as soon as I ate something, which I did `15 minutes after applying the lipstick. So I tried wearing it without eating or drinking, and after about two hours it had worn off except for that blasted ring around the edge that these kinds of lipsticks always produce. The formula is softer and less dry than others I have tried. Cool packaging. But I still will not be purchasing again.

Got this in 120 (GERANIUM)..it is better than the other all-day lip sticks. My lips were soft all day long, the color did not fade or flake. I enjoyed wearing this and will buy again because of the pretty nude color, very long wear, and soft feeling lips.

I am so disappointed in this product. The packaging is pretty cool, like the first reviewer said - the two components are both clicked into the "case" so they stay together, which is a nice feature.

I bought the "Grenadine" shade, which is one in the "wines" category. I thought the actual lip color was very close to the sticker on the package, and was pleased with the shade. It does take the full 2 mins to dry. I found that I needed to reapply the topcoat more often than I want to. I put this on at 8:00 am and by 3:00 it was completely trashed. I had a few flakes stuck to my lips and the very outline edge, and that was it. I did have a sub sandwich for lunch, complete with Italian dressing, so that may have broken it down some, but I have also eaten that same thing while wearing CoverGirl Outlast, and had dinner later, and gone to bed, and STILL woke up with it much more intact that this stuff was. Would definitely not buy again. It is going in my "emergency back up makeup" bag in my desk at work, and won't be used on a regular basis.

I saw this at Wal-Mart a couple of weeks ago, and since I'm a lip product junkie, I had to have this. The packaging of this is sort of unique -- a clear balm and a liquid lip color store along-side each other inside a silver mirror-finish case. It's nice because unlike other long-last lippies (ie. Lancome Juicy Wear, MaxFactor LipFinity, CG Outlast), the balm and liquid color are held in one place so they can't get lost in your bag. And, the case serves as a quick mirror, which is nice.

However, I had the hardest time choosing a color! The outside of the liquid lip color part is opaque, and the color of the plastic is supposed to emulate the color inside, but after I got home, I found out that it didn't. I prefer when the containers are clear so you can actually see the liquid inside and gauge the color.

The color that I got was Rosebud, which I thought would be a MLBB rose color, but on my pinky-pigmented lips, actually looked more like a light wine color. The color is pretty, but I'm someone who usually prefers sheer pink or nude-neutral lips, so this is a little too dressy of a color for me.

As for the actual product, the liquid lipcolor is easy to apply... it has a slanted doe foot similar to other L'Oreal lipglosses. It does take the full 2-min to dry, though. The balm is silky and has a bit of pearliness to it. It has a gel texture and is not especially moisturizing.

The lasting power of this is pretty decent -- I did notice some fading in the inner part of my lips after I ate dinner. It didn't dry out my lips too terribly bad, either, or flake off my lips.

Overall, this stuff is not bad, but for the price-tag, I think I will stick with Maybelline, which is about $4 cheaper. (The L'Oreal is $11.99)

EDIT 7/26/07 - Ok, so I was wandering around at the drugstore again and decided to try a different color. I got Geranium, which was the original color that I'd wanted at Wal-Mart. It's under the "pinks" category, but on my lips, looks sort of brown, sort of like MAC Jubilee lippie, but more taupe. It looks sort of blah on me. I also got another color so I will update once I try that one.

EDIT 8/22/07 - Finally got around to trying the third color I bought, Teaberry. I think I'm about to give up on this product because I just can't find a "wow" color. Teaberry is sort of too cool-toned and bright for me (light-yellow toned skin), not to mention too sparkly. It seems like all of the colors in this line that have shimmer are too sparkly and look strange. *SIGH* Guess I will have to stop trying!
